Amazing
AAolifudaxiaojieReally liked it. I stayed in a villa for 1400 [currency, presumably local like IDR], and while it wasn't huge, it was beautiful and even came with a floating breakfast. Overall, the breakfast can't compare to Ayana's, but the accommodation offers good value for money. The laundry service was quick; my clothes were washed and returned to the room within three or four hours. Food deliveries aren't allowed in, so you have to pick them up yourself at the main entrance. The spa was just okay, more expensive than Canggu's and the technique wasn't as good. If you're just looking for a place to stay, I'd definitely recommend it.
Jjenney82The hotel is new and nestled on a hill, overlooking the seafood street. It's perfect for a relaxing stay before heading home, just kicking back and enjoying the hotel facilities.
**Facilities:** There are three swimming pools, two restaurants, a gym, yoga classes, sea bikes, snorkeling... plenty of free activities and the paid options are also great value.
**Service:** The staff are enthusiastic, but their answers varied quite a bit. For example, regarding the pool opening and closing times, different staff members gave different information, making it confusing to know what was accurate.
**Food:** The breakfast buffet offers excellent value for money. For lunch and dinner, the à la carte options are also very good, with decent portions and great taste.
**Room:** Our room was dry, comfortable, and bright, with a balcony. Every room has a great view and is very quiet. I particularly liked that the toilet and shower were separate. The bedding was comfortable, and there were plenty of power outlets, so no need for an adapter.
The hotel also boasts beautiful scenery. I'd definitely stay here again!
KKoiproMy stay at the Crowne Plaza Labuan Bajo was absolutely perfect! As an IHG hotel, the quality was reassuringly excellent. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the airport, and the complimentary airport shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. The pool is definitely a highlight; relaxing by the hotel pool in the afternoon was incredibly enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, the bedding was soft, and the facilities were new and well-maintained. The breakfast was lavish, offering both local specialties and international dishes. The restaurant and front desk staff were all warm and attentive. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Komodo, highly recommended!
GGuest UserPros:
1. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and provided excellent service.
2. There's a private snorkeling area, which was a great experience, especially since we didn't book a liveaboard.
Cons:
1. No internet, no internet, no internet! Apart from a few rooms on the hilltop, most rooms have extremely poor mobile signal (you can barely receive messages). WiFi is only available at the front desk. The management's excuse is that they ”don't want external noise to disturb guests,” but it's one thing if I have it and choose not to use it, and quite another if I need it and it's not available. If you need to stay consistently connected, this hotel is definitely not for you.
2. Prices are quite high. Since it's on a private island, a slight markup is understandable, but sometimes the prices are ridiculously high. For example, the hotel organized a beach buffet for 700k Indonesian Rupiah, which is about 300+ RMB after tax. The seafood options were only grilled shrimp, squid, and fish (the first two were served very slowly), and the only meat was grilled chicken skewers. In contrast, on the main island, we bought two large lobsters, two mantis shrimp as thick as a woman's arm, and even got two free squids, all for just over 700 RMB.
AAlex wangailongOur original plan was to stay at this hotel, but an unexpected storm caused our boat to be cancelled, preventing us from reaching the island on time. While we were anxious, the hotel's customer service proactively reached out to us. Not only did they express sincere concern, but they also surprisingly arranged complimentary accommodation for us at a partner hotel on the main island until the weather improved and ferry services resumed.
Even though we couldn't check in as planned, their handling and service throughout the process were exemplary. They consistently communicated patiently, actively coordinated, and did their best to alleviate our inconvenience and anxiety. This genuine customer-centric approach left a far deeper impression than a smooth check-in ever could.
Although the weather left us with a slight regret, it also allowed us to personally experience the hotel's unexpected level of responsibility and attentiveness. This crisis management capability and sincerity alone are enough to make us confident in their service quality. We will definitely find another opportunity to experience the hotel's charms firsthand next time!
AAnonymous UserThe room was very clean. The only inconvenience was the lack of an elevator, but the staff were helpful with luggage. There were some caterpillars in the hallway, possibly due to the season. Soundproofing was average, but I was so tired from sightseeing that I slept soundly. It's very close to the airport, just a 2-minute drive, and the hotel can arrange a taxi. It's quiet as it's set back from the main street, and you can easily get a Grab motorbike when you head out.
AAndreaSem76Amazing resort, placed in a peaceful place without any noise, only the sound of birds and the monkeys that play and eat in the fruits tree. The staffs is very kind and friendly, ready to satisfy every your needs. Beautiful the restaurant that cook yummy dishes every day for lunch and dinner. Various and generous the breakfast. The room, I took Mountain View with private pool is simply amazing. All forniture are new and the room is wide and in a great position.
DDmitriiOAn excellent hotel where everything is thoughtfully arranged for a comfortable stay. The rooms and the entire property were very clean and well-maintained — everything looked neat and pleasant. The water in the shower was always running well, and there was consistently hot water, which is especially appreciated after a long day.
A special thanks to the staff: kind, smiling, and always ready to help — you can really feel that they care. We were especially impressed that they prepared breakfast earlier than usual for us because of our early tours — a small gesture, but it says a lot about their attention to guests.
At night, it was quiet and peaceful, nothing disturbed our sleep, and the room had a cozy atmosphere. The grounds are beautiful and green, clearly well looked after. We were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to our friends. Truly well done!
GGuest UserOverall, this is a unique and memorable accommodation with a beautiful view, a cozy room, and genuinely friendly staff. One of the standout features is the private outdoor bathroom, which makes for a special experience—showering under the open sky and even catching a glimpse of the stars. The laundry service was also convenient and added to the overall comfort of the stay.
There are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The final stretch of road leading to the guesthouse is in poor condition; while it wasn’t an issue for me, it could be challenging for those who are not confident riding a scooter. Additionally, the nearby mosque broadcasts prayers late at night and early in the morning (around 4:45 am), which can be quite loud and may disrupt sleep if you’re sensitive to noise.
I would recommend this place for travelers who appreciate unique stays and don’t mind the outdoor bathroom setup, the rough access road, or the early morning and nighttime noise.
