Really nice hotel! It’s located in Chadao Ancient Village next to Badaling! The walk to the free shuttle bus to the Great Wall is nice, takes about 10 minutes. The village is beautiful, so many family run b&bs around. At nights, there are lots of bbq places to choose from. You can also order from a fried chicken place! There are a few little shops in the village. They don’t speak English, but they can add you on wechat! They helped me find a place for a covid test & told me how to get the Great Wall! The room was a nice, the bed was ok. The room was a little dirty! The pool was only for certain rooms.

The hotel is in a prime location. It takes ten minutes by taxi to Yanqing Station, which is five or six kilometers away. It is 1.8 kilometers to Wanda. It is faster to take a taxi. They say that don't have it, but yet they do put it into their lobby vending machines to charge you for them. I hope they can either provide proper selection in their minibar or remove any mention of it having various drinks to stop misleading those who love little perks like this. Other than that it is a high-quality hotel that is well-built, provides great comfort, and in all other matters staff was more caring. The room was gorgeous, with great design, tech, and view. Thumbs up for that.
