Rooms with garden views have no view and are connected to the adjacent garden. There were big ants on the bed, and there were small glass shards in the bathroom that came from nowhere. There was black rust on the bottom of the water pot and it could not be used, but I could not find customer service that night.

We went to stay for our 19th Anniversary, I even sent a note with teh booking saying anything nice you can do to acknoweldge this would be great - upon check-in - no recognition, the room was clean and tidy and nicley laid out, but for waht is essentially a nice Motel Room, the Rack rate of $350+ seems a bit steep, even if then can capitlise on the location, but hey it includes a hot breakfast, so maybe there is a chance to redeem the overall value persepctive there, Nope! no espresso coffee unless you pay for it, the Chili Scrambled Eggs with Chorizo, was served on a single slice of Sourdough and the Chorizo portion entailed 4 thin slices of Chorizo, my wifes Mushrooms on Toast was not much better, there was nothing on the side, no ability for fruit salad's or Yoghurts that I could see - possibly one of the poorer Hotel breakfasts I have had. I am not sure if this impacted the overall result, because it shouldn't have, they obvioulsy still had a functioning kitchen, but when we arrived half the Hotel or thereabouts was undergoing renovations, perhaps the could have let us know this in advance.

Lovely hotel with spacious and clean rooms. Rooms and packages were great, we enjoyed the bathing package at the Peninsula Hot Springs. The reservations team made sure we had our voucher to use before checking in which meant we had a great day.
