"Arriving after 5pm on a Thursday, I followed the explicit directions provided by Ascot management. There was a short walk (150 meters at most) to my room but the directions provided ensured that I was in my room in quick order. The fellow on the desk was able to assist with directions to fine dining close by and in the morning assisted again with directions to the train getting me to the airport easily on time. It's a well kept, conveniently located accommodation. I'll stay again next time in Brisbane."

"It was about a 10-15 minute walk from the Central Station! The kitchen utensils, such as plates, cups, and knives, were all there, but they weren't very clean, so I recommend washing them before use. Housekeeping doesn't come into the room, so I had to borrow fresh towels from the front desk every day. Also, the front desk is often very crowded because there are only one or two staff members working."
