First, we paid for a room with a pool view, but when we arrived, we were given a room without a pool view. It took some time (approximately 2 hours) and some convincing, but the manager was able to relocate us to a room with a pool view. When we arrived in the new room, we were pleased with the location and space; however, the furnishings appeared old and not well-maintained; most wooden furniture contained many scratches, the dresser drawers in the bedroom were off the rails and not easily opened, seating on the couch in the living room was impossible, as one almost sank to the floor when attempting to sit on the couch. The overall style and look of the furnishings were just old. It's so sad for a hotel with a great location and upscale reputation.

My family had a great time and for the first time at Melia,we enjoyed every minute. Close to I-4 which is great when needing to get to the attractions.

Location is perfect, staff are excellent and go out of their way to ensure you are a happy guest. The room was perfect for our family of 3. Quiet and have a small kitchen, perfect for breakfast or light meals. We will be back for sure.

I wish I could have just arrived and rest after a long day of being out but I had to discover dry blood on the top of my bed and on the bottom sheets and wait for a replacement then they arrive hand me new sheets I had to redo the bed myself & was left with the blood sheets..then the new sheets were moldy and once again had to wait for a new set..then the housekeeper tried to leave me with the blood sheets and moldy sheets which I felt was unprofessional especially if wasn't my own blood..I wanted the bed remade fresh but I was just given a new top sheet and that's it I was very disappointed had to go to Walmart find some sheets to sleep on since I didnt feel comfortable sleeping on dirty sheets and staff seemed to not be bothered by this..I paid good money for my stay and would of expected a bit more compassion on the situation..

The room looked like it was in a hostel. The furniture was damaged. The handles of the shower and sink were broken. The AC did not work. The room was the caliber of a roadside motel.

Jackie in housekeeping was very effective and professional. Kind too. Thank you. Would obviously recommend and stay again. Free alcohol at happy hour from 5 until 6 pm. What else do you need? EV charger too. Not free but almost free. Location is brilliant.

This place is so clean that I actually gave my granddaughter a bubble bath! She is 4 years old and did not want to leave! She enjoyed the pool as well. The staff were all very friendly but especially the waitress at the pool. I don’t recall her name but she was attending us from 12pm to 3 pm on Monday the 10th of June. She went above and beyond! We will be coming back! Thank you so much for everything!
