My stay at the InterContinental Jeddah (IHG) far exceeded my expectations! The location is absolutely superb, right on the Red Sea coast, and within walking distance of the Corniche. My balcony offered a direct view of King Fahd's Fountain, which was a spectacular sight at night. The room itself was spacious and elegant, with comfortable bedding and excellent cleanliness. The service was professional and warm; both the front desk and concierge were very prompt in their responses. Breakfast was a lavish spread, featuring a great mix of Western, Chinese, and Arabic cuisines. The outdoor pool, gym, and spa facilities are all top-notch. It's truly perfect for both business and leisure travelers – definitely my top choice in Jeddah!

I just wanted a quiet place to relax, but I did not get that. There were a lot of families with lots of children running around, and even in my room I couldn’t sleep at night because I could hear the children in the room next door screaming. The hotel couldn’t move me because they were full. I don’t understand why the rooms aren’t sound isolated for the price we are paying. The pool area was also constantly having kids running around. I was also disappointed that I had to cover up at the pool. All my Saudi friends told me in fancy hotels you can wear bikini so was very disappointed that I had to cover up, The food - I had a club sandwich that was awful, and I payed 75 SAR so I was very disappointed in the taste and quality of those ingredients. However the other meals especially dinner and deserts were very good. The Spa area when I went didn’t have anyone to help me.

The first time I stayed in a hotel, I felt that I bought a brand. Hilton's Waldorf. To be honest, it is obviously cheaper for the shared resources Hilton. Of course, I understand that the brand positioning may be a high level. But the service did not keep up. I basically saw three staff members when I checked in. No one helped pull the luggage. I checked in at a lazy front desk and there was a very unbelievable African door. Because he needs his card to go to the SpA floor to swim, he will also question the guests with permission. Overall, there is no service at all, and it may be that this is super luxurious and cold positioning. The first time I met a hotel without breakfast in 2000➕, I had to go to Hilton for breakfast. I spent three days in this Hotel. The location is good as it is within walking distance to the beach side (note the beach is not swimable) and it’s closed to a few food court and shopping centre. The Hotel had a gym and sauna. Facilities in gym are not well maintained but sauna dan swimming pool are good. Food is not bad for an Indonesian Australian tongue. Service is very good thanks for some staffs that could speak English (mostly Bangladesh). The distance to the airport is around 20-25 minutes so that’s one of the drawbacks. I will recommend this hotel
