The hotel is very well located. Good room with good views. The bar street below is very noisy during the evening but the music stops at 23:30 every day. The room furniture is very good. I just have one remark. However the bathroom design is to be improved, there is only a bath and no curtains for shower. It is not possible to take a shower without spilling water everywhere on the floor. Special thanks to 管家小田姐姐和管家小龙姐姐 who have been very helpful during our stay. They have helped us to book a boat tour on the river, a good seat at the show and organized our safe transfer back to the train station. We have stayed in the phénix city for 3 days, I think the best is to stay only 2 days.

She helped to book a car, a show, and recommended my younger sister to take me to the ancient city. I didn't need to worry about the elderly's itinerary at all! Because both of us are older and it's easy to sleep poorly in a big bed room, the housekeeper was very nice and upgraded the room type! The location of the hotel is nice, it’s close to everything but not quite in the midst of all the loud bars and restaurants. The rooms themselves were fine, although the walls were a bit dirty, and much of the tile could have used more caulking. The entire counter of our sink moved if bumped. Also, there was something not quite right with our shower head. However, the bed was comfortable and you can’t just beat the view from the balcony. The owner was helpful when I took the initiative to add them on wechat as well. They gave us recommendations for food and advised us on where to do the river boat ride. Overall, a fine place to stay for a night in Fenghuang.

Overall it was a good stay. It is located at the end river section, so you can still see the lighting up at night but not as much as the middle section. The room was clean but the cushions on the chairs (balcony) were stained. Would suggest to not put cushions and just have Rattan chairs. The room is located at the fourth floor so we had to carry our suitcases up. We read the reviews prior booking so we kind of expected it too and didn't come as a shock. The staffs were very kind and help us to carry the suitcases together. We had an early day next day and the kitchen staffs served us our breakfast prior to the official breakfast start time.

I recently stayed at this hotel. The good news is that the place was pretty clean, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. However, the bad news is that the whole hotel reeked of smoke, thanks to the chain-smoking neighbors. The lobby, hallways, canteen, and even my room were all filled with that nasty smell.

Excellent experience! Very central location although not in a too noisy environment, considering the very commercial old town of Fenghuang can be very noisy until late. The staff is very friendly and eager to help, although it does only speak Chinese. The manager even offered me to join his dinner and to accompany him and his friend to a light and sound show downtown (although I'm not a big fan of those, I must admit I was very pleased and impressed to watch it). I totally recommend this hotel, which rooms are priced very fairly.

Hotel close to the river but 10 minutes walk, the rooms do not have a direct view of the river. Comfortable beds and large bathroom with shampoo and soap supplies. Bottle of water with kettle in the room. To go to the river, take the sidewalk opposite the hotel and turn left, after 3 minutes of walking you will see stairs going down, you will have to take these stairs.

The experience was not good! First, the superior king-size bed room I booked was equipped with a bathtub as written in the special king-size bed room. It was very inconvenient to take a shower, and it was not a private bathroom. Second, such a large hotel does not have disposable slippers! Only sandals! I went to the convenience store downstairs to find a big brother to buy disposable slippers, but I couldn't buy them, so I could only take out two pairs. This hotel in Fenghuang was excellent! We were both American tourists that speak minimal Mandarin, and the owners were very patient in communicating with us. The owners were overall extremely kind, and they even upgraded our room for free. They also even walked us to the bus station when we left. The room was very clean and it was a great deal at its price. It was a perfect stay, and I would recommend anyone to stay here as well.

Room was good; comfortable bed, bathroom was fine, room was clean, and had a little desk and kettle too. Location is great, right in the heart of the ancient town and close to so many key parts. Booked in last minute (as my original hotel was abandoned when I arrived ( called ”Yuanmengzhan (Phoenix Ancient City Branch” - don't go there!), so the man was very understanding and accommodating. Overall great value.
