Kurfürst am Kurfürstendamm

The hotel is close to Kurfürstendamm, 2 minutes walk to the bus stop, 10 minutes walk to the subway station, and 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, which is very convenient. The room is spacious, the old building has been renovated, the internal facilities are very complete, and the sanitation is also very good. The reception staff is very enthusiastic and can communicate in English and German. The price will be relatively favorable if you book in advance, and the hotel is very cost-effective.

No ascensore. Al portone principale mancava la maniglia, non è sicuro, essendo anche un luogo molto frequentato… Check-in e check-out veloci, possibile lasciare i bagagli dopo il check out per qualche ora in attesa della partenza verso l’aereo.

Antique furniture, time has stood still here

Nicely located hotel. A little worn, but clean. Breakfast was perfectly fine, but the service did not start until some time after it was supposed to be ready at 0730. The lift is so small that there was no room for Klaus... 65 steps can be demanding, but provides good exercise.

I stayed here in May. It seems that part of an old building has been renovated into a hotel, and after checking in and receiving the key, you can enter and exit the hotel without going through the reception, just like you would in an apartment building. The room I stayed in was on the 5th floor, but the elevator only went up to the 4th floor, so I had to use the stairs, which was a bit of a downside, but thanks to that I was able to stay in a quiet room with a good view. There was a refrigerator so I was able to cool water, drinks, fruit, etc. The amenities were minimal. There was only the shared shampoo and body soap type, which is common in Germany, so if you are concerned about that, it would be better to bring your own. Breakfast was charged separately, so I did not use it. There is a supermarket and bakery nearby, so I bought breakfast there. The nearest S-Bahn station is Savignyplatz, but there are frequent buses on Ku'dammstrasse, which is right next to the hotel, so it is also fun to travel by bus. If you don't want the comfort of a new hotel, I think this hotel has a good location and value for money.
