The location of the hotel is quite good, few minutes walk from Tenjin station, however, I didn't see there is any elevator or escalator from the station to street level, so if you are carrying a heavy luggage, that maybe a bit trouble.
The room cleanliness is not up to standard, you will find it's quite dusty on the desk or the area near headboard, room is a bit small but it's fine for my solo stay.
The window can be open is a plus to me, as I don't like to on the heat even winter time, most of the hotel cannot adjust the AC mode from heat to cold, so I prefer to open a bit of window to allow the ventilation and make the room a bit chill.
Overall I am happy with my stay.

I visited in October 2018. It is located about 3 minutes from Hakata Station and take the subway to get off at Tangjincho Station. It is also close to Yahooku Dome and I think it is convenient for watching baseball. The room is standard impression and a bit old, but the lobby is clean and good impression. Breakfast feels a little less variety, but it is a certain extent.

I’m a frequent guest at Millennial Kyoto and couldn’t be more delighted to hear that they open a new hotel in Fukuoka. Millennials Fukuoka is in a strategic location close to restaurants, mini marts, and lots of stuff going on in the Area. It’s sparkling clean and well run. Their staff, especially Faith are extremely helpful. I had a great stay and would love to return when I’m back in Fukuoka.

This is the most disgusting and despicable thing any hotel management can do is to chase my father off the premises when he was waiting quietly for me downstairs to have breakfast. I am staying with my mother in this hotel and since they’re not together anymore, my father decided to wait for me at the quiet third floor banquet. I was just getting ready to meet my father when the security manager and his team of security threatened my father with Police to arrest him! To which my father replied that his lawyer will sue them for malicious prosecution! Since he was just quietly sitting at the sofa waiting for his son to come down! Not having issues. Eventually, my father removed himself from the hotel but yet; the security manager was physically manhandling my father while at the lobby by grabbing his arm even though he was walking normally! The security manager was just trying to create a scene with my father. DO NOT STAY HERE! These people here are vile and vindictive in their demeanours! Totally unprofessional and have no work ethics! No services from the heart ❤️ They are a total disgrace to the hospitality industry! Definitely not a 5 Star Hotel in services but more like a putrid fish market!

Since extra beds are not available, we paid to upgrade to the family room type, which has two large and two small beds and four beds. There is also a living room space with an unparalleled wide sea view. Absolutely great value. If it weren't for the fact that I couldn't extend my stay, I would really like to stay here again.
This should be the Hilton with the highest standards that I have stayed in besides the star hotel in Hollywood.
Regarding breakfast:
•Purchase of additional breakfast is possible on that day, but due to the limited capacity our staffs
may not be able to accommodate if the capacity is over.
•To manage congestion, we have set time restrictions for breakfast. Please arrive with ample time.
•Business hours and offerings are subject to change without prior notice.
•We do not offer meals specifically for children.

The hotel is in a great location and the selling point is the breakfast. However, I feel that like everywhere else in Japan, the food outside the hotel (which is a lot of options since in Nakasu) are better. So no need to specially choose for their breakfast. their bathtub is huge though.

Pretty much your standard clean and efficient Japanese hotel with professional customer service and spacious rooms. I stayed in the renovated tower which was modern and with all the basic amenities. Hotel is conveniently located in front of a major bus stop which you can take to the main attraction areas if you don't feel like walking (15-20min) There is a nice restaurant and bar in the lobby which serves delicious Japanese style hamburger steaks, ate there 2x during my stay. There are also many food options ranging from gourmet pizza to local hole in the wall ramen shops around the hotel.

Nestled in the heart of Hakata, this hotel offers a haven of convenience within easy reach of delectable dining options, vibrant attractions, and transportation hubs.
As a first-time visitor to Fukuoka, I was enamored by the city's charm, and this hotel quickly became a highlight of my trip. From tantalizing late-night eats to leisurely shopping strolls and serene photo spots free from tourist throngs, Fukuoka had it all.
Upon arrival, it's essential to note that there are two hotels with the same name; the one we selected, situated in Gion, stands just a few blocks from the Hakata outlet. (A friendly reminder: Opt for metered taxis over the airport counters to avoid inflated fares.)
Check-in was seamless, and the hotel graciously accommodated our request to store luggage as we explored the city. Their self-service storage option, complete with a secure four-pin lock, provided peace of mind throughout our stay.
The hotel boasted comprehensive amenities, surpassing those of the three other accommodations we sampled during our journey. Our room, generously sized, easily accommodated our luggage with ample space to spare.
The provided onsen attire was remarkably comfortable, so much so I wore it out under my jacket for the second night! I recommend heading to the onsen in the afternoon and past midnight to avoid the crowd. Post-soak, complimentary popsicles awaited—a delightful treat indeed.
Pro tip: ince their onsen is located on the 1st level of the hotel, you can store your onsen items in the locker before heading out to explore. After a long day, you can head to the onsen to ”defrost” and clean up before heading up to sleep.
Equipped with a smart TV, our room offered the luxury of streaming our favorite YouTube and Netflix content, adding a touch of familiarity to our evenings. Another standout feature was the live updates on onsen availability and laundry room usage—though it's worth noting that the latter incurs a fee, a minor inconvenience amidst an otherwise stellar stay.
This hotel exceeded expectations, providing unparalleled comfort and unparalleled convenience. With all essentials at our doorstep, exploration was effortless, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Fukuoka.

Good location. Good price. Friendly and accommodating staff. Clean hotel. Looks new. BUT... (1) I find the room too dark. There is a hallway light with sensor that I wished had a switch that could turn it on/off. It could’ve added brightness to the room. (2) The air-conditioner is centralized, you cannot control it. The air is not enough to cool the warm room. There was a time that warm air was being emitted so we had to open the window for cooler air. But opening the window lets you hear the street noise. (3) Toilet/Bathroom is small. If you are tall, you cannot comfortably sit when doing your business. (4) The hallway of the room is too narrow. But the bed area of our twin room is wide. If these are OK with you, it is still a nice hotel to stay in.

For those who dont mind a 10 min walk to Hakata Station its not bad. Public onsen was a plus for hubby. Too bad we did not use the open air private onsen in our room as weather was too cold for us but the shower massager was also a plus. Room is standard Japanese size which is smaller than International standard. Overall we have no major complaints. Front desk staff put in their best effort to communicate in English. Thumbs UP!

Outstanding
PP CLocation is excellent & convenient. You can easily access to the subway station at B1 especially on a rainy day. Lot of restaurants around the area. Service is good & the front desk staffs are very helpful, can speak fluent English.
GGuest UserWe reserved 4 residential twin rooms in Tokyo Stay Tenjin from Aug 20th to 24th. As a frequent travellers (5-8 times to Japan annually), originally we had a very pleasant stay (prime location, all rooms are clean and we love the washing+drying machine in each room), until we experienced the life-time worst customer service.
I requested for 2 hours late check out extension to 1pm and agreed to pay for additional charges for all rooms (2000 yen per hour per room and I paid 16000 yen in total).
We experienced an unexpected long lunch on 24th and I sent a mail (at 12:30pm) via Tokyo Stay site to request for extension to 2pm (instead of 1pm).
When we returned hotel at 1:20pm, one of the staff pulled his face, scolded and yelled at my family members loudly in Japanese, and he kept doing that in 3 of our rooms, even yelling at elderly and children of my family.
My family members felt humiliated and were very upset. They told me that unpleasant experience, so I looked for that staff at front desk and asked the reason for the yelling and scolding, especially when we paid for all charges for extension. I used google translate in Japanese with speaker and there wasn’t any reply. When I asked for his name, he took off his name tag, ignored my request and said providing his name is against their privacy policy (All other staff were wearing name tags except him). He threatened to report to the police, if I keep asking for his name! Wait, what?
So I want to ask: 1: Does the policy of Tokyo Stay allow staff to yell and scold customers when they do late check out? (not to mention we informed and paid for charges already) 2: It’s your policy to report your customers to the police when they ask your staff for their names?
HHARUYUKIIt's a wonderful hotel. We had no problems at the hotel. The cleanliness, service and breakfast were satisfactory. I would like to stay at this hotel again when I come to Hakata.
TTY11I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oriental Hotel in Fukuoka, and it was truly an experience to remember.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm Japanese hospitality and was quickly checked-in by the friendly staff. The lobby was beautifully decorated.
My room was clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The high-speed Wi-Fi was reliable, which was a plus for my trip. The bed was comfortable.
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's restaurant. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety of both Japanese and Western options.
The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a short walk from the train and bus stations, which is full of shopping, and restaurants.
My overall experience was fantastic. The Oriental Hotel Fukuoka offers a comfortable stay, excellent service, and a unique blend of tradition and modernity. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka!

GGuest UserI was attracted to the good location of 2 stations by subway airport line from Fukuoka Airport to Hakata Station and about 2 minutes walk from subway Hakata Station to the hotel. This time, I wanted to go to Shimonoseki, Ogura and Yamaguchi Prefecture based in Hakata, so I had a comfortable stay. The amenities were a style that took you from the corner in front of the front desk to the room for as much as you needed, and I felt that it was a good attempt from the viewpoint of environmental protection. I want to stay again. Thank you.
PPgcresRoom size for a 3 Bedder room is still alright for us. There are lots of restaurants around the hotel. If you get to the hotel via Exit 6 from Tenjinminami Station, there is no escalator or lift and takes about 8 minutes from the exit. There is a lift from the station opposite of exit 6 though (near Diamaru) which we used when we left the hotel to go to airport.
GGuest UserStyle and cheap. Corona fin is also considered and can be checked in without any face-to-face. However, attention is necessary when checking in. The touch panel does not respond if it is not put on the toe. It is a little sharp because it is statalus below, and it reacts completely if it does not operate. When I check in, I don't forget to receive QR cards, and there are several receipts, and there is QR written in them, but it is used because there is a card card big thing that is not this. Use in elevators, lockers. Please be careful about the in-lock of the locker (card key locking). The pot has USB and 100 v outlets, but because it is a wall, a large repair adapter needs attention. There are many shower rooms and no problems. The elevator is divided into male and female. 9 The lounge on the floor has a private room where you can work. It may be good for work.
AAmirahGion stn exit 2. No escalator or lift at that exit. This is an unmanned hotel. Self service check in and check out using tablets. Had trouble checking in because could not find my reservation even after trying a few times. Called the operator using the link in the tablet and he helped resolved immediately.
1 laundry machine located next to the entrance. Free coffee from 7am to 8pm. Free breakfast too. Free towel and toileteries. Only 1 lift but I never had to wait long. No room cleaning service even if stay more than 1 night but can return and replace towel. I stayed 7 nights and got nothing to complain except the bidet in toilet not functioning.
GGuest UserI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel that truly exceeded my expectations in terms of convenience, transportation, and facilities. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel's strategic location, which made exploring the city a breeze.
The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of the city, surrounded by various amenities such as shopping centers, restaurants, and entertainment venues. This prime location allowed me to easily access popular tourist attractions, business districts, and transportation hubs, ensuring that I made the most of my time during my stay.
Speaking of transportation, the hotel's proximity to public transportation options was a major plus. Within a short walking distance, I had access to bus stops, and subway stations. This made navigating the city hassle-free and saved me precious time that I could spend on other activities.
When it comes to the hotel facilities, they were nothing short of excellent. The moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a modern and elegant ambiance. The staff members were friendly and attentive, ensuring that I felt welcome and comfortable throughout my stay.
The rooms were well-designed, and impeccably clean. The comfortable beds provided a restful night's sleep, and the amenities provided were of high quality.
Overall, my experience at this hotel was outstanding. Its convenient location, coupled with easy access to transportation, made exploring the city a breeze. The excellent facilities and the comfortable rooms ensured that my stay was both relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a convenient oasis with top-notch amenities.
TTravelholicsThe location is good as it connected to a sizable shopping mall. The room is decent small but there was very poor sound proof. The musical fountain next to the hotel with loud volume awoke us every 10am in the morning. On the last day of our stay in 7am. The couple next door were having noisy adult exercise… bang bang bang… to the wall between our room was sucks. We heard their yelling and breathing clearly all thru the time. We didnt take any photos from the room…Its really a terrible experience for our stay….n we will not come again..
