Our weekend at the Pier was simply magnificent. It might be a bit far from the city yes, but it wasn’t that hard to get to the hotel. We just took the green minibus 1A from choi hung mtr station and it was quite convenient. And we only found out that the hotel offered free shuttle bus services after we arrived. Anyway. The hotel room was so lovely. The room was really spacious and came with our own terrace. Everything was clean and neat. However, we couldn’t really see much of the water from our terrace. Also, each terrace was too closely located to one another. There wasn’t much near the hotel, but like it was very cozy.

On my first day in Hong Kong, I chose a small family hotel that is not far from the Hong Kong-Kowloon Express Rail Station and close to Victoria Harbour. The location is quite good. The room is small but the facilities are complete and clean. I booked two small beds. The twin room was no longer available when I went there. The landlady upgraded me to a room with a larger bed and a small bed for free. The price is cheaper than that of a star hotel. If I didn’t consider it convenient to visit Victoria Peak and Bauhinia Square the next day, Repulse Bay, etc., will continue to stay.
MONDRIAN HONG KONG offers guest rooms in the beating heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong’s most vibrant neighbourhood, with elements inspired by Hong Kong’s rich history. The hotel designed by Karin Krautgartner, features design flourishes like a floating minibar and sweeping Victoria Harbour and island sky-line vistas, plus curated works and performances by local artists. Located in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui with immediate MTR access and proximity to the West Kowloon Cultural District. Towering 40 floors, state-of-the-art wellness facilities, Carna by Dario Cecchini, a contemporary steakhouse from Tuscany designed by Joyce Wang, and Avoca, a hip bar using a cutting-edge system and a 40th floor rooftop space for cultural collaborations.

If you want to be in the heart of things, The Mondrian is definitely in it. Bars and restaurants are steps away in all directions. The K11 mall is a short walk away, as is The Harbour Promenade. The MTR is about a 100 meters from the hotel entrance. The hotel itself is billed as a 5-star hotel; I found that to be wishful thinking. The lobby is spare, almost minimalist. We paid a premium for a larger room with what we assumed would be a ”skyline” view, even requested a room with a view of the harbour. Instead, the view offered glimpses of the harbour. I will say that is was quite roomy and comfortable. The drawdown shades provided pitch darkness, which was too dark, because my girlfriend could have slept until and not realized it was daylight. ;-) The bathroom was also big with a nice powerful shower. However, I would expect a 5-star hotel to provide a couple of water bottles and not just a small water filtering machine that required guests to fill it up with tap water. I would expect a 5-star hotel to provide laundry services. And I'd expect better than a cheap U.S.$50 coffee machine. On a final note, the service staff were extremely friendly!
Hygiene: The bed sheets and quilts are neat and clean, unlike the pure white ones in hotels. On the contrary, the simple patterned bed sheets and quilts are very comfortable and warm, giving people a feeling of being at home.
Environment: The city center of Hong Kong is very close to Victoria Harbor. You must choose this hotel when traveling. You don’t have to miss a day out to take your parents to walk around Victoria Harbor to see the night view. There is a subway station downstairs, so traveling is so convenient!
Service: The staff are very nice. They arranged check-in and helped with luggage, which was so considerate.
Facilities: The mattresses are comfortable to sleep on. Each room has its own bathroom and a password to enter the door. It is very safe. It is also very convenient to use the password to open the door when the family does not come back together. This check-in experience is great.

The guest house is in a prime location with MTR just meters away. The amenities are clean, the room is small but that’s just reflected by the price you pay. Overall the room is clean and you needed key cards to get in making it very safe. However I did have an incident mainly due to the language barrier, so make sure both parties are 100% sure on what is being agreed to.

This hotel is brilliant location and is surrounded by great restaurants.
This is one of the first hotels I stayed in when I came to HK and stayed here multiple times over the last 3 months.
Travelling with a new born made stress free with this hotel.
Both sides of the hotel are nice but preference is the prestige side.
Great staff and great hotel.

Booked as the finale after a month of tour travel in **************, we hoped for a soft landing spot. The Kerry turned out better than our expectations. The reception staff are excellent and made us feel immediately welcome. The room with the sea view was comfortable, clean, and just what we needed after some austere travel. Another bright star are your cleaning staff who all greeted us warmly whenever we passed - it’s unusual and fantastic to have the entire hotel make one feel welcome. Thank you.

The room is located along Nathan Road. Near to MTR Mongkok Station and bus stops.
The hostel is inside a commercial building and located in 11th floor. Safe because the building is well-lit and no queue on the elevator.
The hostel is also safe, there is a security lock not only in your room but at the entrance of the hostel so only guests and staff are allowed to enter.
The room is very clean and complete with all the basic things you 'll need like very cold aircon, hot and cold shower, toiletries, slippers, kettle with cups and built-in electric sockets (no need to buy adaptor).
They also allow you you to leave your luggages after your check out time for free.
Thanks Mongkok Hostel.

Exit B of Jordan Station is 10 meters downstairs. It is very convenient to travel. The room is equipped with a mainland jack without an adapter. The landlady is very nice and enthusiastic. She can speak Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Although the room size cannot be compared with that in the mainland, it is tidy. It's very clean. In short, if you stay here during non-holidays, the price is still very good👍

AAnonymous UserWe were satisfied for the stay in Hong Kong, booked Royal Plaza Hotel which was recommended by friend. Front desk staff is friendly. Location is convenient for taking metro, but not friendly for those taking A21, need to walk quite far. Good stayed for four of us. However the toilet also come out urine smell after using, no matter how many times we flushed. After cleaned by cleaner still the same issue. Another issue about bed bugs, i met this issue first time, didn't know this was due to beg bugs until I felt the itchness. So I decided to inform trip.com about the compensation from the hotel. Unfortunately Royal Plaza Hotel rejected by reason of not inform during the stay. My friend who stayed closer date with me, her kid also got bed bugs bites in this hotel. Anyway, I am happy with trip.com's customer service Jenny who assisted me to approached the hotel although there was nothing help, but she was able to claim some coin for me from trip.com. We won't choose Royal Plaza Hotel anymore in the future.
JJanet ChuLocation of hotel was quite convenient because it's easy access to Yaumatei MTR station and Nathan Road.
Cleanliness was not up to standard due to old carpets in room caused bad smell once entering the room. Had reported to staff on day one when checked in, but nothing could be done due to other rooms also had the same situations.
Some of the counter staff were quite helpful, waiters working in Canteen were nice to clients. Highly recommended menu of breakfast could be revised every week, because long time staying clients would feel boring about the choices. House keeping staff were helpful too!
Strongly unsatisfied with the laundry machine on 18/F, due to totally three dryers were not well performed, clothes were still wet even though just put small portion of clothes.
After complained to front desk staff, nothing could be improved, they just gave a token to client to dry the clothes again! To waste another 40 minutes for drying again!
SSutapaThe hotel is probably 2 kms away from the airport but there is shuttle service in the bus terminal which runs every 40 mins to 1 hr free of cost. The concierge stuff were very helpful in giving guidance for how to locate the service buses and go to the mtr stations. The room was very clean , a bit small but nice. The lady at the checkin counter was so good , l forgot my passport there, she called my extension and returned in no time. The food in Petra was delicious . The nearest station is Tungchung . All in all a good stay
AAnonymous UserLocation is far from MTR , the nearest is TSUEN WAN WEST need to take taxi from OP mall. About 40-50HKD (depends on traffic)
The hotel service is great. But all the amenities disappointed. For a 4Star Hotels , I expected more of it. But there is no complimentary water *I’m Shocked! even though normally hotel gaves us A lot of complimentary water.
The receptionist say to us start 2 may. They no more giving us water. But overall thank you . 🙏🏻😇
AAABalceThis was a solid stay for the price and location. Conveniently located, just a short 2-3 min walk from Quarry Bay Exit C. Jason and Eric at the front desk were super friendly and even upgraded us to the top floors given we were checking in a bit later in the day. The shower pressure was very nice, and the AC very comfortable. For the price and location would happily stay again.
GGraceSummerThe building is split into two blocks which require you to go above your floor in a lift and cross over a terrace and go down 2 floors to arrive at the 4th floor hotel room in which we stayed. Unusual and most inconvenient when it came to moving heavy bags and luggage. No baggage concierge is available. A separate stairwell enables access to the ground floor via a private entrance/exit. If flights of stairs are a problem for you this could be an issue, otherwise it will require you to embark on the unusual route of having to go up first to go down if choosing to use the lift if your room happens to be in the separate block. The room itself was pleasant and styled in an appealing old fashioned manner, albeit very cramped with not enough storage space we found. The addition of a small balcony enabling a space to smoke with our double standard room was fantastic. Being able to be outside without leaving your room was very welcome. This was the sole feature (as well as laziness) as to why we extended our stay in the hotel past our initial booking check out date. However management tried to increase the rates the longer we stayed not honouring the prices offered by booking sites only offering 'take now' or lose the room and non-negotiable walk-in prices at the reception. (Don't be fooled), when you would otherwise expect rooms to offer some form of discount the longer you stay. Front of house staff were very friendly and helpful and the efficient cleaners who unfortunately don't clean under the beds for some peculiar reason. However the rest of the room was well maintained daily. Some of our facilities were broken however, the outdoor balcony light didn't work, the tiny sink slender man would have trouble using and the built in usb chargers in the wall did not work at all requiring us to buy one and plug into a regular power socket in order to charge devices. Steady WiFi connection. A handy safe to store valuables, a washing machine on the first floor, hang dry as the dryer was terrible or alternatively using a launderette was a more practical option. As well as a microwave and portable oven for public use downstairs next to the reception. A medium sized smart television with Amazon prime included. A kettle and tea and coffee for two is provided daily as well as a handy sparsely stocked mini fridge whose contents were never touched. However these flaws were not a deal breaker for us, although it could be for others. Wan Chai is also a very busy and noisy road. Soundproofing is not the best so if you are close to ground level noise pollution from pedestrians, buses, taxis, and general traffic as well as shops which advertise with megaphones during opening hours could be a major issue for those noise sensitive. Despite the mingles shortcomings we did find the room endearing and the location is absolutely fantastic and very accessible to many shops and food establishments (breakfast and dinner options on your doorstep), and even a friendly cheap! locals darts bar round the corner within staggering distance (casks darts bar). Ferry, MTR, bus stops and trams to central and causeway bay within short walking distance too. In all we both found we enjoyed our stay in the Mingle. I have no reservations about staying again due to its fantastic location and the provided balcony feature providing current room rates are competitive.
AAnni43The hotel is well located between Chan Wai and Causeway bay subway stations.
The room was at the 20th (last) floor with a nice view on the mountain. The negative point is that we were hearing the vibrations from the airco groups located on the roof (?).
The room is clean but extremely old like many hotels in HK so ok it was expected.
There are only old plugs and only HK type (normal we are in HK) but not well located so if you place the adapter to the one close to the bed it can't fit...
The bath tap is also extremely old. I was afraid to break it each time I took a shower. But water was warm and in quantity so no problem.
The breakfast is a buffet but food/dishes were not well prepared. For instance the bacon was overcooked and very hard or looks like if it has been prepared the day before. The cheese looked like if it stayed too long outside. Nothing appetising :s
FFelHIt’s my 1st time staying in this newly opened hotel since Sep 2022.
Location wise despite it is located within the old industrial area, with just a little walk to the left you find McDonald’s, 7-11 and the local supermarket there.
A short walk to the right you will be reaching the nearest Prince Edward MTR station exit C2 which I would say it’s pretty convenient.
The room is clean and new, with comfortable bed & strong water pressure of the shower. I’ve enjoyed my stay here throughout the week.
PPWe saw a carcass of geeko right at the entrance and a dead cockroach near the balcony. Our room was finally changed but we had to walk up and down to exchange keys no service at all, the dog found the carcasses luckily.
CChinie05Check in was a bit bad A receptionist called Amy Lai? Not sure if its correct doesn't want me to checked in first she said wait for the other guest in the booking I told her that they are still in the flight and she said gave back my IF. Told her so I have to wait until 11pm to check in? I was there at 5pm😂 I was so annoyed she was bery rude. In the end I told her I have their passport pictures she can look and check so she let me checked in after. I also saw her once in the lift and she didn't evem acknolowledge as or say a simple hello to the guest of their hotel. I am from hospitalitly industry before as well so I know that is not a proper way to interact with guest. Other than that other staff are very polite and have good customer service experience.
