The Bowl Inn

We stayed in the suite, which was like a tiny apartment. Hidden location with lovely countryside to go for a walk around it. Although it was a busy night at the pub there was no noise in the room. Great breakfast (freshly baked croissant and pain au chocolat). Overall quiet and relaxing

We stayed here for the night with 2 other couples. We all had lovely rooms with balconies and the rooms were very clean,quiet with a lovely view across the countryside. The stay was topped with the full English breakfast and the staff were brilliant with a shout out to Lynn for her fabulous “nothing too much trouble” attitude.

My husband and I stayed here for one night after visiting the Big Cat Sanctuary for the day. We were made to feel very welcome by Rachel and her team. We were shown to our room and breakfast times and parking etc were explained. The room was a very nice size and everything so clean and lovely fluffy towels and a hairdryer. We had been concerned about the possibility of hearing noise from the pub downstairs but there was no noise at all once we closed the windows, so we both had a good nights sleep. We’d made a reservation for dinner and enjoyed a delicious meal and the waiters were all also very helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was also delicious and the full English was the perfect portion size. And the team who served us were again very helpful and friendly. All in all a very enjoyable stay in a lovely location

What an amazing place to stay, was here for 5 nights and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome by all the staff and locals. Great location in the countryside, perfect for relaxing after our days out and great food on offer. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back

We stayed here on Friday 15th March. From the minute we arrived we were treated with a friendly welcoming service. The room was perfect (Queen size with balcony) and well worth the rate. We ate in the bar area which was busy with a great atmosphere and then spent most of the evening in the bar sat in front of the log burner chatting with the regulars. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. A great breakfast the following morning, with plenty of choice and great service. Would thoroughly recommend and will definitely return.

What an excellent place! All a country pub should be. Good beer, excellent dinner, comfortable room and lavish breakfast. Friendly staff. I can’t fault the place. This was the third time I stayed here. About 30min from Eurotunnel. It had ample parking for my long trailer. Well done.

Stayed two nights and quite frankly is was… delightful, delicious and delivered. The Bowl Inn is an absolutely delightful English country Inn, packed full of character, mixing old and new sympathetically, the rooms are really beautifully laid out and very clean and hygienic. Food ale and wine is delicious, food prepared, cooked and served to Michelin Star standards. Finally, the staff delivered a great customer service, quick, easy, personalised, and empathetic. There is nothing to offered in any form of a negative. I have booked a return! Thank you for looking after us so well during or stay.

Stayed here for 2 nights 27th 28th December for funeral in Charing Absolutely delighted with the place from the moment we entered after a very long tedious drive from Shrewsbury. The staff were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us-Tom deserves special mention as do two other female staff who served us dinner on first night and breakfast following mornings. Food was outstanding Thank you all

This Pub with accommodation was outstanding. The room was beautifully decorated. Lovely bathroom with shower & bath. Water for drinking provided every day. Plus tea & coffee facilities. Staff were so friendly. Breakfast had great choice. Great menu for evening meal. I would definitely stay again. It really exceeded all our expectations.
