Negative sides (unfortunately, they are more and they outweigh): 1. Disastrophically bad settlement organization. At official settlement time from 12:00, by 15:00, none of the three rooms we booked were ready. This is absolutely unacceptable for a hotel accommodating itself at a ”not small” price. 2. Low cleaning quality. The first floor room in the corridor and bathroom was found hair and dust. The second and third floor rooms stable smell of cigarette smoke. Cleanliness – Basic requirement that was not met. 3. The complete lack of service culture and apologies. Not with delay in settlement, not with deficiencies in cleaning, no sincere apology has been received from staff, nor attempts to correct the situation promptly and fully. The guests actually quit to solve the problems themselves. 4. Price and quality discrepancies. Given the cost of living according to the Hunchun standards, the level of service and the attention to the guest has been extremely low. Summary: Orange Hotel – is an example of an excellent idea destroyed at the execution and management stage. Beautiful design and good breakfasts cannot compensate for dirt in rooms, tobacco smell and full indifference of staff to the comfort of tired guests after the road. The impression was completely spoiled. The hotel is recommended with a huge reservation and only for those who are willing to accept such attitude. Until the standards of service and purity change dramatically, there is no desire to return here.

The hotel is located next to Happy Island, just across a bridge. Many parents bring their children here for easy access to the playground! The environment is pretty good and very new. It is in the same building as Jifeng Hotel. They are the same hotel! It's just divided into several floors, and the rooms at Rujia are very new!

If you're coming to Hunchun, you absolutely *must* stay at the Minzu Garden International Hotel. It's incredibly beautiful and perfect for taking photos. Guests staying on the first floor can rent traditional costumes for free, and each one is clean and stunning. From check-in to check-out, the (domestic) staff were incredibly enthusiastic, helping us with our luggage. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with lots of Korean ethnic dishes like doenjang jjigae, tteok, and dolsot bibimbap. We stayed for two days, and the menu was different each day. The back of the hotel has a large garden villa area, which is the best spot for photos. The rooms are spacious, and they provide complimentary fruit, VC drinks, and snacks daily. They even gave us steam eye masks. They really think of everything to cater to guests' needs. We were originally very satisfied, but there was a minor incident. We didn't realize that some of the reception staff were from North Korea. My family saw a staff member wearing traditional clothing and thought she looked lovely, so they went up to take a photo. She immediately gave a cold glare and walked away, which startled us and made us feel very awkward. Later, a domestic staff member explained that they aren't allowed to be photographed. However, in the service industry, it's hard to avoid guests wanting to take pictures, especially since they perform in various places – piano, guzheng. This made us hesitant to even take out our phones to record anything later on, making us feel quite on edge. When you're on vacation and looking to relax and have fun, the presence of North Korean staff made the whole atmosphere less relaxed. We're not sure what the reasoning is, but as tourists, our experience wasn't great. Because of this, I can't give a perfect score. If they are always there, then we can only not understand but respect it.

The location is near Xishi Market, and there's a morning market right downstairs. It's too cold now, so many stalls in the morning market aren't open! But there are plenty of food delivery options nearby, making it super convenient for meals! They even have 700cc and Luckin Coffee! Plus, all those local specialties like Da Cha Zhou (corn porridge) are available.
