Amazing
PPingdanshizhen2011A great hot spring hotel with one night and two meals. The service is great. The Kaiseki dinner and breakfast are delicious and tasty. I definitely recommend it!
The room is very spacious and the private bath gives you the freedom to bathe whenever you want. It's great!
MMiaomiaoisabelTraveling solo, I splurged on a Japanese-style room that could probably fit four people. It's an older ryokan, but that didn't really detract from the experience. The only thing was that during the off-season, the in-house restaurant for dinner was closed, so I had to buy food from a convenience store and bring it back.
Regarding the service, the shuttle driver was incredibly diligent and responsible, even waiting for me at the station for 2-3 minutes – I'm very grateful for that 🙏. In contrast, the two front desk staff (they were clearly not Japanese, probably Indian or Southeast Asian) were the most unprofessional hotel employees I've ever encountered: in the morning, when I greeted them, there was no reply; later, when I walked in from outside the hotel, they were loudly chatting and laughing. I've been to Japan so many times and stayed at so many hotels, but I've never experienced anything like this before.
GGuest UserThe location is a bit off to the side of the mountains, but the hotel has a shuttle bus that connects to Kaga Onsen Station, which is very convenient if you book in advance. The hotel is very close to the Tsurusenkei Trail; walking along the tree-lined path with the sound of flowing water is incredibly relaxing.
The hotel exterior isn't particularly modern, but once you enter the lobby, the beautiful decor and antique-style furnishings are a pleasant surprise.
The two indoor onsen facilities are well-equipped with comfortable, warm water, and include complimentary massage chairs and popsicles – a thoughtful touch.
In the evenings, there's a simplified version of traditional Japanese song and dance performance in the lobby, creating a wonderful atmosphere.
The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is very comfortable. Yukata and pajamas are provided, and there's also a section on the first floor filled with various men's and women's yukatas, obi (belts), and ribbons for guests to mix and match. The ladies were dazzled by the choices; it was so tempting that they couldn't leave for half an hour.
Both the Japanese-style dinner and breakfast were very plentiful, and dinner even included a Wagyu beef hot pot. I am very satisfied with this hotel and highly recommend it.
GGuest UserDuring our 2 night-stay, the breakfasts N dinners were awesome, mouth watering & flavorful! Best meals on our 12-day trip in Japan.
The shuttle bus service was a great help. Every service personnel we interacted with during our stay were warm N hospitable! Their smiles and greetings made us felt welcome.
GGuest UserVery nice Japanese hot spring hotel. The surrounding scenery is also quite good. The outdoor scenery of the hotel's public hot spring pool is so beautiful. The hotel provides transportation to and from the station which is very convenient, but remember to make a reservation in advance.
GGuest UserBeautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room.
For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.
GGuest UserCtrip advertised free airport/train station pick-up, but after experiencing it myself, I realized it's a lie. First, there are time restrictions for pick-up; it has to be at the time shown in my photo. I only found out this after having the hotel call them the day before. Second, pick-up is not free; it costs 150 yen per person. It's not about the money, it's about the fact that it's not free. Ctrip shouldn't mislead people. That day, I had to take the bus myself, get off at the nearest stop to the hotel, and walk for about ten minutes. It was an extremely hot day, with a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and the sun blazing.
KKING & QUEENThe hotel is relatively remote and more suitable for self-driving tourists. My friends and I are not self-driving this time. It is easy to find by taking a bus for about half an hour at Kaga Hot Spring Station. The hotel also has a special car to take us from the hotel to Kaga Hot Spring Station.
The hotel is very large, the room is very large, Japanese style, very good experience, the hot springs have open-air and indoor, the open-air hot springs are very good, completely bathed in the mountains and forests, a great experience!
邱邱The location of the hotel is very central, and it belongs to the first-line lake view location. The hotel’s male bath is good, and the room area is super large, at least 40 square meters or more, so Ctrip's information is still not accurate enough. Then the lake view room is estimated to have a front lake view, and the ordinary Japanese-style room is also a side lake view. Because it is not a weekend, it is the lowest starting price, which is less than RMB 1,000, which is the starting price of 7,500 per night for two meals in the hotel. The meals are all buffet in the morning and evening. The varieties are indeed not high-end, and the prices are there, but there is a self-service sukiyaki pot for three months from December to February, and there is unlimited draft beer. This can be said to be fully worth the room rate. Next door Japan The uncle really drank eight glasses. There is a direct bus from Kanazawa, and a free shuttle bus from Kaga Onsen Station, but reservations are required. There is a direct bus to Komatsu Airport. See the picture for details.
