Kaga Hotels with Free Breakfast

This is a traditional Japanese hotel with an excellent location and good service. The public bath is open 24 hours, and the rooms are large and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it offers great value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, and there's no signal at all on the fourth floor, which needs improvement.

Hotel service is very thoughtful, warm, dinner is very rich, breakfast is very rich, there is a shuttle bus, the room is very large and comfortable, the terrace view is open, and there is welcome drink in the lobby.

KAI Kaga inherited hundreds of years of hot spring inns and used new modern models to attract tourists in the hope of driving crowds to the hot springs in nearby districts. However, it turns out that the surrounding area is very deserted. Except for KAI Kaga, which is fully booked on weekends, there are almost no crowds. The surrounding shops are either closed or on the way to closing, and the nearby shrines specially marked as tourist attractions are also deserted. The hotel itself, the rooms, the hot springs, the facilities and the food are all average, but it is really not worth the price (it may also be that there are more people on weekends and the price is higher). The high unit price will easily make people look at the small details through a magnifying glass, and they will find that many small areas need to be strengthened. Another drawback is that there is no shuttle service from the station to the hotel (other lower-priced hotels nearby offer that). If you don't happen to pass by and want to take a hot spring bath, it is not recommended to come here specifically. In the end, I didn't give a bad review because the service staff were relatively young and had a good attitude. Xingye has its own set of training for its employees.

A perfect stay experience can make you happy for a long time. There is no flaw and it must be full of 5 stars, especially the quality of the service staff and the meticulous ordering of dishes. The hot spring here is also very large, and the sister hotel ”Yadoli” can also be used for free. The hotel's shuttle bus runs at 15:30 at Kaga Onsen Station. The hot spring street is very beautiful at night, but not too prosperous, but the facilities are complete and quiet. That's awesome x3. Beautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room. For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.

Yiluyuan is right beside the famous Hexian Creek. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the hotel lobby face the scenic area, offering excellent views of the mountains and water. Free beer, plum wine and wine are available in the lobby and bathhouse lounge area. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style, and you will have to lean on the wall to eat. The facilities in the hot spring house are very complete, including a sauna room and an open-air bath beside the gurgling stream, which is very enjoyable.

The room, bath and meal were very good, but I took a bath and put the towel in the used basket, so when I asked the front desk if I could get a towel, I was told that it would cost me. Then, when I checked in, I wanted to say that the towel was another charge from ２ sheet. I was sorry there. Other than that, it was good.

The hotel is relatively remote and more suitable for self-driving tourists. My friends and I are not self-driving this time. It is easy to find by taking a bus for about half an hour at Kaga Hot Spring Station. The hotel also has a special car to take us from the hotel to Kaga Hot Spring Station. The hotel is very large, the room is very large, Japanese style, very good experience, the hot springs have open-air and indoor, the open-air hot springs are very good, completely bathed in the mountains and forests, a great experience!

Ctrip advertised free airport/train station pick-up, but after experiencing it myself, I realized it's a lie. First, there are time restrictions for pick-up; it has to be at the time shown in my photo. I only found out this after having the hotel call them the day before. Second, pick-up is not free; it costs 150 yen per person. It's not about the money, it's about the fact that it's not free. Ctrip shouldn't mislead people. That day, I had to take the bus myself, get off at the nearest stop to the hotel, and walk for about ten minutes. It was an extremely hot day, with a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and the sun blazing.

During our 2 night-stay, the breakfasts N dinners were awesome, mouth watering & flavorful! Best meals on our 12-day trip in Japan. The shuttle bus service was a great help. Every service personnel we interacted with during our stay were warm N hospitable! Their smiles and greetings made us felt welcome.
