I had mixed feelings about this resort. First off- it was beautiful!!! When we got here, the two women at the front desk were warm and friendly with great recommendations. The breakfast restaurant service was phenomenal! The facilities were clean. The rooms were big and everything was spotless! Gym was wonderful. Can’t say enough great things about the facility and people. The two areas that need improvement- (1). Room cleaning service. Our room wasn’t cleaned except for a change in sheets. Other than that- nothing was done. (2). Check out- we got called at 11:59 informing us it’s time to leave. I asked for 30 min more and was called immediately after it was time. I mentioned it to the receptionist at checkout and she was really annoyed and clearly lacked the understanding of just being polite. I travel a LOT and wasn’t expecting her lack of professionalism. So excellent place, gorgeous facilities, welcoming staff and I HIGHLY recommend. Those two incidences that I mentioned are annoying outliers but all in all incredible stay.

Very beautiful grounds, large spacious rooms, excellent amenities and athletic center. Close enough to a few different areas with restaurants, shops, and stores but far enough away you still feel like it's a private oasis. The staff we encountered were all very welcoming including the security gate agents. Would definitely stay here again if we are guaranteed a mountain view room and not golf course view (see below). Very smart room feature that electronically allows you indicate privacy or housekeeping is welcome which every hotel should have my opinion. The cons: housekeeping was hit and miss even when tipping each day. Sometimes we'd get new water, coffee, and tea replenished, and other days nothing. The outdoor pool definitely did not feel heated (very cold) and it was a topic of conversation among guests and residents on how cold the water was. Our view the first few nights was of the golf course (nothing to look at, blocked by trees) and a super bright spotlight outside the patio door, a oid room 223. We were eventually offered a new room across the hall on the mountain view (west facing) side and it was astronomically better.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, and it was wonderful. While the room was spacious and comfortable, what was amazing was the customer friendly experience. In particular, I needed a microwave each night for a few minutes to heat a compress for medical reasons and Patty (head of guest services) arranged to have the microwave that the staff used for their lunches to be placed in our room for our entire stay, free of charge. It was extremely considerate and generous of her. We look forward to staying there again.

Stayed here 5 nights with golf buddies. Nice modern design and very clean. Breakfast was great. Staff is friendly and helpful. Golf courses are excellent. Views from the property are spectacular. All in all a very professionally run establishment.

Beautiful property but quite disappointed with the housekeeping services. The hallways were lined with empty champagne bottles for over 24 hours. The hair dryer didn’t work and when asked to bring a new one the staff was disinterested in helping. There was mold in the shower. The food was great at the steakhouse but again the table was dirty and had to ask multiple times to get it wiped down. For the price I would expect better service. When we brought these items to the attention of the desk staff they made no attempt to discount the $50 resort fee. Again staff seemed rather disinterested in a high level of service.

I’m writing this review still not finished with my stay, but I want to alert possible travelers here to possible issues. First…the rooms are superb. No other way to put it. Location is nice. Breakfast is mediocre but lunch in the clubhouse restaurant was good and we look forward to trying other things. However, I am a golfer. And that’s what really matters to me when traveling. When I’m with my family I try to play early in the morning so I can be with them by lunch and we can have a day. I also an a single golfer but am happy to play with anyone. When I tried to book tee times here by email well in advance, I received a fast response that told me I could not book as early as I was trying and have anything before 11. They recommended calling the week I arrive or stopping by the pro shop. Today I stopped by the pro shop only to learn that there are no morning times. I understand courses get busy. But if you are going to bill yourself as a golf resort, then you need to let people make tee times. I have to reserve rooms like 6 months in advance when I am traveling with family, but I don’t get to find out if I can play golf until a week beforehand? By then I have no choice. I know this request is not abnormal…I have done the very same at many golf resorts in the US. My evaluation of the place is that it is a private club that allows outsiders to play at limited times, not a golf resort. And that is very disappointing to me as we could have stayed at one of the other fine resorts in the area. Not to mention the hassle of hauling my clubs out to Colorado Springs only to not be able to use them. I hope the service improves for guests in this area. Everyone is very kind and welcoming, and the facilities are great. But for a golfer, a golf resort without golf when he has made the effort to make times well in advance is never going to be anything but a disappointment.

Cannot say enough about this beautiful property! We loved it here. From check in to check out, every staff member we encountered were friendly and always ready to help. We stayed in a king deluxe suite 3rd floor corner room (351) with views of the golf course. The room was beautifully appointed with separate living room area. It was quiet, clean and spacious. The grounds are perfectly manicured and maintained. Although it was about a 4 mile drive to get to a highway to go almost anywhere, it was definitely worth it. We would highly recommend this property!

Wow! I don’t where to start. My husband & I stayed here last week and our experience was AMAZING! The cleanliness of the room, the comfort and the view from our patio, made us want to never leave the property. The dining was superb and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was delicious. Compliments to the chef/s. I’d like to take this time to highlight a few staff members: Patty Patel and one of the servers at the Steakhouse, Jesslyn. Both these ladies went above and beyond in their roles to make my husband and I feel so extra special. Every morning before we went out Patty (the Guest Relations Manager) made sure she greeted us and helped us tremendously with finding the perfect sight seeking spots. She was extremely helpful, smart, funny and very helpful to us.
