The room was one of the cleanest and most spacious we have stayed in. Everything that we needed was there. There was a laundry and parking right in front of where our room was. The kitchen was equipped with everything we could want. A walk or short drive into town. We would stay here again.

Our room was lovely and clean and also modern. We booked a twin room for 2 adults and 1 child and it was a little small with only 1 chair and minimal bench space. Other than this we were very happy with the room and would happily stay again. It's a little out of the way from the main street but was no bother for us as it's in a quiet area with minimal traffic noise. Also good undercover parking. Stairs are quite steep so book s ground room if that's an issue for you.

First impression was CLEAN! Next, I noted the room’s spaciousness. Granted, it was the disabled room (last room available). I did note rooms nearby appeared quite spacious from a quick glance inside. Whilst decore was sparse, the bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom too had a simple floor plan. It too was very clean. The kitchette, with microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery had sufficient bench space to prepare food. Whilst peacefully quiet, the accommodation was across a railway crossing and a good walk from the town centre. I drove to a good variety of eateries nearby. The only negative was the laundry, which sounded like it was in use the entire night. This was understandable. as many orange clad “high viz” shirted workers stay there on a regular basis.

A lovely property with everything you could need. The staff were brilliant with the many questions we had about the town. Our room overlooked the campsite next door, we were amused each morning and evening with the departure and arrival of the rainbow lorikeets. The hotel was within walking distance of local shops,pubs and restaurants

The room was clean, which is good. But a couple of things will make that I won't stay here again. No toilet paper in the room, and none given after phoning reception and leaving a message asking for more. But then the big one. The bed! It is a disgrace that people expect guests to sleep on that mattress. Sleeping in a canoe, with a bear attacking you while you're on fire would be more comfortable.

This motel was our home for four weeks. It had all of the facilities that we needed and was within walking distance from the main shops and the lovely botanical gardens. The owners, Kev and Gail, went above and beyond to make our stay very memorable and made this motel feel like a home away from home. I would definitely recommend this motel for anyone travelling to Emerald.

We really loved this motel the room was big and spacious and cooking facilities and table and chairs and a lovely black leather couch and the bed was so comfortable we had such a good nights sleep. The location was great close to everything. we had two nights and really wished we could stay longer. the laundry was very handy and washing machines and dryers. we used the laundry. we would stay again and hopefully longer next time. The Managers were very friendly and helpful Thankyou for our lovely stay.

New management are lovely friendly people. Room was spotlessly clean and roomy enough. Basic self cooking appliances. Dining service available as well. Located close to the highway but away from the noise. Very welcoming atmosphere - we'll be back!

Stayed for one night on the way to Longreach. Nice motel in a quiet location. Well appointed rooms with new bathroom. Fantastic park around the corner with equipment for all ages. Everything you need for an overnight stay.
