Valet parked the car, no help with Luggage. On 14th floor. Nice room, Frosted glass bathroom door though. Big TV and opposite the bed. Quite a pleasant city view too. A large United States of America Building and a garden area that looks like it might be allotments. The hotel restaurant, The Trolley Room. About three people at the bar and no one eating. The waitress was lovely and friendly but useless really. I asked for tomato juice, yes, not spicy, no just juice, yes – NO, spicy! Yes to water, took ages after bar drinks delivered. I ordered a salad that should have had an egg on, no egg, but didn’t remember until too late unfortunately. My husband upgraded fries to truffle and meal came with ordinary, did change them. Waitress wanted us to reuse cutlery, really, no one else here, think you can spare them. To add insult to injury it took ages to get the bill, the waitress was too busy chatting in kitchen – I could see her. Good shower, comfy bed and pillows, useless coffee maker on a top shelf that you can neither see what you are doing nor open the lid to get water in. Breakfast in hotel is from a menu. Nice looking hotel interiors but facilities in room and service in restaurant let it down
