The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment.
The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities).
The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink!
The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally).
During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know!
The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked.
On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”.
We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave.
The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive.
When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

FKTWe booked a 3 days 2 nights stay in a two-bedroom Lagoon View Villa, and it was incredibly spacious and comfortable. A special thank you to Ms. Nhi for her warm hospitality and for surprising me with a beautiful birthday cake. She also generously shared a potent, fresh ginger welcome drink that actually cured my sister’s cough.
I highly recommend the spa; I had a Vietnamese massage with cupping that was professional and deeply relaxing. Dinner at Horizon Restaurant was scrumptious, with fresh flavors and a lovely atmosphere overlooking the lagoon.
The hotel makes exploring very easy by offering a free shuttle to Hue City. We took advantage of this for a half-day trip which is very convenient.

Oksana_travelI stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is very good, and I can recommend it, but there are issues with the cleaning:
1) Broken vacuum cleaners that spread more dust than they pick up.
2) The cleaning staff bang vacuum cleaners against walls and glass.
3) Managers checking rooms after cleaning repeatedly slam doors, even though they can be closed silently. From inside the room, you can lower the door handle, and from the outside, you can tap your card. Alternatively, they could leave the door ajar if they're going in and out for checks.
Take those old, broken vacuum cleaners away from the cleaning staff! I've seen negative reviews mentioning dusty rooms. That's because the cleaning staff are simultaneously vacuuming with broken machines and scattering dust from them all over the room and corridor.
On the 20th floor, a vacuum cleaner had a broken lid latch. They've nailed it shut and secured the lid with an elastic band. When they lift the vacuum to move it, dust spills out because it's not in a bag, but just loose inside the vacuum. The vacuum cleaners themselves are also all dirty.
After the cleaning staff saw me photographing the vacuum cleaner, a young man brought another, non-broken vacuum and thoroughly vacuumed in front of me, including the seams. Before that, the female cleaner was vacuuming poorly, as if she didn't know how to use a vacuum – when you move the vacuum wand, the brush should be parallel to the floor, not at an angle.
However, both the female and male staff don't control the vacuum nozzle and hit it against walls and glass. I heard these loud banging noises every day for hours in the morning when the cleaning staff were cleaning on other floors above or below. And they start cleaning at 8-9 AM. Some guests might still be sleeping.
Behind the nightstand between the bed and the bathroom in my room (2004), there were candy wrappers and a lot of dust. I had to move the nightstand myself and ask for it to be vacuumed. In principle, it could be vacuumed without moving it, just by removing the large attachment, but the nightstand itself was very dusty on the back because it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Meanwhile, the other nightstand wasn't as dusty. Other corners were dusty because the cleaners either don't vacuum or don't remove the large attachment, which makes it impossible to vacuum corners.
I also found someone else's reading glasses with red and blue frames under the bed. The cleaning staff should thoroughly check the room to ensure guests haven't left anything behind. Surely the person was looking for their glasses.
Overall, the room itself was very clean; the only issues with the cleaning staff were regarding vacuum usage and dusting in the corners.

Ben47I was surprised that breakfast could be chosen from a menu! The room was clean, and there were restaurants nearby, so I had absolutely no problems. The lady at the front desk was kind and understood a little Japanese. She even showed me a map of the area, and her charming smile was the best!
Although I didn't go out for drinks, the bustling downtown area was less than a 10-minute walk away.
I'd definitely want to stay here again when I come back to Hue. Oh, there was a window, but it faced a wall. However, given the location, I felt it was understandable.

Virginia Lio🌿 A peaceful and unforgettable stay at Pilgrimage Village
I stayed here during my solo trip to Hue and this was by far my favorite hotel in Vietnam. The resort is quiet, spacious, and beautifully designed — a true retreat from the busy world.
The staff were warm and professional, especially Ngoc Ha, the manager, who handled everything with great care and flexibility. I felt truly welcomed.
My room was cozy and comfortable, and the swimming pool was absolutely relaxing. I enjoyed their “buy 2 get 1 free” cocktail offer while sitting by the pool — such a peaceful moment to just unwind.
Dinner was delicious with options for buffet or à la carte, and the restaurant team was very kind and attentive, which made me feel safe and cared for as a solo traveler.
Breakfast had many choices, including authentic Vietnamese drip coffee, which was a nice touch. The resort also has great facilities and feels like amazing value for what it offers.
And don’t miss their spa! I booked a 2.5-hour session and left completely refreshed. Quiet, clean, and very professionally done.
I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Hue.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and great service.

I am your MrOreo
Good value for money.
The location is convenient enough that you are not far away from attractions, restaurants and cafes. There are water dispensers on each floor that you can easily fill up your water bottles during the day.
Staff are so friendly and kind, they always great you with smiles.
The only thing we found a bit unpleasant is they seem to offer swimming trainings to non-hotel guests during the day every day? Whether we were there early in the morning or late at night, there were kids having swimming trainings with a coach.

Guest UserHaving stayed at a Banyan Tree resort in the past, I had high expectations of this resort and I have to say, it did not disappoint me in one bit. Firstly, I have to mention the exceptional service. There is not a single thing the staff are not prepared to do in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Being a Muslim traveller, we had some concerns regarding the halal aspect of the menu. But I'm glad to say that the chefs understood the requirements and accommodated us flawlessly. We stayed in the pool beach villa for my daughter's 27th birthday, we booked two side by side. The villa itself was sensational. Getting up in the morning, walking on your own patio to your private pool, a stone throw away from the sandy beach, it's literally heaven on earth. Again, I will go back to the service levels because this is what truly makes Banyan Tree the special brand that it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality and your caring. Special mention to Nhi, Hung and Tan for making it extra special.
The only downside is that it's slightly off the beaten track. A night out in Danang is a 2 hour round trip. But we spent the first 5 days of our holiday doing all the exploring and Banyan Tree Lang Co was the perfect wind down before heading home.
I highly recommend anyone looking for a luxury escape in Vietnam, pick this place!

Arnau CasadevallWe stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food.
Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.

Chameau
The hotel is in a convenient location, about a 20 minutes walk to the old city. Plenty of eateries and shops around. It's also just a 25 minutes drive to the train station (we took the scenic train to Danang). The room was ok and mostly clean, but the bed was very hard and the pillows felt like a sac of potato. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel seems to caters mainly to Chinese tour groups. They are very noisy and unruly. The breakfast area felt like a market, the bread and pastries were stale and un-edible, the bacon was hard and dry. Maybe the Asian fare was good, the continental/western fare was terrible. Would not recommend!
