We have only been here one night, but so far, the entire experience has been fantastic. On arrival, we were greeted with a delicious cocktail from the bar, where we sat and filled out the checkin forms. The car was parked for us for 15euros, meaning we didn’t have the battle to find a parking space in the busy Chania. The people have been fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, and they even took our luggage to our room, which was wonderful. And the breakfast this morning - it was fantastic. Both a buffet style breakfast and ‘a la carte’ option available. The entire team at breakfast were attentive, and made the whole experience feel very relaxing. Lastly, the rooms! They are beautiful, with double-width showers, beautiful bedding, blackout blinds, excellent AC and tastefully decorated rooms. In summary, this his has been a great find for us. Perfectly located in the heart of Chania, just a 5 minute stroll to the harbour. The whole experience has been brilliant. Looking forward to the last few nights of our stay. Thank you all!

The location is perfect in the old town. The rooms are well equipped and cleaned every day. The beds are comfortable. The only thing is because of the old building there is no good isolation and it is a bit noisy when someone from the street is walking…

We visited this well run hotel - 19th - 27th September - all the staff are very polite, friendly and helpful. Our room 406 was very well appointed and bed very comfortable. Airconditioned which we used when the nights were hot. Housekeeping did an excellent job. The hotel is in a good position, just moments walk to the Old Town, and a 12-15 minute to the nearest beach. Breakfast excellent choices of hot & cold food, with local selection of cakes, savoury and sweet Cretin pies. Local selection of bread and large selection of unusual jams and breakfast spreads. I would like to thank personally Nikos (Food & Beverage Manager)- for his friendship and ensuring that our breakfast meal was being enjoyed. He spoke to us personally each morning and he gave us some good information of places to visit outside Chania. Also I would like to thank - Emmanuella (Front of House- Reception)- again her friendship and she would also talk to us every time we passed the front desk. She again gave us very valuable information of places to visit, and organised taxi's and booked a day-trip by coach and boat. Emmanuella was again very polite, helpful yet professional, and helped make our holiday most memorable. A big thank you also to Necteria (breakfast server)- every morning she spoke to us, and remembered our breakfast order, she was so kind and helpful. We stayed in this hotel for four nights approaching mid-May. The hotel has we believe 35 rooms and opened on 15 May 2021. It has six floors and is situated on one of the main routes into Chania. It is sleek, well appointed, with a pool, with a functioning spa and a bar and restaurant. It is supremely modern – and everything works! We flew to Chania and a taxi from the airport should cost €23.00 – check before hiring! There is a bus from the airport but we felt the bus station was too far to walk with luggage. We cannot comment on connections with ferries. The quality of the hotel is evident as soon as your taxi pulls up. Reception has dedicated soft seating and is a large area looking onto a grassed deck around the pool, with loungers and deck-chairs. Beyond reception and on the same floor level there is bar which serves snacks, lunch and dinner, but from a short menu. It does not provide fine dining. There is an outside seating area that is under cover. On the floor below is the breakfast room – it is quite large and again has an outside, under cover seating area. Breakfast is a self-service buffet with cooked food available – the kitchen is open to view. The selection is extensive with both international and Cretan dishes, and whilst for vegetarians a little limited we still felt well served. The hotel is five minutes’ walk from the eastern end of the seafront which is lined with bars and restaurants and the furthest end (the Venetian Port) could be reached within a 20 minute stroll. The lack therefore of an extensive dinner menu is no problem. Our room was modern and slick, generously sized with a larger than normal double bed and good quality linen. There was a sofa and workspace. There was a full room width balcony looking out but not directly on to the seafront. Wi-Fi was OK. The bathroom and WC were separated from the bedroom by an elaborate screen. The wash hand basin was separate from the shower which was a reasonably sized walk-in. The WC was entirely enclosed but relatively odour free. It did, however, have an “interesting” door that we were unwilling to shut for fear of being unable to open and sensor operated lights and fan. All-in-all however – apart from an initial problem with hot water – everything worked. Toiletries were acceptable. There was a safe, a mini-bar with complimentary items and tea/coffee making facilities. We experiences no significant noise from either inside or outside the hotel. Housekeeping was acceptable with linens changed every two days. The aircon/heating was very effective – complicated, but with clear instructions! The room had widescreen television and a streaming service but we used neither. Staff were friendly and helpful, most with a good grasp of English. The hotel appeared equipped to deal with guests with limited mobility. We saw no evidence of the hotel taking groups. Lovely friendly little hotel with amazing staff. Great rooms and bathroom - ours was a two bed with massive balcony (cost about £5 / week more than a one bed!) The power shower was amazing - water from 5 different points! and water pressure and temperature perfect. Nice pool and garden though it was a little cool when we visited. Nice lift to upper floors - with glass side so as not claustrophobic like most small lifts. Breakfast very good for such a small hotel (only about 5 rooms in use when we stayed) with great choice of pastries and continental stuff, which I don’t normally eat but made a big exception this time. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, the cook made us omelettes every day on request (no one else got these and everyone else looked jealous) Ample free parking and hotel was only 200m from the beach and the bus routes. Some decent restaurants in the area or walk into Chania (about 1.15 hours) or get a bus. Hotel new and spotlessly clean, decent wifi, and other facilities including fancy coffee maker (but would have preferred a kettle) Would definitely recommend and would certainly return if I ever visit Chania again

We have just spent a week at Corinna Mare. We were looking for something good value and didn’t want to spend alot, but still nice and clean and nice pool area. They appeared to be fully booked, but when I contacted them were able to accommodate us if we swapped rooms half way through - which we were fine to do, they gave us a discount for this. Our first room was a studio, and the bathroom was a bit tired, however, the room was big and the bed was big and comfy. There was an issue with the sink when we checked in and they rectified this immediately. The second room was the apartment. We weren’t sure what to expect as it was road facing - however, the bedroom went onto the side and so there was no noise. This was a more up to date room. Both rooms were clean. I think for what you pay here it is really good value. The pool area was excellent, and there is also a little pebbly beach area. There are two pools, one is deeper and it’s no jumping etc. and another shallower pool more aimed at kids. This has a lifeguard. The bar is reasonably priced, and the staff are great. We had a few meals at the restaurant. Salads are massive as are sandwiches. The Greek omelette was really good. We only had dinner one night, and it was gorgeous. There is a great view of sunset. They do some fixed menu deals which were very good value (€20 or less for starter and main) and really nice. I am coeliac, and so gluten free and there was plenty of choice and the staff were accommodating. There is a shop just over the road for any basics, you buy your bus tickets there for Chania. 15mins on bus, they are really regular and run until about 1am. €1.50 per person. We hired a small car for a couple of days (€55 per day - mars) to go to lake kournas, and also the botanical gardens. We did a trip to the Samaria Gorge, getting picked up outside the hotel. Yannis at reception was really helpful with any questions we had and helped with booking dinner reservation. The staff in general were friendly, helpful and laidback. There is a really nice atmosphere in the hotel and in general with the area, the locals are all really friendly. We went to To Antikristo for dinner on our last night and this was favourite meal. Well worth the journey to get there.

We have just returned from our trip to Chania, Crete. Our week long stay in Lena Beach Hotel was excellent in every single respect! We enjoyed the beautiful setting, fantastic breakfast and most of all, the fantastic service offered by Ioannis (hotel manager) and the team. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and even helped us organise and book taxi transfer from the airport. The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere and all staff go out of their way to give a personal touch. The pool area was stunning and access times were brilliant (open until 9pm). There are some beautiful beaches only a few minutes walk from the hotel, of which we visited every evening to watch the gorgeous sunsets! We were in a Triple room with a beautiful sea view. The room catered for our every need and the powerful air conditioning was definitely appreciated! The balcony area was very private. We had a sound sleep every night! The area is absolutely stunning and we enjoyed days out in Chania and Imbros Gorge, as well as having an unforgettable trip out to Gouvreneto Monasteries.
