Hotel Lorien

Das Zimmer war an sich sauber, allerdings waren Flecken und Brandflecken im Vorhang. Im Mini-Badezimmer, bei dem man nicht mal die Tür ganz öffnen konnte, fehlte der Klodeckel. Trotz mehrfachem Nachfragen wurde während unseres Aufenthalts keiner installiert. Zum reinen Übernachten okay, aber mehr auch nicht.

I would like to share my experience during my stay at the hotel on April 7, 2024. I am sorry to say that it was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I have ever experienced. First of all, I was surprised and annoyed that I was told by Mr. **** upon check-in that I had to pay my bill IMMEDIATELY IN CASH because the amount was less than €150. I have never experienced having to pay CASH in a hotel, especially if you have deposited a credit card as a guarantee. I cannot understand why the deposited credit card cannot simply be used to make a binding reservation AND payment. There was also no proper invoice stating that I paid in CASH. I have never experienced anything so dubious before. When I asked to speak to the supervisor, there was simply no response. There were also problems at breakfast. Although I had explicitly requested breakfast when booking and this was also written in black and white in my booking confirmation, the receptionist did not believe me and asked me to pay the amount again. Only when I had to find the confirmation email again and show it to her did she believe me - albeit reluctantly. The incompetence and unfriendliness of the staff was clearly noticeable and significantly affected my stay. I hope that my criticism will be received constructively and measures will be taken to avoid such problems in the future. As a paying guest, I expect appropriate service and a smooth transaction. However, I would also like to make it very clear that this is the last time I will be a guest at this hotel. With disappointed regards

I think the doors are squeaking and making a lot of noise because they are not oil-free. Since the hotel is busy, door noises disturb us until 02:00 at night and do not let us sleep. I would like to express my congratulations to the receptionist who knocked on the door of the room at 23.50 at night, called the reception downstairs and asked for a difference of 3 Euros, saying that you had an incomplete payment. Did you get the 3?? . You managed to disturb a family who had been staying at your hotel for 4 days on the last day.

The hotel is extremely noisy at night, the doors of the adjacent rooms open and close with a bang, voices of conversation were heard all night long, we could not sleep, the doors were creaking, and on top of that, I bought 5 hair dyes from Cologne, the suitcases were open when we went for a walk at noon, the cleaner took one of the dye, and when we came to Turkey, the dye was removed. I noticed that one of them was missing. If your money or anything is in your bag or suitcase, be very careful, I did not notice it, I do not recommend it.

The kitchen fairy nice and attentive. Will be cleared and refilled quickly. The cleaning fairy super. Towels and bed linen are changed regularly. Coffee cup is taken away. Kleenexbox and even a fridge, kettle and instant coffee portions. Top!!! New bathroom and good mattresses. Large room and large balcony. Only downside: the bathroom door cannot be closed because the floor is new and higher.

We got a smoking room. Apparently the hotel was fully booked so we couldn't be offered another room. We helped ourselves with textile fresheners and room fragrance from nearby DM. But even the bedding stank of stale smoke!!!! The toilet flushed all night, the bathroom door wouldn't close and jumped open again. In addition, the much-mentioned street noise…
