Kunming Hotels with Balcony

I was lucky enough to choose this guesthouse for two nights on this trip. The courtyard is beautiful, and it was so relaxing to sit out there and have a beer after a day of sightseeing. The owner's coffee is also delicious. The room facilities are pretty good for a guesthouse, and it was kept very clean. The guesthouse is located right by Dianchi Lake, so it's convenient for a stroll. Our Luoyuhe room was a bit small, and storage space felt a little cramped; I should have booked an upstairs room. Everything else was great, and I'll definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Kunming.

The location is incredibly convenient! It's just a 20-minute drive to the airport, and you can walk to MixC Shopping Mall and Donghua Farmers Market. Getting to Old Street takes only about 10 minutes by taxi, making it super easy to get around and explore. The room was spotless, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. The soundproofing was much better than I expected. The staff were all so friendly and polite, always quick to help with any issues. The breakfast spread was also excellent, and the rice noodles were delicious. My stay was absolutely perfect!

They proactively informed me about the hot spring's opening hours and breakfast times, and even offered helpful tips for exploring the area. The hotel is about 4km from Dianchi Lake, and within a 2km radius, there are plenty of dining and shopping options. The hotel's breakfast spread was incredibly rich, featuring a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes. There were pastries, fruits, desserts, and various beverages. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the freshly prepared noodle station served authentic, tasty noodles. The hot spring area was clean and elegant, with a comfortable water temperature. My room was tidy and quiet, with all the necessary amenities. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next vacation.

Situated in a peaceful area just 100–200 meters from the Ethnic Yunnan Village Park (also known as the Ethnic Minority Nationalitys Park), it allowed us to easily explore this cultural gem during a day trip, an experience we highly recommend. At the same time, the homestay is surrounded by quiet shops and local markets, making it both convenient and serene. What truly set this place apart was the outstanding hospitality. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the hosts went out of their way to assist us, even arranging a Didi taxi to ensure we reached the homestay smoothly. Their kindness didn’t stop there, they helped us purchase tickets for cultural attractions, found an English-speaking guide when our Mandarin wasn’t sufficient, and took care of countless other details that made our stay effortless. A highlight of our experience was Miss Zhang’s traditional Yunnan tea ceremonies. These sessions were not only a delight for the senses but also a wonderful opportunity to learn about the unique qualities of Yunnan teas and the art of brewing them. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate, often joined by the owners, which led to lively, hours-long conversations filled with laughter and stories. It was these moments that made us feel like we were among friends rather than guests. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve already booked the same room for our return in a week. We can’t wait to be back in this haven of warmth, culture, and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic, memorable, and heartwarming experience in Kunming!

This hotel is nestled in the heart of Kunming's old town, and stepping out immediately immerses you in the vibrant atmosphere of its bustling streets and alleys. With countless shops, eateries, and street food stalls, it's incredibly convenient for exploring and dining. The rooms are spotless, and the bathroom is clean and dry. Despite being in a lively area, it offers a peaceful and relaxing retreat. The front desk staff are lovely, kind, and attentive, always quick to respond. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and pleasant. This will be my top choice for any future visits to Kunming; I'll definitely be back.

We came all the way from Chengdu for a two-day weekend getaway. The hotel offers complimentary airport shuttle service, which was a lifesaver when my friend suddenly had severe abdominal pain on the plane. The driver kindly took us to the nearest clinic and waited for us. The hotel's concierge, Bocheng, was incredibly nice and accommodating, always ready to help and even proactively helped us plan and remind us about our itinerary for the next day. The hotel is beautifully situated right on Yangzong Lake, offering a fantastic location. Although it's been open for twenty years, it's still well-maintained and has a unique charm.

This hostel in Kunming offers incredible value for money! The common areas are huge, and the terrace view is absolutely stunning. It's so comfortable to sunbathe during the day and enjoy the breeze at night. The place is cleaned very diligently, and the bedding is fresh and odorless. The staff at the front desk are all super enthusiastic and proactively recommend local snacks and travel routes. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and secure here!

Great location! very close to the metro and railway station. we arrived very late in kunming, the staff kindly waited for us, which we really appreciated. the room was clean and had all basic aminities. overall, fine for short stay.

Facilities: Standard star-rated hotel facilities, very good. The room is spacious and comfortable. Cleanliness: Meets expectations, very thoroughly cleaned. Environment: This needs to be highlighted. The location is incredibly convenient. It's directly connected to the Golden Eagle shopping mall, so you don't even need to leave the hotel. Plus, it's super close to Kunming Old Street, making dining, entertainment, and shopping incredibly convenient. Service: Excellent. They generally meet all requests! Breakfast: We went out for rice noodles, so no comment on the hotel's breakfast.

The owner upgraded me to a loft king room. The room was very rustic and had a unique Yunnan charm. Breakfast included rice noodles, soy milk, and various grains. The owner even came downstairs to pick me up. The location is about 790 meters from the old town, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. The conditioner was also really good!
