Guest UserThis is an excellent hotel with a fantastic stay experience! I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff Saly for her amazing service. She was extremely patient in answering all my questions during the check-in process and kindly arranged a room upgrade for me, which made my stay even more comfortable. The upgraded room is clean, spacious and has a great view. The hotel's facilities are well-maintained and the location is convenient. Thanks to Saly's thoughtful service, this trip was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again!

Guest UserThis place is considered very good for an overseas destination, highly recommended. The surrounding environment is excellent, but there aren't many dining options.

eee999The location is pretty good; it's within walking distance to the Central Station, although the uphill walk might be a bit tiring with heavy luggage. The front desk service was excellent, and the Hong Kong gentleman who helped us made communication very smooth. We stayed in an accessible twin room, which was quite spacious, but the showerhead in the bathroom was old and had tape wrapped around a damaged connection. Since we had an early flight the next morning and couldn't make breakfast, the front desk kindly provided us with packed milk and cereal. Overall, it offers good value for money!

My Worst Experience at a W Hotel to Date
I have stayed at various W properties, but my recent one-night stay at W Brisbane was easily my most disappointing experience with the brand. For a hotel that prides itself on design and luxury, the functional execution of the room was severely lacking.
There were several significant issues that made for a very uncomfortable night:
Poor Room Design: The air conditioning is positioned in a way that it blew directly onto my face all night. It was impossible to deflect, and I had to sleep on the other end of the bed. Then I had another issue below.
Disruptive Noise: The in-room refrigerator was close the the bed and making distracting noises throughout the night that made it difficult to sleep.
Between the mechanical noise and the poorly placed AC, I barely got any rest.
Maintenance & Cleanliness: after I woke up in the morning, I was shocked to find a visible hole in the bed sheets. This is not the level of quality control one expects from a five-star establishment. And the bath tub has visible torn and wears. Also the motel level toothbrush.
Service: there was no staff at the door helped me and my 70 yo mom with our luggages. I hvae to acknowledge that we arrived quite late but I did expect quality service from a lux hotel. And also no free upgrade offered like my stays with other W.
Honestly, I am just glad my stay was only for one night. I expected much better from the W brand and won't be rushing back to this particular location.

KennyNZService: The front desk staff were very welcoming and tried their best to accommodate my needs.
Environment: Located in Brisbane city center, King George Square is just across the street, and the pedestrian street is a bit further. It's about a 400-meter walk to Brisbane Central Station, and two blocks to the Queen Street Bus Station (it's underground, so you need to take stairs).
Cleanliness: It was relatively clean, but the carpet was a bit dusty.
Facilities: The elevators are a bit old but mostly functional. All the room's appliances work, and the central air conditioning is powerful.

Stevie BBFirst time I've stayed here. I was aware of the mixed reviews & I've stayed at other hotels in Chermie but they were booked out on this occasion. It was raining heavily when I arrived so appreciated the undercover parking spaces immediately outside the reception. Check-in was seamless (thx Trip.com) & they didn't require a security deposit or CC scan so my customer trust box was ticked :-) The car park is secure & at ground level but spaces are limited; I was able to find a spot though at 4pm. There is public parking out on the street without restriction after 5pm. I had a Hotel Queen Room on the 2nd floor. Easy access via lift and the common areas were clean & well lit. The room and bathroom were clean with a pleasant aroma & no smell of mould (reported by others), air-con was on. I had a choice of two sliding doors to access the balcony so good for fresh air (but no insect screen). Overall, the room was comfortable whilst showing some signs of wear & tear. The shower had a choice of either hand-held or fixed head (rainforest type) & had plenty of pressure - great. I would recommend bringing your own toiletries, unless you're happy with generic multi-function liquid soap! The fridge was empty except for a small uht milk with no complimentary springwater or mini-bar that you might find in other hotels. There was TV, tea/coffee making supplies and a small microwave. If you like to sleep in complete darkness (like me), bring an eye-mask as the hallway lighting outside the room is bright & on all night, creating an aura around the front door that is hard not to notice. The area was relatively quiet with the hotel located on a side street. It's an easy & short walk to a major shopping centre and the bus station if you need to head into Briz City, which is a 20-30min ride away & only $0.50 fare - awesome. Breakfast (from 7am) was also included but I had to head-off early so wasn't able to grab a bite this time. In summary, I felt that the room rate was appropriate and score my overall experience as good.

Guest UserI booked on the day we arrived as I needed accommodation close to Northshore Eat Street. Saw reviews about access issues so I called before booking and was advised access info is sent at 2pm. We had no problems with online booking and receiving access code.
Room was good value for money with balcony, plenty of free parking and wifi.
Would definitely book again if I need accommodation close to airport.
