Let's start with the positives:
1. The panda-themed family room was clearly thoughtfully designed, with all sorts of toys, a tent, and a slide bed. Our baby didn't even need to go to the kids' club on the basement level; they had a great time right in the room.
2. When we called the front desk for things like adding a bed rail or extra blankets, the response was prompt. Given that it was Dragon Boat Festival and there were many families with kids checking in, this really shows the hotel's room service is on point.
3. The room had an excellent view, with a panoramic sight of Yanqi Lake.
4. After checking in, the hotel provides a parking pass, allowing direct access to Yanqi Island, which was very convenient.
Now for the complaints:
1. Regarding the room layout, the living room area surprisingly only had two power outlets. One was for the coffee machine, and the other was hidden inside the TV cabinet. Charging a phone was impossible in the living room. There were no power outlets near the writing desk either. I really can't fathom how the room was designed.
2. The bathroom faucet took about 20 minutes to get hot water, which was incredibly wasteful.
3. The bathroom's sliding door was broken, and the toilet seat was also damaged. The facilities are quite old.
4. The two beds in the bedroom (one large, one small) were placed side-by-side. After the baby fell asleep, to avoid disturbing them, we had to stay in the living room. However, the sliding door between the living room and bedroom offered very poor sound insulation.
5. The most frustrating thing was the toiletries. I actually found shower gel with a production date of 2024... and the toothbrush was incredibly difficult to use. Overall, the hardware quality was even worse than Atour hotels.
6. We went to the Chinese restaurant on the second floor for dinner, but there were no seats available. We ended up eating in the hallway (Picture 2), which is something I've never encountered in a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, both in the Chinese and buffet restaurants, the staff were generally older and lacked professionalism, making it seem like the hotel doesn't prioritize its F&B services.
7. Parking management was poor. Both the above-ground and underground parking lots were open to anyone without guidance, so people just parked wherever they wanted.
This is my first time writing such a detailed hotel review. All in all, even considering its prime location next to Yanqi Lake and the Dragon Boat Festival price surge, over 3500 a night is just too low value for money.

The room was very clean. Since it was not long after opening, the overall facilities were very new. The bathroom and shower room were separated. It was also very reasonable. It was suitable for families, friends, and travel. There were separate doors and could be closed! ! ! ! This is especially important for friends and families! Avoid the embarrassment of no privacy! ! ! Hand cream tastes very comfortable, not the taste of inferior fragrance. Highly recommended, this price is the best business hotel, in Huairou is really a great hotel! I won't go to Home In the future... This is great.

This newly opened B&B has a cafe and restaurant, and the facilities are excellent. The grounds are clean and tidy, and there's a huge lawn, perfect for pets.
After a stroll around the area, I felt this B&B had the best facilities. It's high-end, well-managed, and completely hotel-level! It's my style, highly recommended!

I went to Yanqi Lake for a meeting. The hotel is close to the conference center. Although it is in the villa area, you can call a taxi to enter the community and park at the door of the hotel. It is convenient. Although the breakfast is simple, it can fill your stomach. It is still good for emergencies. Seeing that the price is similar, I booked a standard room with a larger space. In short, the price-performance ratio is good.

It's a good newly opened hotel, quite clean, and the soundproofing is excellent; I didn't hear any noise from other rooms. The rooms aren't very large, but they're fully equipped. The coffee in the lobby bar on the first floor is quite good. The breakfast selection isn't particularly extensive, but they have freshly cooked noodles, which is decent. Overall, it's a good hotel. The only downside is that the executive lounge isn't open yet, so I couldn't experience it.

The room itself wasn't anything special, clean but not particularly large. However! The service from Xiaozhang and the rest of the staff was excellent, and the cleanliness was top-notch. More importantly, it's really great for families – I think it's even better than Wukuang. The price didn't go up much for the two-day Dragon Boat Festival holiday, and Yanqi Lake is super close by. They have children's play facilities and movie screenings, which makes it easy for adults.
The only downside was the restaurant; besides the coconut chicken, we also ordered beef noodles which I wouldn't recommend.

On ***** New Year's Eve, my family and I checked into the Yanqi Lake View Hotel, marking the first time we didn't spend the holiday at home. The hotel reception staff were incredibly nice; they upgraded us to a suite and provided complimentary breakfast based on our family's needs. The room offered a panoramic view of Yanqi Lake.
Facilities: The swimming pool, children's playground, and gym were all open until 10 PM on ***** New Year's Eve, providing many options for our outings. The suite was well-equipped, featuring a bathtub, two bathrooms (perfectly designed), and two TVs that didn't interfere with each other. The window offered direct lake views. The parking lot had charging stations from TELD, offering both slow and fast charging options.
Dining: The Chinese restaurant offered various set menus for dinner on ***** New Year's Eve. We chose the four-person set menu, saving us the time of preparing our own New Year's Eve dinner. The four-person set menu was also quite generous, including lamb chops, beef, shrimp, and vegetables. Surprisingly, breakfast was still a buffet on the first day of the ***** New Year, with both Chinese and Western options. The elderly and children enjoyed it very much.
Room service: The staff were very nice, proactively providing plenty of water, children's slippers, toothbrushes, and other toiletries.
I would like to express my gratitude to the following staff members: Front Desk: Zheng Jingwen, Wang Baoshi; Housekeeping: Zhen Ping, Wang Xue, Zhou Lifen; Chinese Restaurant: Gu Lanyan, Yao He, Liu Wei.

The hotel is in a great location, just opposite the No. 101 Middle School. Although it is close to the highway, there are few cars. They also gave us a thoughtful reminder before check-in. The room was very clean and the hygiene was very good. The front desk service was very thoughtful and careful. Although we were woken up by the alarm on the morning of the second day of check-in, the housekeeper explained it in a timely manner and gave us many gifts (cleaning and care products, bear towels, key chains, etc.) to express our apology. The children were very happy. We can actually understand that. It was a pleasant stay. We will choose again.

Staying here while driving, the hotel's parking is very convenient. Just remember to grab a parking ticket each time you leave to get free parking. The service is great, and bottled water is replenished promptly.
