GGuest UserI chose this hotel because it's close to the airport, as I had an early morning flight. They offer a free airport shuttle service, and I'd like to thank the driver who worked hard to drop me off at 4 AM. The room was quite spacious and featured smart amenities. The breakfast selection was limited, but the taste was decent, and they had freshly ground coffee.
I'm giving a low rating because on the day I checked in, the front desk told me that downloading a mini-program would upgrade me to a 'deluxe room.' As a frequent business traveler, I can usually tell the difference between room standards. The so-called deluxe room was very ordinary and located on a low floor facing the street. I asked to change rooms, but the other rooms I saw were similar to the 'deluxe' one, which gave me a bad first impression.
Most importantly, I didn't get a good night's sleep for either of the two nights I stayed due to poor soundproofing. On the first night, the neighbors were making a lot of noise, chatting and singing until midnight. My room didn't have a phone, so after contacting the front desk, they said they'd send someone over right away, but no one came to address the issue for a long time. I had to bang on the wall to get them to quiet down a bit. On the second night, the neighbors were still talking non-stop until very late, and the shops downstairs were playing music until midnight. I had to wake up at 4 AM the next day for my flight, but the noise kept me from sleeping well. It was a very bad stay, and I won't be coming back.

MM754003****After traveling all the way from Shanghai and staying in five or six hotels, this one truly stands out as 200% amazing. It's well-equipped, clean, and offers all sorts of thoughtful services you wouldn't even expect. The staff (both male and female) are incredibly helpful, polite, and attentive. Even my picky daughter said she loved this hotel! On our second night, my daughter fell ill, and the front desk attendant went above and beyond, helping us buy medicine, get porridge, and even carry our luggage. Unfortunately, due to my family's health, we couldn't enjoy our trip to the fullest and had to cut it short and head home early. But next time I'm in Kunming, Yunnan, I'm definitely staying here again.

GGuest UserThis hotel is right in the city center, making it super convenient for getting around and finding good food. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by an elegant fragrance. The decor has a classic feel, perhaps from 20 or 30 years ago, but it's incredibly well-maintained and refined. The front desk staff were also very welcoming and upgraded me to a suite. They even noticed I was holding a takeout bag and, without me saying a word, knew I wanted to throw it away – that was really thoughtful! I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Kunming.

GGuest UserA very warm treasure hotel. Our family received souvenirs and welcome tea as soon as we arrived at the hotel, which was very ceremonial. Because there were not many tourists, the hotel seemed particularly secluded. Whether it was the private soup in the courtyard or the Pu'er tea, they were all of very high quality. The children enjoyed feeding the seagulls every day. The food was a little simple during the Spring Festival. A male waiter in the restaurant (forgot his name) was very enthusiastic. The green vegetables were all from the hotel's own vegetable garden, which was very natural. The back door of the hotel leads directly to Yangzonghai Shijiazui Park, and the scenery is invincible. In short, I was very satisfied. Thanks to the housekeeper for his meticulous service. Five-star praise. Recommended to travelers who like to relax and get close to nature.

MM10627****The room was spacious, and the solid wood desk felt really high-quality. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, which was very convenient for two people. They even have robots that can deliver takeout, which is pretty smart. Plus, there are charging stations right next to the hotel, which is great for electric car owners – no need to worry about finding a place to charge.

When you're tired from exploring, you can just head upstairs to sleep. However, if you prefer a quiet and spacious environment, this might not be the place for you.

LLuxiangbeibeiMy friend highly recommended this place, saying the area is fantastic and super convenient, and the shuttle service was a huge plus. The shuttle service to/from the South High-Speed Rail Station was excellent. Overall, the service was truly impeccable, and there are plenty of great dining options nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.

XXMM1992Huge thanks to Jen for giving us such a perfect start! Soon after booking, the hotel reached out to understand our needs. They even installed a three-sided bed rail before we checked in (many hotels only provide a one-sided one), and set out a toothbrush and small slippers for our child – really impressed! The hotel staff are incredibly warm and friendly; they always interact happily with our little one and even give out cookies, which she absolutely loves. The hotel's central location is fantastic, with large malls like MixC and Plaza 66 nearby, making everything very convenient. I rarely leave reviews on Trip.com, but after our trip, I really wanted to come back and specially commend Jen. She did an amazing job, and we'd definitely stay here again if we get the chance.

PPsymondDespite the convenient location, comfortable beds, and all-important quiet sleep we managed to get, the hotel's communication to arrange our pick up from the train station at night and what turned out to be a self-check-in was just dismal, clearly needing more training to ensure better organisation for future guests. The following constructive advice is to help the hotel improve and for (particularly foreign) guests to note:
1. Ask for guests' phone number and inform the driver well in advance of our arrival, instead of waiting till the very last minute to do so. We reached out to the hotel via WeChat the day before and rightfully received detailed instructions (in Chinese) to find the driver (the pick up service is actually outsourced to a separate company using 3 different vans), but once we found the van, the driver angrily insisted we call the hotel to identify us by confirming our phone number - we were not allowed to board without the hotel's confirmation, which should have been done directly with the driver well in advance of our arrival.
2. This hotel is not manned after hours, let alone 24 hours, so please make it known well beforehand that we will have to check in ourselves if arriving after hours, and provide clear instructions on how to do so instead of communicating them through the phone while guiding us using the security cameras. It is not the guests' responsibility to do your administrative work (to report ourselves to the authorities by scanning the police QR code and filling out our details) at 11 o'clock at night when we have an early morning train to catch the following day. The hotel should allow guests to enter the room as soon as possible upon arrival, not have us wait half an hour while they struggle with what was clearly their first time checking in foreign guests - worse still over the phone - insisting that this be done before we could enter our room.
3. If the hotel truly wants the patronage of foreign guests, they will have to prioritise our convenience and comfort over theirs by actually having someone check us in in-person. Remotely doing so to save costs is as absurd as expecting foreign guests to communicate our details over the phone, sending photos of ourselves, our passport details etc. via WeChat, and then finding our room card and the room by talking to someone over the phone in Chinese. At the very least, these requirements and instructions should be clearly produced and communicated beforehand so that nothing is improvised.
We hope the above experience helps improve what is a decent hotel providing good value for money.
