Solna Hotels with Free Breakfast

I arrived late, around 11 pm, and as a female solo traveller I did feel a little anxious. You can reach the hotel either via Solna Strand metro station or Sundbyberg Pendeltåg, both about an 8 min walk away. At night the walk feels a bit longer, so just something to keep in mind. The reception was warm and welcoming. My room was great; the bed was comfy, the pillow was soft, and there were plenty of teas, coffee, a kettle, and even a hair dryer. The only downside was the bathroom design: there’s no barrier between the shower and the rest of the toilet, so water flows into the vanity area. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and, as a Muslim, I found there were enough options I could eat comfortably. On my last day I needed to check out very early, and the reception kindly packed me a breakfast, which I really appreciated. The location is in Solna, so not right in the city centre, but public transport makes it easy to get around, just plan your trips in advance. One pleasant surprise: I didn’t realise housekeeping was daily. On my first day I left the room quite messy, thinking I’d be the only one seeing it, but when I came back later that night it was tidied up. Overall, a comfortable stay and lovely service. The location is pretty good, with a bus stop right downstairs. The room was also quite clean, and while the facilities are a bit old, they are still functional. Overall, it's a good place with high value for money.

The first time I stayed, the front was an old Swedish building, but the decoration inside was very new, the room was large, and I lived in Sweden for many years. I rarely saw such a large room hotel. Clean is a must, Nordic standard clean. The restaurant is also very good, the breakfast is full, the Chinese muscle and salmon practices are delicious.

The location of this hotel is good, a bit far from the city center, but the room is clean and large. In Northern Europe, where land is at a premium, the price/performance ratio is very high. Also, I would like to mention that the hotel is not open 24 hours a day. If you arrive after 3 pm, you may not be able to check in. You need to contact the hotel in advance.

Abdi was very accommodating on my arrival. I had arrived early and needed to leave my bag on the premises. He waited for me to organise myself and made me coffee. The place had the most comfy beds for a jetlagged sleep, I highly recommend this place for a good rest. The location was in a really lovely area, just a little bit out of town from where my friends were...but the transport is really easy to get to and from the city centre. There are also some really nice shops, restaurants and cafes around the hotel that I discovered after I checked out.
