Amazing
TTai_GongWe were stranded in Suwon due to torrential rain and ended up booking this hotel last minute. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and very comfortable, and we even had a view of the trains. What's more, the second floor offers direct access to both the shopping mall and the train station, which was incredibly convenient.
AAnonymous UserI was expected to have a nice stay at Marriott, however the reception person made me very disappointed to Marriott during the check in process.
Luckily, when I check out, the lady who was asking me ”if there's anything she can help?” It was just a regular Q&A section to her, but for me, she helped me to book the bus ticket to ICN and saved/helped me to had a nice day -- She was perfect to earn 100% points!
that's why I gave 3 points to Marriott while her colleague was not, this is balanced score...
However, what I felt on the first day arrival was horrible. Marriott, you need to think about your service attitude and the reason why you're Marriott?
AAihechadehuliThis hotel is incredibly comfortable, and the front desk staff are always so cheerful. The room layout is very tidy, and the bathroom and toilet are exceptionally clean. I was able to enjoy a relaxing hot bath there. Honestly, it felt just like being at home. It completely washed away any unpleasant experiences I had at other hotels in Seoul. A special thanks to the male staff member named Han at the front desk, who also helped me send a package. In summary: a first-class hotel with top-notch, warm service. I also think the air conditioning system in the room was by far the best I encountered during my two-week trip in Korea; it maintained a perfectly consistent temperature, unlike some places where it fluctuated, and the room never felt stuffy. Just a small suggestion: it would be even better if they could provide slippers or bathrobes for children.
RRongrongxueqiubaobaoThe room was nice and spacious, and there's a street with bars and BBQ joints nearby. However, the hotel's entrance was incredibly hard to find; I had to circle around three or four times just to locate it after work. The front desk staff consistently wore black masks, making them seem as if they didn't want to be seen, which I found quite strange. Furthermore, the KTV (karaoke bar) just one street away employs 'princesses' (hostesses). Had I known this beforehand, I wouldn't have booked here. As a woman, I felt a bit unsafe walking on that street. I strongly advise female business travelers, especially those in China, to avoid booking accommodations on this street behind City Hall.
GGuest UserThis was the most professional hotel in a small Korea trip during Chuseok, good staff, proper lobby, rooms have good amenities instead of very basic. The location is very nice, Suwon was a bit too hectic for me on the night streets and not very enjoyable, but behind the hotel there are more fancy quiet and nice places to enjoy.
AAnonymous UserLuggage storage was well-managed, and I received a tag. Check-in was at 3 PM. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a convenience store, which was very handy. Getting to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress by bus was quite easy, but the subway station is a bit of a walk, about 10-15 minutes. The room was on the smaller side, making it difficult to fully open a large suitcase.
LLynneI had a very good rest! Even in the middle of heavy snowfall, the room was very warm. I really like warm rooms in winter. I would love to stay here again! It's a little far away from the bus terminal and from the train station, but it was possible to get to these places via the bus services. I loved the nearby walls/fort.
매매일 밤 네게 날아가This was my first trip to Suwon to cheer on a soccer away game. I don't have any photos of the accommodation, but the room was clean and the staff at the counter were friendly, so I had a good stay. However, the parking lot is not large, so some people may feel uncomfortable because they share the parking lot of a hospital near the hotel. Overall, I am satisfied~
SSolo AceI have been coming to this hotel for a little over a year, and I never had any problems until they started making changes. I understand charging for basic amenities, but can you at least put a bar of soap in the bathroom for handwashing. I also didn't have the nice LG clothes closet that refreshes your clothes. I wasn’t able to freshen my jacket, and the mattress is also harder. They did install a bigger TV and added better TV remote directions in English with a channel listing. But what did it for me was during the checkout. In the past, when I had a lot of bags to carry to the KTX or Bus Terminal, they always were helpful in calling me a taxi. I asked like I normally do, and not only was I denied, but I was also waved off as if he couldn't be bothered. I tried to tell him that I was going to the KTX, but he kept saying airport taxi across the street. Due to frustration and time constraints, I left. I didn't want to miss my train. I will definitely patron another hotel after this. Disappointed.
WWinkkamWe book this hotel near to stadium as we were going to watch a basketball match. Location good and many restaurants were right behind the hotel and opens till late.
We stayed one night, the bath tub needs an upgrading but the bed were good to sleep on.
