On the Rhein . Pretty central, walking distance from the station, very nice staff, luggage storage on arrival and departure. Beautiful clean cared for hotel. Breakfast buffet offered everything , fresh honey, smoked fish, hot, cold dishes , fruit I could go on . The swimming pool was perfect and our stay coincided with the wine fest. Wonderful local wines. The train to the top of the drachenfels stupendous and views that are wonderful. All helped along by beautiful weather. The conference hotel Seminaris in Bad Honnef was built in 1986 and offers 211 rooms over 5 floors. There are 18 large meeting rooms, restaurant, bar, swimming pool and sauna. Staffs are friendly and welcoming. In the lobby of the hotel there is a stele of a mounted Roman soldier. At walking distance you find the Rhine River and the Drachsenfels where Siegfried – the hero of the Nibelungen – killed the dragon Fáfnir. Our room was adequately furnished and decorated with desk, chair & safe, flat-screen TV and wardrobe. We had a good twin bed, and a separate bathroom with toilet, washroom & shower. All was clean. The window can be open but has no mosquito screen. Free Wi-Fi Internet. No free coffee & tea nor free parking. The buffet breakfast is OK with ample variety: powder based scrambled eggs, cold cuts, bread and rolls, juices, cereals, fruit, milk, yoghurt, fruit juice, tea & coffee. The atmosphere in the Seminaris hotel is conference & business style and we had an OK stay.

Not the easiest place to find, but nicely situated in a quiet location outside of the main city area, with plenty of parking space. Friendly welcome at reception and easy check-in. Room was large and very clean. A lovely shower with plenty of water pressure. There was no bar service the night we stayed, but it was possible to get a drink with dinner. Food was good, but service rather slow.... very long delay between first and main courses and prices rather on the high side. Skipped breakfast, as it's hard to imagine what can justify a charge of 24euro a head to partake. Overall a good stay though, with friendly service and a good night's sleep.

This modern hotel backs on to Bonn main railway station, a few minutes walk from the tourist sites in the centre of town, and on the edge of a lovely historic residential district which includes the botanic gardens which are well worth visiting. There is a ”green” supermarket next door to the hotel, and a good bakery across the road. So an excellent location overall. Rooms are quite spacious, beds comfortable, large TV. No coffee making facilities. One gets a Bonn travel card for the duration of one's stay: which is a nice addition. The one significant downside is that one does hear quite a bit of noise from the trains and the station. More than in some other hotels we have stayed in that back on to railway stations. My partner slept well, I did not. Freight trains went past every 15 minutes or so throughout the night. Bizarrely, when I had asked on the first day about a possible room change to the road side of the building (10 euros more, to *business class”) I was told there were no trains at night! Would I stay again if visiting Bonn? Probably yes. I would try the rooms on the road side.

The location of the hotel is good, there are matching business districts around, eating is also more convenient, very recommended. The parking lot is 26 a day, if you go out halfway, you need to pay separately to recalculate, a bit expensive. There is a Longbao not far from the car is very worth seeing.

Lovely position on the Ufer ..river bank ...with car parking( extra charge) within easy walk from town centre for restraunts etc .Excellent breakfast . Rooms are a bit quirky with regard to decor but comfortable and well appointed. There is a roof top bar with great view of the river

The moment the door was opened, there was a wow sound, great! It is recommended to add 25 Euros to upgrade the suite (with kitchen) due to bringing children. The extra bed is a double bed spread out by a double sofa, super stable! The child had a fever originally scheduled to check out at 11 o'clock, the front desk was very user-friendly and added two hours to check out at 13 o'clock. Later, I went to rest on the sofa in the lobby and was greeted and helped by the managers (to take medicine to help ask the doctor). The hotel is 10 minutes away from the cathedral and Beethoven’s house and 7 minutes away from the railway station. 15 minutes from the University of Bonn. Did not take a taxi on this day. There is parking lot. Breakfast is relatively simple.

The hotel ” Acora Bonn - Living the City ” is an extra-class hotel, once something quite different from traditional hotels that you are usually used to. On the house facade is the text read. Acora - Hotel and accommodation. ” This hotel we haven't yet met ... This three-storey hotel is compared to a residence where the entire living environment consists of a family house. Here in the Acora Hotel you can make a short holiday or even stay for a longer time. Montage workers seem to live here for a longer time...We have found here only young people ... For us, the holidaymakers, stay with breakfast is offered, what has been enough for us too. A deep garage is available and costs € 4 per day. The city area where the hotel is found is called Bonn - Tannenbusch, and is about 4 kilometres from the centre of Bonn. The motorway access is not far from the hotel...There is also the metro stop Bonn-Tannenbusch. Therefore the hotel is actually centrally located. We, were satisfied with the service as it was offered here. The only lack is that there is no seat in this building complex. We were satisfied guests. Rooms, breakfast, service and the price were good. Only the missing seat was a problem for us. Three floors with baggage that was too tough for me. From there we will probably not come back ... Who doesn't care about the missing chair, will find a priced alternative to the costly accommodation prices in Bonn for a hotel in Arcora Hotel. What I felt very good was in the staircase, on both sides of the stairs and climbs, the double handle that was present at the staircase as on the wall. Young people may not appreciate that we a little older, this device was found very useful and helpful ...

The following was absolutely resplendent: - the room the breakfast (really sublime) the staff the cleanliness availability of an iron & an ironing board the pool the slides close to Siegburg The only slight 'blemishes' were, access to the seltzer/water dispenser, outside breakfast & that a refrigerator was not available, within the room.

Our honeymoon trip took us here for the first night. We wanted to stop in Cologne to see some sights the next morning, This was a perfect location just off the motorway, and only 20 minutes back in to Cologne. When we arrived, the staff member that saw us in was pleasant, satisfactory English, but seemed to lack any personality, like she was bored. The restaurant in the hotel was closed when we arrived, when we queried this, we were told its a breakfast only facility. I asked for some recommendations for the local area to get some dinner, I was handed an A4 sheet with multiple eateries. My Wife and I like to read some reviews before going, and found only a couple out of the whole list was on Google or Trip Advisor, so not the most helpful. OK if your not bothered though. Dimitri Grill up the road, about 20 minute walk, I highly recommend this place! (Reviewed separately) The room was pleasant, odd shape, clean and comfortable. It had a safe, sofa and chairs, bed was hard, which was nice. The shower was amazing, could have stayed in there all day. The room however was only made up for one person, we had to call down to get more bedding and towels. These turned out to be single duvets only. The hotel don't stock double or king, only singles. There was a coffee and tea facilities however the kettle is only useable under the wall mounted TV, so the steam and heat goes in to the TV, the coffee was not nice at all, and again was only made up to be enough for one. Car park was odd, its free to get in with a barrier that goes up automatically when you move towards it, however to get you need a token from reception to leave. The staff did remind us of this, however there was no check on if we were guests or not. If your a light sleeper due to light, take an eye mask as the curtains are as thin as cotton. If your looking for a pamper, or some fluffy stuff, this is not the hotel. This is purely a business hotel, or a bed and go kind of hotel.
