Find the Best Hotels Near Beach in Sydney

If you want to enjoy bondi beach area, its a great place to stay because its right in front of the beach and plenty of restaurants and bars. However, if you’re a light sleeper, might not great since it gets quite noisy during night time from crowds partying nearby and also on ground floor bar. Unless you want to be part of the party crew ;) staff were super nice. It is quite small but has everything

This is an almost perfect hostel, for sure one of the best I've ever been! Great staff, really good breakfast included, billard pool and couches plus the various activities (as well as possible bike, Beachvolleyball etc rental for free!) make it easy to connect quickly. Also, the beds are very comfortable amf the curtain provides some privacy too. Only point for improvement: an air condition in the room would be great. But the Ventilator worked fairly well too.

• room: overall clean and equipped with fridge and microwave which was very convenient. My room was facing the side of a kindergarten so in the morning after 7.30 it was pretty noisy and during the day also • amenities: there is a well equipped kitchen, a little small for all guests but it is just about planning when to use it, there is a nice garden and books and games available in the living room • location: 10 min walk to the beach, 20 min walk to the supermarket and overall it is in a nice quier neighbourhood • staff: friendly and supportive my background: I travel 320 days a year since 8 years staying in all range of accomodation from hostel to 5star. I just review objectively what I see with no judgement

I stayed in the female dorm at MAD Monkey Hostel Coogee Beach and had a really enjoyable experience. The location is amazing, just a short walk to Coogee Beach, with plenty of cafés, restaurants, and shops nearby. The female dorm was comfortable and had a friendly atmosphere. It was also a great place to meet other travellers, especially as a solo traveller. The common areas made it easy to socialise without feeling pressured. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was fun and relaxed. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider staying here again when I’m back in Sydney!

It was great. Free street parking was available. The neighborhood felt safe, although not quite as chic as Bondi or similar areas. The room was spacious and stylish. The shared kitchen was helpful and very convenient. Public transport connections from the accommodation are also excellent. A very good choice in Sydney!

The receptionist was very friendly. We arrived early, but she knew we had just come from the airport and immediately helped us check if we could get a room early. The security was also enhanced by the encrypted door at night.

OK for one night. The hotel is above the pub, which is also very busy in the afternoon. There is also live music there on Sundays until around 9 p.m. Everything is perfectly fine, unless you have room 10 next to the washing machine/dryer and sleep next to the ventilation. Even though drying and washing is not allowed after 9 p.m., it was very annoying. The hotel rooms face the back, so in the morning you also have the noise from the loading area of ​​the supermarket. On the positive side, the room was in a modern condition and the staff were all very nice. The beach is a ten-minute walk away.

Booked this hotel based on its high review rating, but was disappointed. If you are from the Uk, I’d compared this hotel to a Travelodge. Basic facilities, bathroom felt a bit grubby, crumbs etc on the sofa in the room, and the room smelled a bit musty. The staff were all very pleasant, laundry room is available, and while it feels like it’s in an industrial estate, the bus stops just outside to travel elsewhere, and it’s around a 30 minute walk to the very nice Curl Curl beach. Great if you want a quick stop off for a night or two, or don’t plan on spending long at the hotel - but wasn’t really what I was hoping for.

Location is fantastic if you are staying on bondi, walkable to beach and restaurants. Yoga and paint and sip were included. There was a nice kitchen to use and rooms to hang out in. The bathroom in the private rooms is very small. Toilet is basically in the shower, similar to a sailboat bathroom. Smelled a little moldy in the showers but other than that the room was clean. The only complaint was that it was SO loud. I had a hard time falling asleep and woke up from people being to loud. You hear everything so bring earplugs.

The interior and the shower needs to be updated, very old and outdated. The floor in the shower fills up quickly and not running down the drain fast enough which was quite unpleasant to experience. The place needs heating or a heater as it can get quite cold during the winter. The queen bed was comfortable and warm and the room was spacious for 1 person. The reception is friendly and always smiling although it would be good to know in advance if my single bedroom that I booked for another booking so I didn't have to lugged 2 luggages and my handbag with my laptop into up and down the stairs as there are no lifts. I was surprised that a woman knocked on my door at 9:45am that she was ready to get into my room when in the booking, it says check out is 10am. That made check out a very annoying experience for me. The location is great as it's a short walk to the beach and Cronulla centre.
