The View Chiang Dao
4.6/553 Reviews
This hotel is hidden from view of the main road, once you turn in between the car workshop, you will see the hotel in the beginning of a rice field. The hotel include 4 storey of room and restaurant at the top for a beautiful view (but the lift only reach 4th floor) Swimming pool is on the ground floor but away from curious eyes of non guest, there are 2 function room and 3 nice cubicle for enjoying meal. Tips : There are 2 main view, 1 is facing rice field, the other facing the mountain. Choose your favourite but mainly sunset of mountain looks great.

Chiangkham Luang Resort

Great stay experience! It feels like a Thai aristocratic manor^_^A huge house, a huge living room in the public area, a reading corner, a computer, and a printer. The three-person bedroom we live in is very spacious, and there is more than enough for a family of four. The breakfast is great and there is coffee. , Tea and fruit juice, Thai rice porridge or western style. I especially like Thai rice porridge. Recommend! The landlord is super nice, it is a surprise experience of this trip!
Malee's Nature Lovers Bungalows
4.3/510 Reviews
Set in a beautiful tropical garden, this resort, run by a Thai-Swiss family, lives up to its name. From our bungalow, we could watch birds from the balcony. For serious birders, the staff can arrange tours to more remote areas with Thai or English speaking guides. Besides Thai, staff speaks fluent English and German. Their hospitality is wonderful. Just before we arrived, my wife sprained her foot and could walk only painfully. Staff members took her out for lunch and took her on tours of the countryside. The grounds are level, so access to the bungalows from the parking lot is easy. (Some bungalows, as well as the restaurant, have a few steps.) The restaurant currently only serves breakfast. Our bungalow was spacious and comfortably furnished. It had fans, hair drier, hot water pot and refrigerator, but no TV, AC or microwave oven. It is within easy walking distance from several tourist restaurants, and slightly farther, but still within walking distance, from the Thai-style open air food court at Chiang Dao Cave. We can recommend this place highly for nature lovers. Non-nature lovers seeking a peaceful, relaxing setting with gracious hosts will also enjoy it.
