"It was peak season, so it was quite crowded. However, the location is fantastic – super close to Sendai Station, just a 10-minute walk at most, and Tohoku University is only a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast was decent, and the room itself was clean, tidy, and quiet!"

"The hotel boasts an excellent central location, right next to the vibrant morning market and Senjiro. DHC brand toiletries were provided, which was a nice touch. It's conveniently located a 6-8 minute walk from the train station, with numerous bus stops easily accessible. The only minor drawback is that it's an older hotel that has undergone renovations, so while refreshed, some of the interior furnishings still show their age."

MMike from CaliforniaWould definitely stay here again after spending 4 nights here.
Seems to be a new hotel in a good location in Sendai. It’s less than a ten minute walk from Sendai Station, it’s located even closer to the Subway, just 1 block from shopping arcade, and a few blocks from the Asaiichi market.
Hotel room was very spacious for 3 including a 1 year old. Our room was on the 11th floor with a view of the next buildings rooftop. The lights are controlled with a touch screen. Wifi seemed to work well. Good luggage and jacket storage at the entry way.
Lots of free amenities in the lobby and you can get 2 bottle of water per day. We did not have breakfast during our stay but the lounge is open from ~2pm to ~9pm and there’s a Starbucks coffee/latte machine. You may also purchase a glass of sake for ¥500 from a machine. The second floor has pay laundry machines, microwave, ice machine, and vending machines.
Hotel staff was helpful. They can arrange your luggage to be sent to your next destination. I don’t think there is any added service charge. I had opted for no cleaning when booking to save a little but they still cleaned the room daily.
My only complaint is when I asked for a new key because i lost one, the receptionist gave some attitude and said that I should look in my room for it after issuing another key.

JJoyee LaiFrom the moment we entered the hotel, the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. We were warmly welcomed with a Nespresso coffee machine available as a welcome drink, which was a very nice touch.
The room was slightly more spacious than most hotels in Japan, beautifully designed, and very clean—making our stay comfortable from the start.
During our stay, we experienced the Aomori earthquake. We could clearly feel the shaking, and our phones received emergency alerts, so we quickly evacuated using the outdoor emergency stairs. When we reached the lobby, a staff member named 佐藤 (Sato) was already there, calmly reassuring guests. He noticed a lady who had run out barefoot and quietly brought her a pair of slippers without making a scene—such a thoughtful gesture.
Mr. Sato was friendly and attentive during check-in, and during the earthquake he remained calm, clear, and informative. His professionalism and kindness left a deep impression on us.
Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service and genuine care for guests. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserThe hotel staff was excellent, doubtless.
The location is convenient, just next to a metro station; however, it takes about 15 minutes tio go from Sendai Station to the hotel. But if you try the metro, it leads to to severl levels dwon plus lots of waiting time for the train. So it is not the best location i would say.
For the hotel room itself, it is a standard Japan hotel room. Smaller than i expected or expereinced in othe Mitsui Garden Hotel. That was a bit disappointing. I remember i was given a room with stinky smell. And i rushed to the front desk to ask for a cahnge of room. They immedaitely changed another room for me. But the reaction from their face, I wonder this smell problem must not have been new to them.
But anyway, the staff was super nice.
By the way, the public bath is normal. But i would say it lacks a space for people to relaxe outside the bath. There is no seat nor sofa outside. I need to go down to my room straightly. That was a bit not common in Japan hotels.
GGuest UserThe location is fanastic. It is close to Sendai JR Station, Sendai Morning Market and shopping streets. It is especially important given we have 2 ninety-year-old ladies in our group.
Breakfast was great. The dining hall was of Art Deco design. It had a mixture of western and Japanese dishes. The amount was plentiful and quality was good.
The onsen was free. There were jacuzzi and old water bath. It is pity that there was no open air bath.
We would consider a return if we happen to come back to Sendai.
AAnonymous UserThe location is very good. 5 min to sendai train station.
There is a famous grilled beef tongue across the hotel.
There is also convenience store nearby.
I think the coin laundry is so expensive, it’s 700 yen.
Room is spacious and clean.
LLIANGLlANGThe vending machine doesn't accept new banknotes yet, so I had to ask the cleaning lady for old ones. Every time I go to do laundry, I have to walk through the lobby, basically shamelessly in my slippers and pajamas. I wish the laundry room was on the second floor. The currency exchange machine should be near the laundry room, but I couldn't find it and frankly, I was too lazy to look (=TェT=). I also couldn't find a dry cleaning bag in the room; it would be great if one could be provided for every guest.
GGuest UserIt's close to the station and convenient for shopping. The subway is also close, so it's easy to get to anywhere. Even late at night, it's in the city, so I feel safe and secure.
GGuest UserI always book this hotel on Trip.com when I'm in Sendai for business. My colleagues who travel with me also say it's a great place to stay. The breakfast is plentiful, the environment is clean, and the location is right next to the shopping street. It's also very close to Sendai Station, only about a ten-minute walk.
