The hotel is pretty good! The rooms are spacious and bright, the beds are dry, and the hygiene is good! Good service attitude! There is only one restaurant with fewer choices of dishes. In addition, don’t go to the surrounding chin chin and the casade Chinese restaurants. There are some localized Chinese dishes in India, which are really awful. Is there anything? !

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, and roomy with excellent service where we had dinner. The food was good, great value for money, and the service was attentive and efficient. The room itself was well-equipped and comfortable. “The staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. Swetha from the reservation team - excellent staff, the way she understood my requirements was outstanding. She is an asset to Coco Lagoon. Swetha keep up your good job and you will reach heights. lovely to speak and looking forward to booking again and speaking to you. 2. Dinesh: you are a rock star I would say. event ***agement ***ager he is and a great show was organized and he made the audience so cheerful and kept all of us happy. and should also put a few words about Sandhya and ***ir's reception and home service staff who were so kind in getting our requirements done, good job guys.

Three of us spent one night at an executive suite in the Welcomhotel Coimbatore. 1. Let’s begin with the biggest complaint first. Halfway through a morning shower, the hot water simply stopped flowing both from the tap at the washbasin and from the showers too. Took about 15 minutes to resolve so I finished my bath with cold water which isn’t a big deal in a Kovai summer. But this is not something you want to happen at this price point, or, indeed, at a price point half as high as this. More so when you’re occupying an executive suite. Extremely disappointing. 2. There was some confusion at checkout. Our reservation included all 3 meals. And we had signed for one of those meals, and the restaurant had posted it as a bill payable. Reception took a few minutes to sort that out. 3. The lobby almost doesn’t exist. Once you pass through the doors, you are in what can at best be described as a passage facing the reception. This is well-lit, and I do like the aesthetics, but it’s just surprisingly small. Not complaining about this though; I was just amused. 4. We had an a la carte lunch and a buffet dinner. The quality of the food is, overall, good, as you would expect of the ITC group. The food at their Fortune hotels is often very good too. The buffet seemed to play to the crowd a little – there was a little too much tempering, it was a little too strong in its approach. But still, that is nitpicking. A la carte was pretty good. The staff are patient at taking orders and orders are taken seriously. But their knowledge of the menu isn’t sufficient. They have a dish called “ritu ki sabzi” or something of that sort which translates into “seasonal vegetables.” When we asked what the vegetables were this season, the best the waitress could do was to say “carrot” twice. The dish too was something like that: Nothing particularly seasonal about the vegetables. 5. We had an early breakfast. The buffet wasn’t quite ready yet. Nevertheless, the spread on the buffet is satisfactory but not as wide as you would expect. The quality of the food is excellent. The service was mediocre: I ordered a masala dosa which didn’t show up for 10 minutes. On inquiring about it again, the waitress (a different person) thought I was placing a fresh order and informed me that it would take about 10 minutes, a point which was never brought to my notice when I first ordered it. So I ordered a plain dosa instead. 6. Overall, the aesthetics of the hotel are nice. The restaurant, however, is dimmer than I’d like. At dinnertime, there was live music in the restaurant. I suspect that the hotel didn’t think its guests had personalities, because the loud volume made conversation extremely inconvenient. The rhythm was good (because it was essentially a metronome type of thing), the singer might have had some relationship with melody at some point in some life, but his accent made it (un)clear to us that nobody knew what the words of the songs were. 7. Chose Residency at Coimbatore. I have stayed here earlier too. however now the rooms have been done up all new . The rooms are spotlessly clean with great room service to support. Kudos to the team. Keep up the great work. Will for sure come back.

Good location The room was clean and comfortable, with breakfast. acceptable. You can stay in the next time you need it.

1 booked this hotel from Yatra for 2 days for 7k. Visited the hotel around 9-9.30 and requested for a room but the Hotel reception is denied early check-in. Must say Hotel is big but their standard is small. I have told them that I am a revisiting customer accompanying my wife today who is a doctor on a posting in Ganga Hospital. Further told them that my friend is staying with you for 2 weeks. Reception staff simply ignored they seem to oblige only if I do direct reservation or pay extra 2k for 2 hrs. I asked them to connect me with ***ager, they instead connected me to their immediate supervisor. The staff here is willing to give the room for direct reservation but not to the guest coming with a booking from yatra/ MMT etc. I have seen few customer checking out in front of me and when I pointed them they said house keeping hasn't come yet and it will take time for them to clean. I have even requested to give them temporary room for 10 mins so I could take shower and go to the hospital. They did not oblige. Been to ***y hotels of same and higher star. They always oblige for early checkin and upgrade if it's available. Also, in my experience room cleaning takes 15 mins. I waited at the reception for an hour in anticipation of getting the room. Room needs little overhauls. Bathroom flush do not work properly. Hair dryer, room slipper missing

The stay was very nice and rooms are beautifully done up with top of the line amenities in the room provided for the value of money charged. Indian meal, specially South India Cuisine are excellent. Total Veg Hotel, which is the best part. Coming to the service, House keeping staff very polite and kept our room very neat and clean. But the disappointment comes when we had invited a friend for Breakfast and the treatment given by the team was extremely rude, specially from JEEVAN, who felt we were outsiders and there is no entry beyond 1000hrs. We did enter the restaurant at about 0950 and we had guest who is extremely close to your Chairman and he spoken to the Chairman's office also on the same. It was a insult that we faced from the Restaurant manager, we are now closed and no orders will be taken beyond 1000hrs. It was rude and he mentioned the kitchen is closed. We did mention to him due to rain and traffic there was a delay for our guest reaching the hotel and also the parking problem faced. Second is the extreme rude behavior of your front office staff named DURGA and we been in hospitality industry, cannot except such behavior. Rest the hotel staff are good and to mention the lady inlobby area who maintains the cleanness of both the lobby and Toilet areas, always busy with her work and ever so smiling and obliging.
