"I traveled alone and stayed at Hotel Italia in Florence, and I was very pleased with my experience. The hotel's location is simply perfect: right in the city center, within walking distance of all the main attractions. This was especially convenient as a solo traveler, as it allowed me to make the most of my time.
The breakfast was a pleasant surprise — delicious, fresh, and with a good variety of options. It was a great way to start the day before exploring Florence.
The hotel has a cozy and peaceful atmosphere, and the staff is attentive and friendly. For a solo traveler, it's an excellent choice in terms of value for money, comfort, and location. I would gladly stay here again!"

MMadamearnoI requested a room with a bathtub and mountain view, but neither of my wishes was fulfilled. The receptionist made excuses such as the hotel being fully booked and bathtubs being taken out nowadays for sustainability reasons, and he did not look like he was trying hard to find one for me. Hotels are the place to relax, and bathtubs should not be sacrificed. I moved from Double Tree next door just wishing for a bathtub and a nice view, but I don't think I will return to NH because the room and staff were better at Double Tree if I could not have them anyway. The 500ml bottle of water in the fridge cost €3, whereas it did €2 at Double Tree. The room equipment was much better at Double Tree. Here at NH, there are no electric outlets near the bed. I was surprised. The only upside is that NH is closer to the metro station, but the metro was not running while I was there. Location-wise, I recommend this hotel for those who drive here. Parking is plenty.
GGuest UserA good business hotel, the room is clean, the breakfast is good, but for us, the location a bit far from the landmarks and our destination.
We went for Juventus Match, and it was a bit far from the Allianz Stadium. You might need to check the location from your destination in Turin. But overall a good hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic, right in the old town, super close to the Royal Palace and all the main attractions. You just step out and walk a block back to reach the heart of the sights. There are plenty of dining options nearby, too. The hotel itself has great facilities, excellent hot water, and is very clean. Definitely recommend it to everyone!
GGuest UserVery nice staff, clean, nothing to complain about, and a great location.
Unfortunately, all this is spoiled by the lack of soundproofing, both between rooms and outside noise. A tram passes nearby, making you feel like you're on the sidewalk. I was in room 234; the parquet floor is extremely noisy, so be careful.
Despite the €25 a night garage, take it as a guide, or you might get a nice surprise when you wake up, like me, with a broken window. Nothing was stolen; I think it was just a fan of French license plates.
Personally, I won't be going back.
EEl YStayed 2 nights here, and it was nice of them to upgrade me to a bigger room. About 30mins walk to Museum of Cinema / Egyptian Museum. It's great if one likes walking.
MManuHotel was great!
The staff was very kind and nice. Our room was big and spacious, very clean, and everything worked perfectly.
The breakfast was good and the place had an overall nice vibe.
It’s not very close to the city center, and there are some curious locations around it. A lot of restaurants and bars in the area, also some supermarkets.
I would recommend this place if you are young and energetic and if you don’t mind the 20 minute walk to the city center.
But over all it was a very pleasant experience and a great place for the value!
WWutLeeValue-for-Money Stay with Room for Improvement
Hotel Diplomatic offers good value for money, especially with its comfortable beds and quality pillows which made for a restful stay. The breakfast spread was generous and satisfying. However, some finishes—particularly the flooring—could use a refresh to better reflect the hotel’s 4-star rating. It would also be helpful to have insect screens on the windows, especially since the air conditioning is centrally controlled. While the location is a bit removed from the main attractions, it's still reasonable considering the price point.
SSuperchen1The hotel is good overall, with many breakfast options and a small gym. The small swimming pool outside can only be used in summer. It is quite clean.
GGuest UserThe hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it is very clean and far away from noisy places. It is suitable for people who like quiet. The room is very clean and the overall stay is very comfortable. The front desk is very kind and the service is excellent.
