Hi I’m your host Karen, I live and work in Chengdu. I work in a IC company as HR.
I bought this apartment in 2019, which was built in 1980s. I designed it by myself and decorated it for one year. Most furnitures were bought by myself from local second hand market.
Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by retro and simple natural things, old city, old street, old house and old furniture. I always think that the more things are used, the better.
My apartment locates in an old street which is over 100 years. Here you can see post office

I've been to Spain, Dubai, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand, Bali, Japan, Laos, Hong Kong, Taiwan. When I travel, I always choose to stay in a homestay because this "home" makes me feel comfortable, convenient and beautiful. But it's important because of my host. I was lucky enough to meet a lot of great hosts who became a big part of my travel.

House: This is a two-bedroom apartment in a residential building. Two oversized bedrooms. I really like the decoration style of the house. Although it is dark and shabby at first sight, after staying for a long time, I still like it a little bit. It is not a cookie-cutter Internet celebrity style. The landlord has his own aesthetics and ideas, but my photography skills are not good. , but the beauty of the house cannot be overstated. Location: Downstairs is a retro bookstore. Opposite is the fire brigade, which makes you feel safe. It is very convenient to walk to Chunxi Road, Jinjiang Theater, and Taikoo Li from the B&B. It has proper facilities in the city center: you can wash and cook in the house, there is a refrigerator and a projector, and a tall integrated stove for cooking. The bed in the B&B is really It's so comfortable, you'll know it when you sleep on it. I have never slept on such a comfortable bed in a five-star hotel, and the bedding is of high quality. The room path also contains reviews from guests from all over the world. The host family is very attentive in running this B&B. Before I checked in, the host gave me a lot of travel suggestions.
