We stayed for 2 nights as part of a self-driving tour of Andalucia. (Also visiting, Ronda, Seville, Cordoba and Malaga), and while it was a very good standard hotel, and the most expensive one we stayed in on our trip, it was not our favourite. The good points - it is a great central location. There is a lovely cool, calm reception area, with helpful staff. Really loved the downstairs courtyard and breakfast room area, and breakfast was very good. The bedroom itself was very spacious with good A/C. We had a lovely view over the courtyard. Considering the cost of the hotel though, we were a little disappointed not to find a walk-in shower, - that we had to climb into the bath in order to take a shower! A little surprising for a 5 star hotel. Also, once you opened the wardrobe to access the minibar or safe, most of the shelving was very dusty. (Hence the loss of 1 star for the review).
