Travelodge Harrogate

We were given a room overlooking the next door Wetherspoons pub and above another bar/club. The a/c units at W'spoons/Club were noisy even with the quad glazing. In the morning (0600-0800) there was a lot of noise from pub deliveries and glass being put into bins etc. On the second night there was an event in the bar below and we could hear/feel the vibration from the music into the early hours. I know Travelodge can't help their neighbours and the hotel was ok but we won't choose this particular hotel again

This hotel does not have air-conditioning to prevent the room overheating which it does because you cannot open the windows or else you you hear intolerable noise from the nightclub on the bottom floor of the hotel or from the bar / club across the road until 2:30am. Even with the windows closed the sound deadening is not good enough to let you enjoy a nights sleep as you still hear the noise and you roast in the room. We stayed on a Friday night but I would imagine that it is the same on other nights of the week. There is no mention of this in the Travelodge literature.

Convenient and very central hotel with basic but comfy room which was good for the price. However, we were kept awake until after 2am with the bars and nightclub noise/music. We therefore would not choose this hotel again.

Great location, close to lots of restaurants and a clean, quiet location. Very welcoming receptionist who is helpful and very warm and friendly.

Stayed here and left the make up my room hanger on the door as advised before 11am when I returned I had new towels but the bed hadn’t been made, surely this is a basic requirement in a hotel which costs £125 per night in fact I a hotel full stop would put me off staying here again

This hotel is in a great location close to wether spoons for food and the high street shops etc are just 2 minute walk.

We stayed in for a family wedding in Harrogate which was only a 15 min during to the destination so that was handy.. The hotel is so close to bars and restaurants n shops.

The hotel is clean andd comfortable although will require some refurbishment in the next couple of years. Adjacent parking very close and not expensive.

Clean and well located. Bars opposite the hotel were noisy in the late evening/early morning, so ask for a room away from the street. Good value basic hotel.
