The best thing about this apartment was its location. Couldn’t be much more central and great for exploring the city…however…
Trying to check in online was a nightmare. Constantly getting an error message saying couldn’t check in. Arrived at the accom after our check-in time and still not giving us access codes. Waited for 2 hours after lots of unresponsive messaging and 3 phone calls chasing up what was happening. Then all of a sudden see a large chunk of money taken from my bank account as a deposit without being prewarned, which was closely followed by access codes finally.
Once in we noticed one of the bedrooms had no curtain or curtain rail, which looked like it had been pulled off the wall. Later found the curtain neatly folded in a cupboard but no way of hanging up. Messaged the company who said they’d pass it on to our technician but nothing came of it. Spent the whole trip getting woke up early because of the light. Even though the main function of this accommodation was to allow us to SLEEP. Still heard nothing on this which feels unacceptable.
On top of this the sofa bed mattress was covered in stains, and so were the sofa cushions. Kitchen has very limited cutlery and pans despite being a fairly nice kitchen. Also the light in the hallway was broken so found ourselves going up and down the steep and narrow stairs in pitch black.
Not the flats fault, but because it’s so central, it does get noisy quite early.
