The bad: Noisy- VERY! children running around and Screaming at full volume (very scary) until past midnight. Parents oblivious and Partying on their front- drinking, smoking and playing very loud music until 3am and shouting accorss properties. The swimming pool sunbeds were all 'taken' by 9am - for most of the day no one was even present! The swimming pool bar guy ignored ALL the 'reserved' sunbeds (told me i had to arrive early!) sold drinks in glasses that were then used in the pool! The air conditiong did not work in the sperated 'bed' room. and the TV broke. Very Small shower. Bed linen was cheap and therfor sweaty. Nightime chinese watchman could not care less about anything. You have to pay extra to use the safe (bad). the ok: the location is a resonable distance from the (in)famous Yumo centre and about 10mins from a mini supermarket, and about twenty miuntes from the nearest beach. The accomodation is Basic with cooking implements for two people, small hob and fridlge. The main 'room' has a wall between it/kitchen and the bed 'space'. big wardrobes and then a small bathroom with sink, toilet and small shower - no window or ventialtion? To be fair the cleaners did a good job. The grounds were tidy, but there were very large communal bins that are unsightly and smelt with all the piled up rubbish. shame. Summary: whilst this was never advertised as 'adults only ' the terrifying noise from children and their parents ruined the stay. The accomdation was clean, but basic. The swimming pool & sunbed situation is unacceptable, and represents poor management. - there is far nicer accomodation next door (adults only) that is very modern, very clean and very quiet. (sadly was fully booked, maybe for a reason?) I would not stay here again.

My recent stay at Rebecca Park was incredibly disappointing and downright unsafe. The only positive aspect of our stay was the diligent and friendly cleaner. Unfortunately, everything else about the accommodation left much to be desired. Firstly, there is a glaring lack of security at this establishment. People can come in and out as they please, creating an environment that feels more like a chaotic hostel than a holiday resort. There are no security measures in place to ensure the safety and comfort of guests, which is alarming. The place was overrun with kids running around screaming at all hours, throwing used nappies about, adults standing around drinking and causing disturbances throughout the day and night. This made it nearly impossible to relax or enjoy any peace and quiet during our stay. It’s worth mentioning that this is not a nice place for British tourists, as the atmosphere felt particularly hostile towards us. The resort is mainly full of Spanish guests who don't seem to like British tourists. We felt very unwelcome, especially around the pool area. The manager even told us that it would be best to stay out of the pool and use the beach instead, he said the place isn't good when it's full of Spanish guests and i would be best to visit in October. When we walked past the Canarian people on our row, they would laugh, spit, or say bad words. They would also say Englishand spit. I tried to say hello and so did my disabled daughter but we was ignored. We felt very intimidated in these situations. There was groups of people that would block the walk ways when we tried to get passed. In our particular case, we faced a terrifying incident where an unidentified person opened our window, pulled back the curtain, and threw a stone at my young daughter while she was getting dressed. She was Petraeus. We felt incredibly unsafe, and the hotel staff’s response was grossly inadequate. Despite my pleas for assistance and a request to be moved to another room, we were simply advised to keep our window closed, as we weren't safe. With no air conditioning, this made for an unbearably warm and uncomfortable situation. The Spanish people specifically targeted us with the stone, there was no stones outside the window, and I had no choice but to leave halfway through our stay due to this incident. The atmosphere at Rebecca Park was hostile, particularly for British guests. The lack of support and the indifferent attitude of the hotel staff left us feeling abandoned and vulnerable. Even though I found alternative accommodations by myself, I still felt so scared that I waited until I got home to write this review, fearing those people might see us again if I spoke out while still in Gran Canaria. The manager mentioned that he had put up a sign to say no visitors, as people were just coming into the complex saying they were visiting for coffee. Yet later on that night, my daughter had the stone thrown at her through the window. The receptionist said

Shocking holiday, never stayed anywhere else that lets children run a mock until 3am, pool not big enough for amount of holiday makers. Air con only in certain rooms, 1 ceiling fan not adequate for the summer months. Unable to leave windows open due to noise and children opening the curtains to peer in. No privacy!! Oh and cockroaches to boot.

My first time at Rebecca Park, and I loved it ! It was very quiet ,I guess being shortly after Pride, my bungalow was as described, and everything was actually better than expected. The new A/C in the bedroom was greatly appreciated, even in May...The cleaning lady was very friendly, and efficient, always asking if you want clean towels etc, even sweeping outside the bungalow everyday due to the sand blowing in,also a table and 4 chairs and 2 sun loungers were outside each unit. The 3 pools , sunbeds etc were immaculate . I didnt eat onsite so cant comment. The grounds were very well maintained and clean. One unit is wheelchair-friendly, having wider doors etc. The Yumbo Centre is 5 minutes on foot, a bus stop is 3 minutes away , only 1.40 euro to the Faro Lighthouse bus terminal followed by a short walk to the amazing Maspalomas sand dunes ! A supermarket was 5 minutes walk away, or, of course, the many, many shops of the Yumbo...My return flight was 8pm, so I was able to safely leave my luggage at reception until my pick-up time and still spend the day out .I hope to return soon.

First class , Really can't fault the staff (Marcos) The first time we had tried self-catering, and we'd never go back. After the initial hick up by on the beach by not booking our apartment, Marcus put us at ease told us to relax and got us both a drink (On the house ) 10/10 The bungalow we had was fine kettle, toaster, lovely terrace can't fault it. Lovely cleaning staff. Will definitely be coming back 10/10

I've been to PDI many times but this is the first time staying in Rebecca Park. My first thought when I walked into the bungalow was "oh my god, we've made a mistake". However, once I properly looked around, it wasn't as bad as I first thought. Positives The bungalow is fairly spacious, plenty of room for a sofa, and table and chairs in the kitchen/lounge area without being cramped. The bedroom had 2 single beds which were both comfortable. The shower was powerful and hot water was plentiful. The surroundings were pleasant and well kept. It's in a reasonably good locations, a few minutes walk from the Yumbo centre. Negatives The worst thing was the shower. The base was partially collapsed and looked filthy, we wore socks every time we showered, and the wall attachment was broken so you couldn't set it up easily. The kitchen area had the absolute bare minimum, a small saucepan, a toaster and kettle and some very cheap looking crockery and cutlery. Tiny teacup, no mugs, and although there is a microwave, there are no microwave safe bowls, so you'd have to buy some. No draining area by the sink. All in all, it was OK. The pool area looked clean and tidy, although I didn't try it. Would I stay there again? Yes, but only if nowhere else was available.
