Henniker Motel

Henniker Motel was perfect for our slope side getaway. I didn’t know what to expect with the mixed reviews online, but we were very happy with our stay. Room 9 had vinyl flooring, clean white linens on the beds, and it looks like the walls were freshly painted. The owner, Tim was so accommodating from time of booking and throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we parked outside our room, got dressed to ski, and walked to the chairlift. You cannot beat the location! After a day of skiing, the indoor heated pool was awesome for our family. The Keurig machine in the lobby by the pool was great. The cozy room next to the pool with the wood burning fireplace and lots of seating was a gem. We ordered pizza from Western Ave pizzeria and they delivered and Tim offered plates, napkins and utensils and showed us how the coffee tables lifted so we could sit on the comfy couches and eat by the fire. I would highly recommend staying here. It was a clean and comfortable place to stay so we could ski and use a heated pool in February, which was perfect for our family with young kids. We will definitely be back next school vacation week!

What a nice and quiet place to spend a night or two. It was a fluke we found this place because the big name hotels wouldn’t allow kitty cats. Tim was great and allowed us to have our cats with us. This little hotel is very clean and plain, it has good mattresses and clean white bedding. A big window to look out over the valley and what a great spot for relaxing, going for a hike or close drive to antique shops along the way. Its not fancy, but we are not fancy people. So remote and out of the way. We loved it!! We put it into our facebook as a recommendation.

So close to Pat's Peak!! The manager/ owner is super friendly and lives on the property so he is readily available and so friendly and helpful! The rooms are super clean. Our room was cozy warm upon arrival. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean with some nice complimentary toiletries. While the motel could use a little superficial "lipstick", it was a cozy, clean, friendly place to stay and we will definitely be back!!

This hotel was one of the worst. Not well maintained. Room was dark, tiny, bathroom very small with no room for toiletries. Walls are paper thin-room next door had the tv on all night-no one got any sleep. Price was high for such an awful room.

Very nice place with awesome owner and house keeper !!! Clean, comfy and friendly peeps !!! Very picturesque and peaceful area. Was a very relaxing place both inside and out !! There is a great breakfast place just 1/2 mile away !! Thanks for a great stay !! Will be back again next year !!! :)

What a great motel. We literally walked across the parking lot to the ski area. Be sure to get a room with a balcony- so nice to be able to sit outside with a coffee and enjoy the morning. We were there late season and have the entire motel almost to ourselves. The pool was clean and the perfect size and temperature (not too hot!) the beds were comfortable- linens were really nice. You do have to hold the toilet flush down the entire time, but that’s just something to remember (and remind your parter of!). The turtles were crawling all over each other- we debated if it was a dominance thing or they were just trying to get closer to the lightbulb. My partner hiked up to the summit after dark- and saw three other skiers at the top. Great mountain, great hotel. We’re ready to move in.
