The most significant deciding factor for this wintery getaway was the indoor pool and waterslide, which was truly surprising. I have never seen a hotel with not only a waterslide but two that turn and twist on the outside. This place was extremely popular all the time for this reason alone. The pool area should be regulated, as there is a lot going on with the pool, jacuzzi and waterslides. The pool water was freezing cold, and no one (besides kids) wanted to go in. The location was convenient to gas, restaurants and easy access to the road and interstate. The breakfast bar was well stocked and maintained.

Maintenance has gone by the wayside. Broken bathroom tiles, tiles that are loose and move when you step on them, towels with holes, shampoo dispenser torn off the wall to name a few things. Then breakfast on Saturday morning: sausage, potatoes and French toast strips...no fruit, no eggs, nothing for people that are either pork free or gluten free.

Hotel was fair. Rooms were dated, but appeared to be clean. Digital key did not work (in many of the guest's doors). Key card had to be inserted multiple times for it to work, and at one time, the battery had to be replaced because it locked me out. Staff was mostly friendly with the exception of one front desk person (he was alone and on the phone for 15 minutes, making people trying to check out wait. Didn't acknowledge any of us at the desk). Food (breakfast) was horrifically disappointing. Mostly just plain bad! The milk was even outdated for cereal and had to be pulled. They then only offered almond milk on one morning. On Sunday, they ran out of hot food and milk altogether, so because they had no milk or almond milk, they pulled the cereal as well!

This was our third time staying at this hotel, and we were glad to see that it is now entirely non-smoking. The front desk was very accommodating to our needs at check-in. Our room was clean and nicely laid out. Unfortunately, we were awakened at 3 AM by dogs barking in room next door, and they continued to bark until morning. The next day dog dander in the hall triggered my allergies. My request to hotel management: if you're going to permit dogs to stay in guest rooms, please designate a specific area or floor for dog-friendly rooms and soundproof that area. For what we paid to stay here, a quiet night is not too much to ask.

I received the good quality I expected. The usual breakfast except they didn't have eggs the first morning I was there. No problem since I didn't want eggs. The room was clean and ready. The wifi would not connect to my computer properly and I had to go to a coffee house in Mocksville to connect. This is my only complaint

This is exactly what I needed for one night. So helpful and relaxing. So comfortable. It was like being at home only better. I had some medical tests to be done at the hospital the next day. And this was so convenient for my needs

This Hampton Inn was probably the best Hampton Inn I have stayed at. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made the extra effort to make me and my wife feel welcomed. The room was very clean and in excellent condition. The AC unit was quieter than most hotel units. Overall a great place to stay.

This hotel is adequate, but shows a lot of wear and tear and could use repairs. The staff was very friendly. Our room had stained, torn curtains and many areas of chipped paint. Digital check in did not work and we had to check in at the front desk.

Asked numerous times to have sheets replaced (there was a disgusting brown stain on the sheets when we checked in). Hotel confirmed sheets changed. When we returned to room, same sheet were on bed. When I asked to have them replaced, I was told by the front desk that the cleaning staff had left, and that could try searching through the halls on all the floors, and MAYBE I could find someone still left and ask them to change the sheets. I was stunned with the response. Needless to say, my sheets were never changed during our 4 day stay. Our family instead had to cram into one of the double beds. There also were towel shortages, and overall poor cleaning service. Lastly, we found out on our second day that a few of the rooms had a bed bug infestation while we were there. Will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
