Komodo Hotels with Balcony

This hotel wasn’t the most expensive one I’ve booked, yet it delivered the best experience by far. Perched on a cliff, it is fully equipped with complete facilities and surrounded by stunning scenery. The hotel’s bougainvillea blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. You can witness four distinct breathtaking views throughout the day — morning, noon, afternoon and sunset, with the sunset being exceptionally gorgeous and perfect for photos. The hotel staff are incredibly warm; they are the most thoughtful and friendly service workers I encountered during my entire trip across Indonesia. All the hotel restaurants serve fantastic food. The main restaurant offers Asian, Italian and even Chinese cuisine, which suits the taste of our Chinese family perfectly. The Kiks Seafood Restaurant in the evening stands out especially, serving the most delicious grilled seafood I have ever tasted. Compared with Ayana in Bali, the service here is superior. The staff are more welcoming and always wear smiles, making me feel right at home. There are never too many guests, so it never feels crowded. Whether you are dining, relaxing on a lounge chair, playing in the swimming pool, wandering along wooden boardwalks, joining sunset tours or enjoying sea activities, everything feels comfortable, free and laid-back the entire time. This is what a real vacation ought to be like. I don’t even need to travel elsewhere; spending five or six days staying inside this hotel would be absolutely perfect. The hotel also provides a full range of recreational activities. We only stayed for two days and left wishing we could stay longer. The housekeeping staff folded adorable monkey and animal shapes out of towels for us. Without a doubt, this is the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in, and the only one I’m eager to revisit. Thank you so much to everyone here, and I will be back again.

Fantastic location, great views and clean room! My flight got cancelled so i could only check in one day later which they accommodated in terms of timing. I was able to call them through Trip.com and managed to communicate with them quite easily. Room was cleaner than expected! No insects at all, only 2-3 spiders. No hair found on sheets or sofa, no clogged drains, no foul smells. We had a room on the 3rd floor and it is accessible through lift and stairs. Sound wise, i could hear the water and door opening from the next room, nothing else. In the mornings you can hear the sounds of birds chirping and sometimes roosters crowing, pretty nice to wake up to. The sounds aren't loud enough to be disruptive. Aircon seems very new. No old musty smells, very clean and fresh. Hotel staff are responsive and helpful too. Overall, I would stay here again! Rooms are clean and spacious, it's a short 5 min walk to town, a convenient walk to the airport and has a great Italian restraunt next door.

Amazing resort, placed in a peaceful place without any noise, only the sound of birds and the monkeys that play and eat in the fruits tree. The staffs is very kind and friendly, ready to satisfy every your needs. Beautiful the restaurant that cook yummy dishes every day for lunch and dinner. Various and generous the breakfast. The room, I took Mountain View with private pool is simply amazing. All forniture are new and the room is wide and in a great position.

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the pier. Contrary to some rumors, there was no excessive motor noise in the morning or air pollution. The environment was comfortable; although the room was a bit small, it was very clean. Overall, the service was good with daily cleaning, though the staff seemed a bit short-handed during check-in and check-out times. The breakfast was plentiful, offering a buffet along with freshly made coffee and stir-fried noodles. The hotel also provides a free airport shuttle, which was punctual and convenient. Highly recommended!

An absolutely unforgettable getaway! What a special place this resort is! We spent 5 wonderful nights at Sudamala Seraya and can’t wait to return. It’s truly a little piece of paradise for a relaxing stay. The team at the resort is wonderful and looks after the guests very well. The hotel's private beach is definitely the biggest highlight! The views are truly beautiful. The front desk staff and the bellboy were all very polite, enthusiastic, and proactive in offering help. I arrived early, and they assigned me a room with a great sea view, which I really appreciated. However, the restaurant was a major letdown. The breakfast wasn't good, and the service staff were unfriendly and completely lacked any service awareness; they even seemed to be just going through the motions with sour expressions. Dining there made me realize that service really needs to be learned, and that hospitality management is indeed a necessary profession. As for cleanliness, the facilities are a bit old but relatively clean. The towels were definitely worn. Overall, it's a place that will attract visitors primarily because of its beach.

One of the standout features is the private outdoor bathroom, which makes for a special experience—showering under the open sky and even catching a glimpse of the stars. The laundry service was also convenient and added to the overall comfort of the stay. There are a few practical considerations to keep in mind. The final stretch of road leading to the guesthouse is in poor condition; while it wasn’t an issue for me, it could be challenging for those who are not confident riding a scooter. Additionally, the nearby mosque broadcasts prayers late at night and early in the morning (around 4:45 am), which can be quite loud and may disrupt sleep if you’re sensitive to noise. I would recommend this place for travelers who appreciate unique stays and don’t mind the outdoor bathroom setup, the rough access road, or the early morning and nighttime noise.

It truly has a bay view; the ocean is right from the balcony. The location is a bit off-center uphill, requiring a walk downhill, but it was a fun experience. I must commend the breakfast delivered to my room in the morning! They were very friendly, asking a day in advance if we had Indonesian or American breakfast options. I recommended the American, and the pancakes were a delightful surprise! The delivery staff were all so friendly and smiling. Isn't island life truly blissful?

The room was really spacious and even had a balcony! It's super close to the airport and just around the corner from the main street. Out of all the places we stayed during our two weeks in Indonesia, this was definitely our favorite hotel! They cleaned our room every day, and the front desk staff always greeted us with a smile. When everyone you meet is smiling, it's impossible to be in a bad mood, right?! Hahahaha, I didn't take any hotel photos, only pictures of the beautiful Komodo scenery.
