Hotels in Yanqi Lake/Hongluo Temple area, Beijing

The service truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give a big thumbs up and thank you! 👍🏻 My child left an Apple Pencil in the hotel room, but we didn't realize it was missing until long after we got home. I called the hotel to inquire, but the room had already been cleaned and new guests had checked in, and the pencil wasn't found. However, the hotel staff went above and beyond, communicating with various departments, re-entering the room, and meticulously searching. They finally found it tucked between the nightstand and the bed! They called me immediately to confirm and shipped it back to me. My child was thrilled to get it back! I'm so grateful for the hotel staff's diligent and thoughtful service, which saved us from a financial loss. While the hotel isn't brand new, the interior decor is clearly well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. It's clean, well-equipped, and the staff are incredibly welcoming. We requested buckwheat pillows and mineral water, and they were promptly delivered to our room after we left a voicemail. Overall, our stay was a fantastic experience!

The room was a bit dated. While the staff were quick to verbally acknowledge requests, actually getting items delivered was very slow, and they often forgot altogether. Initially, the room I entered had an odor. I went downstairs, and the front desk smoothly switched me to a new room that didn't smell. However, that night I discovered the duvet cover was dirty... I called a staff member who said there were no new duvets available, so they could only change the duvet cover. On the second morning, I asked for a disposable bathtub liner. It wasn't delivered all morning... When I asked the front desk, they said they were too busy and even questioned why I didn't call multiple times to ask. Apparently, it was my fault for not hounding them enough.

Our overall stay was great. The guesthouse has a serene and peaceful environment, far from the hustle and bustle. Parking wasn't an issue as we drove; there were plenty of spaces in the courtyard. The front desk staff was very welcoming and proactively offered us a free room upgrade, which was a lovely gesture. The room was clean and airy, with fresh air and an expansive view. The guesthouse's courtyard is well-equipped with a large lawn, a gazebo for relaxing, and a small vegetable garden. There were also cats, bunnies, and ducklings in the yard, which the kids absolutely loved. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all very friendly and provided excellent service. The only downside was the breakfast experience. Upon check-in, the staff asked for our preferred breakfast time, and we assumed the food would be ready accordingly. However, when we arrived at the agreed-upon time, there were mostly just scraps left, which significantly detracted from the experience. We hope the guesthouse can improve its breakfast service by ensuring food is kept warm and served on time. Aside from breakfast, everything else was very satisfactory.

Marriott has always been my top choice for travel due to its excellent facilities, well-designed layout, and warm, polite service. However, my recent stay at the Beijing Mutianyu Marriott, and especially the professionalism and enthusiasm of front desk staff member Echo, elevated my appreciation for the Marriott brand to a new level. The lobby of the Beijing Mutianyu Marriott is grand, and the greeting staff are very courteous. The rooms are well-designed, spacious, and comfortable, and the breakfast is extensive. The hospitality is outstanding. But it was front desk staff member Echo, who, from the very first moment we checked in, provided meticulous care, concern, and thoughtful arrangements, truly making us feel the happiness of being home away from home! Thank you, Marriott, and thank you, Echo.

Finally checked into Yanqi Hotel, nestled on the Yanqi Peninsula. The views of the lake and mountains right outside the window, coupled with the tranquil and healing Chinese garden scenery, make it an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway in the Beijing suburbs. The hotel's facilities and breakfast quality were also top-notch. What truly stood out was the staff member Shirley. Her service was attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. She proactively introduced us to the park's touring routes and promptly helped us coordinate and resolve various needs during our check-in. Her professional and appropriate approach, with just the right amount of care, never made us feel constrained. It's this kind of warm and considerate service that made our trip exceptionally comfortable. A sincere thank you to Shirley; we'll definitely be back.

Our whole family chose this hotel for our trip to Huairou, and we were very satisfied with the overall experience. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was meticulously done. The facilities are brand new and work perfectly. The staff were friendly and responsive to our needs. The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to travel to nearby attractions, and it's a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. The rooms were very comfortable, making it ideal for a short family getaway. Overall, it's well-balanced in all aspects, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Huairou.

The hotel is in a great location, just opposite the No. 101 Middle School. Although it is close to the highway, there are few cars. They also gave us a thoughtful reminder before check-in. The room was very clean and the hygiene was very good. The front desk service was very thoughtful and careful. Although we were woken up by the alarm on the morning of the second day of check-in, the housekeeper explained it in a timely manner and gave us many gifts (cleaning and care products, bear towels, key chains, etc.) to express our apology. The children were very happy. We can actually understand that. It was a pleasant stay. We will choose again.

This hotel is truly excellent, especially for its beautiful views. The pool is nice, though the water temperature was a bit on the cool side. Staying in a lake view room offers great scenery, and families with young children should definitely opt for a room with a crib. We really loved the views here, and we're planning to come back next time without our granddaughter, just the two of us to relax quietly. On another note, we waited over twenty minutes to check in. The front desk staff gave me the impression of being composed yet somewhat unhurried.

The front desk service was very good. We arrived early in the morning and they helped us grab a room. They also sent us breakfast, which was not bad, with a strong soy milk flavor. The customer service environment was very good, the rooms were large, but there was a dripping sound in the toilet in one room, and the master couldn't fix it after a long time. The hotel's external environment is like a small garden, and there is a small hillside for viewing. The farmhouse at the intersection of the lightning-proof hotel is the worst grilled rainbow trout I have ever eaten in Huairou.

The room was very clean. Since it hasn't been open long, all the facilities are new. The separate toilet and shower room are very practical and suitable for families, friends, or travelers. Each room has its own door that can be closed! This is especially important for friends and families, eliminating any awkwardness about lack of privacy! The hand cream smelled wonderful, not like cheap artificial fragrances. Highly recommended! For this price, it's the best business hotel I've ever stayed at. It's truly a fantastic hotel in Huairou! I won't go to Home Inns again… this is amazing.
