Tired Hotel, with limited and dwindling facilities. Closing down 2 days after visit, yet Premier Inn did not advise when booking and still charged full rates!!

Simply not worth the money. We spent £150 for room and breakfast. Rooms terribly dated, they felt dirty as a result. No fresh air. You can’t even open a window. Breakfast poor quality and value. Don’t bother with it, if you HAVE to stay here. Would never stay again. Much better accommodation in the near by town.

noise from the traffic passing plus dust allergies from myself and my daughter led to a not very good night's sleep which is what we sorely needed as we were attending a funeral of a very important family member

We stayed in room 16 and it was very poor. The heating didn't work properly and was extremely noisy through the night - had to get up twice to stop the vibrations. The bathroom heater didn't work. There was mould on the bathroom ceiling and the grout was dirty. The sink tap was dreadfully slow. The room looked shabby. The whole room was in dire need of renovation. We were glad we only stayed one night. It was also very expensive by Premier Inn standards. The Beefeater restaurant worked well and staff were lovely.

Premier In was everything you might expect from a Premier Inn. However, the Beefeater Restaurant had very little heating and was a very very cold area to sit and eat in. Also, if they were not busy we were told that the restaurant would close at 8pm, sometimes earlier. Something not good for late arrivals.

Nice little hotel. Old but very nice and clean Denise checked me in quickly despite the difficult new system. She was very friendly, actually the most welcoming I ever experienced in a Premier Inn. The restaurant is close and Anna was very attentive.

I stayed to visit family that live in the area, it was really nice to stay in a hotel that had character and that wasn’t your bog standard premier inn. The staff were so lovely and helpful and rooms were clean. The food from the adjoining beefeater was nice.

I stayed here while attending a funeral, the compassion, professionalism and kindness of the staff is incredible. I couldn’t fault them. The room was lovely and clean and just what you expect. Thank you for a nice stay! I hope to stay with you again.

Lovely little hotel, we enjoyed our stay apart from one staff member who made us not likely to return. Hannah was incredibly rude and didn’t seem to have a care in the world about us or our stay. We arrived to the hotel quite late, as we greeted her she looked as if she didn’t want to be there at all and was so rude and unwelcoming. I hope premier inn see this and consider who they use as their face of the business.
