The first time I came to Datong for a business trip, the hotel's environment was very good and clean. The front desk service was particularly warm and attentive, prompting that drinking water was needed, and the printing service could assist at any time. The quality of breakfast is also good. The rest is very quiet at night, and there is no need to turn on the air conditioner in summer, the room is fresh, very nice, Manager Yang praises, very emotional and very enthusiastic!

房間乾淨，設施很新，還贈送了零食。 服務非常好，店裡的小夥子看我們沒車，去雲岡石窟不方便，主動提出開車送我們過去！來回估計佔用了人家兩個小時，想給留一些油費，也堅決不要。感覺很過意不去。我們真切感受到大同人的淳樸熱情，下次希望還能再來大同，還住這裏。

We enjoyed our three nights stay in this hotel. Quiet and clean except for some not so pleasant smell from the bathroom. The staff are very friendly, helpful and responsive. This includes the free pickup transport driver, the front desk staff and the janitors as well. The breakfast provided by the hotel was so delicious and nutritious, too. We enjoyed the three mornings breakfast with different menu for three consecutive days. The chef and his wife were also very cheerful to see us enjoy their cooking. 👍👍👍👍👍 This hotel is located near to Datong South Railway Station. If you are using the public bus, there are five buses passing through :#68,#66,#61,#31,#14. Bus #68 & #66 also go to the city. The traveling time from the hotel to the city by public bus is about ½ an hour, ticket price is 2 Yuan each. It's only 20mins by taxi, 15-20 Yuan. There are also some eating shops nearby...

I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn all the way here. This time I returned to Datong, Shanxi. The lobby is magnificent, the reception service at the front desk is in place, and the breakfast is as good as always! I booked two different room types for two days. Xiaofeng at the front desk especially helped to upgrade the room type. I give it a thumbs up 👍🏻. I will patronize it again next time I travel.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights while exploring Datong and surrounding attractions. The location was perfect for us - nestled between both major train stations, a short walk to the old city, and conveniently very close to the bus station to the Hanging Monastry. The staff were very polite and helpful, some could speak some English. We were given various complimentary gifts and desserts during our stay. We loved the free tea (of various varieties) in the lobby! The room was a little old but clean, comfortable and quiet. I guess the only complaint is the elevator - they only have two but about 14 floors and it was utter chaos trying to move about in the morning when everyone wants to check out. Small issue though.

It cost 1,488 yuan to live in a Hampton by Hilton. There was almost no soundproofing. The sound of playing cards next door was loud in the middle of the night. The air conditioner kept showing d5 and not starting. In short, the experience was very different at this price. The only advantage may be that it is new.

Facilities: The hotel facilities are well-equipped, and there are many others. The dry and wet separation is very good, the environment is good, and it makes people feel happy. Hygiene: The room is hygienic and clean, with no smell of smoke or peculiar smell, and has a light fragrance. The bedding is neat and clean, the pillows are very comfortable, the whole room is dust-free, it looks very tidy, and all services are very clean. Environment: The room environment is good, the rooms are quite spacious and bright, the corridors and elevators are also very clean, the room layout is very warm, parking is convenient, and check-in is quick. Service: The staff are very enthusiastic and considerate. They make me feel like home and very cost-effective. The lady at the front desk is very enthusiastic and has great service awareness. The security guard is also very enthusiastic. I left my luggage at the front desk in the evening because I was in a hurry to go out. When we came back, they had already put it in our room for us. Highly recommended, great! ! !

When we arrived we were given the wrong room in B tower with single beds, we had to go back downstairs and show the booking again to request the correct double room in A tower. The rooms and amenities are old, and the fridge is broken. I called reception who told me to bring any items I want to cool down to the reception and use their fridge, when I asked if we can swap the broken fridge for a working fridge, they said all of the fridges are like this. They won't admit the fridges are all broken, but all of the fridges in the hotel are warm and won't make your food / beverages cold. The hotel is in dire need of an upgrade, and they need to replace the fridges.

The hotel is in a very good location, right on the road, with hotels and shopping malls nearby, making it very convenient for shopping and eating. The hotel front desk lady was very enthusiastic in helping me upgrade my room type. The apartment-style hotel password check-in was very convenient. The bathroom was very good with dry and wet separation, and there were free disposable face towels and bath towels, which felt very considerate. There is a large paid parking lot downstairs of the hotel, and there are hot pot restaurants, Hunan restaurants, knife-cut noodles, local specialty drinks, etc. There are also Sunji buns and knife-cut noodles nearby, so you can experience Datong cuisine when you go out.

I am from Malaysia, totally obsessed with this place and location, the person in charge, the lady explained to us the story and the history of this 2000 years old building Old Pipa ,I know is the old building with historic but didn't know the much story behind until I Google it, very appreciated that we still able to enjoy such a beautiful and well maintained room and building . The room come with a/c,hot shower smart toilet bowl, slipper and toothbrush and kettle. Breakfast is good. Love it. Hope people that come to stay here spent some time on the architectural and antiques that display in the duilding. Will definitely introduce to my friends and family if they visit 山西。
