Talk about terrible customer service… They had a power outage in the building (the outage was specific to the building) and we were unable to access our room on the 13th floor. Their backup power generator wasn’t working either. We had to spend the night at another hotel. The next morning the power was still out. We had climb the 13 floors and come back down with our three bags, in the pitch dark as this building doesn’t have emergency lighting in the stairwell. I reached out to the property but they refused to refund me. El edificio tuvo un cortre luz y no pudimos dormir en la habitacion… y no quisieron reintegrarnos Hablando de pésima atención al cliente… Tuvieron un corte de energía en el edificio (no en la zona, sino propio del edificio) y no pudimos acceder a nuestra habitación en el piso 13. Su generador de energía de respaldo tampoco funcionaba. Tuvimos que pasar la noche en otro hotel. A la mañana siguiente todavía no había electricidad. Subimos los 13 pisos y volvimos a bajar con nuestras tres maletas, en la oscuridad total ya que este edificio no tiene iluminación de emergencia en la escalera. Me comuniqué con la propiedad pero se negaron a reembolsarme.

WARNING TO TRAVELERS! ROBBERIES IN THE DORMS! Two days ago, I was staying in a shared dorm when I noticed that my lock was gone, the metal where the lock had been was bent, and all of the money was gone. I also checked the other lockers in the room and saw that the two other lockers occupied with possessions had been attempted to be robbed and had the metal bent and cut marks on the locks, but luckily, the thief/thieves weren’t able to break into them. Immediately after realizing what happened, I went into the elevator to go downstairs to talk to the front desk. While in the elevator there were two maids, and I frantically told them that someone robbed me, and they responded that they were on the other side of the building which I found as odd as I never assumed it was them or accused them. Everyone staying in our room this week has been robbed, has been attempted to be robbed, or has left the room because they’ve been so scared after this incident. After talking to the front desk and the others staying in my room, I found out that 3 people in the same room had been robbed in the past few weeks and someone else in another room (these are just the people that we know). Each of us was robbed between 2 pm – 5 pm, the locks all had been cut off, and the cleaning staff had been in our rooms cleaning during the time the robberies occurred. Also, we were told by staff that this is the only hall that currently doesn’t have a working security camera. All of us who have been robbed have been told that Selina couldn’t be held responsible even though it was clear that there was a pattern of robberies. Even one of the victims from a few weeks ago knew that the cleaning staff and a manager had been the only people in the room (via CCTV footage), and none of this was ever investigated by the administration.

After flying 12 hours or so to a city we'd never visited, in a country we'd never visited, to a hotel we'd only ever seen online, we were excited, tired, and a little apprehensive. But all our concerns went flying out the window within minutes of arriving at Hotel Vitrum. The staff were (are) able to flip to English in seconds and were ever so friendly and helpful. There was a warmness and authenticity to their interactions that can't be taught in any customer service manual. We felt welcomed as people, not just guests, or nights or whatever profit units’ hotels use for occupancy. Our suite was roadside yet quiet, modern and almost spotless. And I can recommend the bed as we slept 12 hours straight. The time zone difference between BA and Auckland is not favourable to eastbound travellers. The location for us, was fantastic. Palermo is walk-able, eclectic, hip, raw, historic and funky. And the dining (with craft beer) - oh my - so many quality choices near or even far. Asado, alfajores, empandas, choripan and all the milanesa one can eat. Throw in the wine and walking it all off becomes essential. Luckily Vitrum is within an easy walk of the subway, so all of BA is your oyster. What a pearl of a city it is. We can't wait to go back. Special mention must go to the Venezuelan concierge who made us feel most welcome. If you ever make it to New Zealand there is a seat at our table for you.

I've been staying at Air B& B's since 2017, being La Habana; Cuba my first experience ever so Trip Advisor (finally) is great to see I can now review Air BB's and by the way just a ”constructive” criticism more ”categories” should be added: trains, airlines etc. (just saying). Here we go: As a native Argentinean I go home at least once a year to visit my family, obvioulsy 90 % of the time to & from Buenos Aires, not I'm not from B.A. (Buenos Aires) but I either fly to or from to continue my trip to my hometown. My last time there I stayed at Top Rentals Buenos Aires, my very first time using this company and I must say I was really impressed ! The property is located on Esmeralda Street so centrally located is within walking distance pretty much anywhere downtown, super safe, always be mindful of your surroundings like everywhere else and do please ( can't type all caps) but NO flashy jewelry or nothing fancy while on the streets. The check in process is located in one of the upper floors of the Building Complex, but upon arrival the security officer at the lobby will give you specific instructions where to go. Rooms are so spacious, clean, beautiful views of the area and a small balcony to sip your malbecs, with the River Plate on the background. The staff is super attentive, apartments comes with toiletries, towels, and utensils for cooking, but really ?? You are in The Paris of South America so who will want to cook ? I couldn’t use the pool too cold for me. I highly recommend it you won't regret it, so good this place is that with my luck!!! One of the South American Presidents (don't know whom) decided to stay in that same building at the time of my visit, no wonder why there were so many police and security so if this place is good enough for a president of country I'm guessing is good enough for us to!! The surrounding life is convenient, there are famous pizzerias, famous tango performances, good health! Convenient! Good reception service!

Habiéndome hospedado en Ibis Congreso antes de la pandemia, veo que ha decaído ya que ha perdido algunas de sus rasgos que son importantes para el viajero de negocios como asimismo para el turista nacional y extranjero. Una pérdida muy importante es que no ofrecen ninguna computadora de escritorio siendo que hasta la pandemia habian 2. Es algo que deben restablecer y se lo hice saber a la SubGerenta, quien tuvo una actitud desafiante al respecto. Otra depreciación es que no están ofreciendo el diario de papel como lo hacán en la prepandemia, me parece una excusa pésima sostener que pude contagiar covid.... La SubGerenta sostiene que ambos empeoramientos son parte de la pol{itica de IBis en la región, sin embargo, y tal se lo refuté, en países como Brasil siguen brindando ejemplares de los periódicos en papel y hay PCs en el lobby oen un Internet corner. Lo que sigue siendo de alta calidad es el desayuno, con mucha variedad. El servicio de bar también positivo.

725 Continental Hotel is in a central position, short walk one way to Plaza de la Republica, with Obelisco, and a short walk the other way to Plaza de Mayo.A stop for the open top bus tours is on the other side of the street. Hailing a taxi is easy on the roadside but reception ordered a taxi without charge. The hotel has no car park, but there is paid-parking nearby. This art deco building is in a street of such buildings making for a scenic cityscape, both from the street and roof top terrace, where there is a bar and small pool. Sunset drinks were enjoyed on the roof. Room and ensuite was large and everywhere was clean. Reception directed us to 2 double rooms before finding the twin we had booked, which was an unwanted inconvenience after a long journey. There was a paid mini bar but no kettle in the room. View was across to the buildings the other side of the street. Air conditioning worked well. The lifts are slow and the wait was tiresome, but fortunately we could use the stairs from our room on a lower floor. Breakfast is served on the first floor, and there is a bar and restaurant on the ground floor, which we did not use. There are tango shows and many restaurants within a short walk of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was adequate with omelettes cooked to order. Window tables have picturesque street views. Facilities give the five star rating, but 725 Continental Hotel is more comfortable than luxurious. Location and service on offer made it good value.

Hotel bem localizado, fizemos muitas idas e vindas a pé, achamos as redondezas bem segura. Andamos de taxi também, no local passavam vários e não tivemos problema nenhum. Quando chegamos no quarto, haviam duas camas de solteiro, nós mesmo juntamos e conseguimos dormir dessa forma. O frigobar não gela, é apenas para manter temperatura ambiente. Pegamos o recorde de calor na Argentina em Março/23, graças Deus o ar condicionado estava funcionando perfeitamente, o chuveiro é ótimo, café da manhã é ok, o wifi que não é muito bom. Se você vai fazer passeios, ficar o dia inteiro fora e não pretende ficar muito tempo no hotel, apenas usar para descanso, eu recomendo.
