We reached the hotel early at around 8am. Left our luggage with the hotel and went out for a walk in the day market which was about 10 - 15mins walk from the hotel, thanks to the helpful directions given by the hotel staff. Checkin was a breeze and the staff let us check in earlier at around 12.30pm as there was rooms available. Room decor is basic with a ceiling fan to augment the aircon to cool down the room quicker. It looks like the same liquid soap used for hand wash and bathe. There is hot water for shower, but there is no toothbrush, toothpaste and bedroom slippers provided. Can't remember if a kettle and bottled water were provided but there is a provision shop beside the hotel to purchase bottled water. Location of the hotel is in between the Hat Yai train station and the day / night market.

Place is good and just beside Central Hatyai Festival which is good for people who travel to HatYai for shopping purpose😂but if u not change money yet please do at your country because inside the Central Hatyai no money changer able to help you (maybe depends on currency rate dif between country) and MAKRO also walking distance. For the hotel facilities really good and clean they do provide basic ammenities and they have hair dryer and also they have lift so no worries for those who travel with ur parents. Their staff also very helpfull and friendly. For Malaysian bear in mind if you dont change money yet the deposit cost is RM200 or 1000 baht. I will come to stay at here again.

First time staying here, booked here due to hotel I prefer is fully booked, but unexpectedly I kinda like this hotel. Location is strategic, around 5 minutes walk to Lee garden, have massage service and restaurant at lobby. The reception speak English well, check in/ out process is quick and easy. Room is clean and bed is super comfy, sleep so well at there. Have basic amenities and hairdryer, just the fridge is not very cold. Will book here again in future.

We booked 2 x Deluxe room with breakfast , Hotel is located makro, shopping centre & night market . I like the location , very convenient and easy to access every where. There provide carpark too. The swimming pool is big & have gym room too. The room is big for me to put 2 big luggage .The staff can't really speak english fluently . Sometimes there don't understand what i asking or explain. The room is clean & the sound prove too. The most important for me is sound prove . i will be back again this hotel . Highly recommend my friends and family .

There must have been a receptionist conference happening because when I checked in there were seven ladies behind a counter designed for two. I had arrived before 2pm check in time but they took care of my baggage whilst I went out to get something to eat. I think it is inappropriate to put pressure on hotel staff to try and get an early check in, like I have read in reviews on TA. My room was spacious, clean, modern looking and everything worked just fine. Plenty of hanging space and shelving for clothes. Unlike others who find the most trivial things to complain about I think you would be hard pressed to complain about anything here. A personal negative was that all the cable TV stations were in Thai but that's not unusual throughout rural Thailand. No bid deal. There are also no restaurants nearby but there is a food market and Greenway Night Market nearby. Asean Night Bazaar is also within walking distance. Special thanks to the reception staff for their friendly and helpful demeanour. They sorted my tuk tuk for me so that I could visit specific attractions that I had researched as well as my taxi to the airport, both at reasonable prices. Taxis and tuk tuks do not have a very good reputation in Hat Yai.

The location is great and has car parking available. It’s an old hotel with renovation. The room is spacious and clean. Their service is good. One thing I don’t like about this hotel is that their window is covered with blue film and it quite irritating to eyes. (You can refer to the photos I posted here) Other than that, this hotel is very value for money and that’s the best part! So, I still recommend this hotel to any travelers.

Hubby and I just wanted a short vacation is southern Thailand without too much hassle and traveling. We chose to stay in city center and required a comfortable reasonable priced hotel which was easy access to the two night hawkers, temples and the four famous markets which sold local products and wares. We found VL Hatyai after reading the numerous reviews. Our room was on the 11th floor with a great view of the city and it was spacious and clean. The twin beds and pillows were very comfortable and a kettle for making coffee was provided. A large TV with various English, Chinese and Thai channels were provided and we even had a fridge and hair dryer which were unusual for the price we paid. Due to the comfort we decided to stay 5 nights and ventured to tour outskirts of Hatyai on day trips to the Floating Market and Stainless Steel Temple.

It is a perfect hotel for relaxing. And travel in Hat Yai a lot, beautiful rooms, clean, minimalist style, perfect style. There is also a living corner on the 2nd floor, suitable for resting, chatting and most importantly, there is a welcome snack as well when staying. In the room there is also drinking water, tea, Kae, Ovaltine. Very good service staff Especially the sister who is smiling and ready to recommend throughout the stay.
