I have to give a huge shout-out to Hanna at the front desk! I booked a ”pay-at-the-property” room this time and was a bit worried about a complicated payment process. But Hanna was super efficient, sending a QR code for payment right away and guiding me through it. The whole thing took less than two minutes. To top it off, she proactively upgraded our room for free, and we found a welcome fruit platter waiting for us as soon as we entered – instantly putting us in a vacation mood. After checking out, I contacted her to get an invoice, and she responded incredibly quickly, no delays at all. The entire experience was simply seamless. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in this city, all thanks to front desk staff like her who deserve repeat business!

Although this hotel is an older state-owned establishment with a very Chinese-style decor, much like a traditional state guesthouse, every detail is meticulously maintained. It's clean and tidy, without the rundown feel often found in other older state-owned places; everything is well-considered. The rooms are spotless, the service is excellent, and you can feel the dedication in every aspect.

The transportation nearby is incredibly convenient, very close to the 3rd Ring Road, right next to Beijing Foreign Studies University. Recommended!

The environment here is really good, and the location is excellent, right near Jiaotong University, just off the Second Ring Road. It offers great value for money! There's a shopping mall and a subway station nearby, and taxis are easily accessible. The lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful; she even upgraded our room when we checked in, which we really appreciate. The hotel facilities are also very comprehensive. I truly highly recommend it!

There are also waffles, mini buns, whole wheat toast, and a variety of exquisite pastries, offering a plentiful array of Western baked goods to suit all tastes. The buffet spread is beautifully presented, and the floral arrangements create an elegant dining atmosphere. The ingredients are fresh, and items are replenished promptly. With options ranging from healthy light bites to sweet treats and main dishes, whether you're traveling for business or with family, you're sure to enjoy a comfortable and satisfying meal. I highly recommend the stay experience!

After an uncomfortable stay at the neighboring Xiyuan Hotel last time, I decided to switch to this one for my business trip. The facilities here are really excellent, especially the gym, which is surprisingly well-equipped. However, the service at this old Beijing hotel is still a clear weakness. First, checking in was inexplicably slow; there was always a wait. Second, I wonder if the gym reception staff receive any training at all. They actually asked me if I had the original packaging for my hotel room card! Who carries their room card with its packaging these days? They even had to call the front desk to verify. It's the 26th year of the 21st century, is management really this outdated? Can't they implement a networked system for verification? Finally, room cleaning management is also a mess. On my first day, I was woken up right after checking in and getting ready to sleep. Don't they keep records of whether a room has been cleaned in the morning? On the second day, I was woken up again around noon; they insisted on knocking to clean the room before 1 PM. I was speechless.

I was very satisfied with my stay at the Ji Hotel (Beijing Institute of Technology Weigongcun Subway Station). The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Weigongcun subway station, making travel incredibly convenient. The room was clean and odor-free, the furnishings and facilities were well-maintained, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly at night. The self-service laundry room was very practical, and the front desk service was attentive and responsive. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making everyday life easy. It's suitable for both business trips and visiting relatives. I will definitely visit again.

How do I put it? It's just a regular motel. Anyway, accommodation in Beijing is expensive, so don't expect too much for this price. It's fine for a night's sleep and resting your legs. It's very close to Beijing North Station, so you can choose this place if you're going to Badaling Great Wall. You can walk to Beijing North Station, and it's only a half-hour drive to Badaling Great Wall!
