The greeting on arrival is the friendliest I’ve ever experienced and I’ve travelled a lot ! Great location for the o2 academy as we were at a gig Literally 5 minute walk. So easy Free parking a bonus. Clean and tidy Only stayed the one night but can’t fault it. Areal friendly place

First of all Pam and Alan are lovely especially Pam nothing is too much trouble She is very helpful and friendly Unfortunately the hotel isn’t what it is ,it needs a really good makeover to bring it up to the standed that it needs We had no toilet water or sink water at around 11:30pm one night ,but came back on in the morning .The bed was very comfy and once u new how to work the shower it was good but the bathroom was small Good thing also that u was near the beach We won’t be staying again in Boscombe it’s not for us Pam u are lovely Keep up your great work

Amazing and lovely hotel, staff super nice, very quiet and clean place, 5 minutes walking to the beach and 7 min walking to the shopping area. Really nice place. Alan and Linda lovely staff. I can’t wait for come back

The most dog friendly hotel ever! Our spaniel Lily was treated like a princess and if she had her way she would stay here every weekend. She had treats and toys delivered to the room plus extra towels for the beach. The proprietors Alan and Pam were fabulous and made us feel so welcome, it was lovely. Hotel itself was a bit old and tired but so clean! Everything was sparkling. We were in Room 16 which was an enormous family room with a super king and a single bed. Never seen such a clean kettle!! Fridge in the room which was great, especially as they aren’t offering breakfast at the moment. Be warned, our room was quite a trek and up a very steep staircase so if you have mobility issues I would mention this when booking. Location wise it was perfect. Straight down the hill to Boscombe Pier. The beach isn’t dog friendly in this area so you will need to walk a bit in either direction (recommend going left towards Fisherman’s Walk, Southbourne). A lovely stay and we will happily return. Thank you Alan and Pam.

Wonderful host nothing is too much trouble. Perfectly located for sea front or the town centre plus regular bus service close by. Rooms are comfortable and practical with coffee and tea facilities in the room and a fridege as well. I will definitely be back.

I will start with the positives, the room was big, clean and the bed was comfortable which is what you want in a b&b. When I arrived, I had a lovely welcome from the owner who checked me in straight away and showed me to my room. The b&b is perfectly located for the seafront as it is just a short walk away. However, if you struggle with mobility like myself it is very hilly. I found this a major issue. When I booked up I checked the reviews and saw they served a good breakfast, however I later found out breakfast was not an option. This would have been a deal breaker for me, but as I had already paid I went with it. I got absolutely ripped off when I went out for breakfast. £15 for a basic full English and a coffee, plus I was charged £5.00 service charge so be aware of this when looking for somewhere to eat. Back to the room…. There was a kettle to make a drink, tea and coffee and milk, however there was not much milk at all and if you wanted more you could get this from reception AT AN EXTRA CHARGE!! Granted, the charge wasn’t much BUT if like me you expect this in the price of your room it will come as a bit of a shock. There was a TV in the room, personally I never had this on, but it was mounted on the wall and looked wobbly and not very secure. There was only 2 plug sockets in the whole room, which when there’s a couple of you is an absolute nightmare! Trying to put life into our phones while also boiling a kettle and have the fan going (woman of a certain age so found the room very hot) was difficult to say the least. Another point which I found the most concerning, this b&b is big!! And what really concerned me is I was not shown the fire escape. This for me was a massive massive concern and definitely something I think the owners should pick up on. None the less, I had an enjoyable time in Bournemouth. Would I stay at this particular b&b again, probably not in all honesty, but if your okay with hills, and going out for breakfast then I would say fill ya boots!

Visited with friends and we had two rooms. Great little hotel, perfect location to walk down to Boscombe pier and then walk along to Bournemouth. Had car parking (free) which was great. Rooms very clean and tidy. We had rooms 1 & 2 and they were a very good size, really comfy beds and towels supplied with a small shower gel and soap each. Good coffee, tea facilities. Great welcome from the owner on arrival who gave us information on what we could do whilst in the area, had recommendations of restaurants and places to eat breakfast. Really good value for money at this hotel and if we are going to Bournemouth again this will definitely be the first hotel we try to book.

My girlfriend and I were warmly welcomed on arrival and were shown to our room (No 1) on the first floor which was extremely spacious with a large bathroom and possessed a table where we could sit in the Morning and enjoy the cereals that we had brought with us and on this subject it was a welcome bonus that a fridge was provided. All parts of the property were clean and tidy with the Reception area having an abundance of information regarding local places of interest and the transport options available. The location of the Hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the Beach and has free car parking.

Great value for money, large room and bathroom (room 1) cleaned every day and fresh towels, comfy bed and friendly owner. Also plenty of free parking. Ideal for O2 academy Bournemouth just a 5 minute walls straight up the road. Would recommend and stay again
