GGuest UserWe loved our stay at Sherloft!! Not a party hostel, just a very cool, chill and pleasant place. The space is really cool and cozy, away from the noise but still super close to everything. Staff is super friendly and helpful :) We got a private room that was huge and comfortable, but having a wardrobe or some shelves to organize our stuff would have been nice. For those who have no dietary restrictions breakfast is really good, not many options for vegans though. They have a huge space at the backyard with a washing machine where you can wash your clothes (40 baht) and hang it to dry. Super handy! We used the shared kitchen a few times to cook and it was all good. The only suggestion I´d made is to put bigger and more visible signs around the comum and specially the outside areas about the silent time (from 22 - 8am). Even though the place is quiet and chill, during the night we were waken up by people arriving late and talking and laghing super loud so we would have to ask them to be quiet. Not the hostel fault, of course!! But the signs would definitely help :) we highly recommend this place and we´ll go back there for sure!

LLogan SolamanI recently stayed at October Hostel located in the vibrant Nimman area of Chiang Mai, and I must say, my experience was exceptional!
Location: The hostel's location is perfect for anyone looking to explore Chiang Mai. Nestled in the bustling Nimman neighborhood, it offers easy access to the city center and is just a short drive from the airport, making it incredibly convenient for travelers.
Host and Service: Mark, the hostel owner, was incredibly hospitable. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and was eager to share his knowledge of the city. His insights and tips on where to go and what to do in Chiang Mai greatly enhanced my experience.
Accommodations: The rooms at October Hostel are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. While I stayed in a standard room this time, I was tempted by the option to upgrade to a much larger room. Given the quality of my stay, I am definitely considering this upgrade on my next visit!
Overall Experience: I highly recommend October Hostel to anyone visiting Chiang Mai. Whether you’re a solo traveler or coming with friends, the combination of a great location, warm hospitality, and excellent facilities make this hostel a top choice.
Tip for Future Guests: Don’t hesitate to ask Mark for local recommendations – he truly knows the best spots in town!
Looking forward to my next stay at October Hostel, and I can’t wait to try out the larger room!

GGuest UserFor me it was the best hostel I've stayed in in Chiang Mai. It was the perfect balance between being in a place where I can rest, have some quiet time when needed but still be very close to the main attractions, social bars and party hostels. I did try other nice hostels, but was quickly drained with all the ”pressure to party” and be part of group activities all the time. Very clean and comfortable, different commun area to chill, socialize, work or read in. They provide coffee and water. The owners and staff are the nicest people, thank you for having me (twice! :) )
SSan L12The booking with Trip.com was easy and straight forward. We booked bunk beds in a private room for 2 person but was told the room wss occupied and not available. We were offered a 12 bunker bed mixed dormitory instead.
The hostel is located outside the old Chiang Mai town, about 15mins walk to Chiang Mai University. It is a nice quiet hostel but because it is getting warm thus it is unavoidable to have mosquitoes. The place is clean with a nice dining space with a microwave, fridge, hot water and washing basin. The hostel provides coffee and tea. They also have white bread jam and butter in the morning for us. The only set back was that there's a moldy smell for our bunker room. We believed that the place had not been used for awhile and the place had been surrounded with trees. There's an laundromat nearby.
SShuhuaIdeal location and extremely convenient for traveling

I will stay again if I come to Chiang Mai again. Thank you.

AarmkomThe accommodation is clean. Parking may be a bit limited. If anyone comes out late at night, you may have to find parking in the alley.
It is an accommodation that we have to check in by ourselves. There is a step to tell us. Personally, I think it is convenient. But if there is an incident at night, you may not be able to find a security guard or officer. I would like the accommodation to consider this.
Overall, the price is reasonable for the accommodation.

AaruneerarengThis hotel is very clean ✨✨, the service is very good ❤️, the waiter is hospitable and polite , the room is divided into male/female room, and family room , there are utensils, free WIFI, and we have a Thai breakfast in the morning ️. The location of the hotel is very good at No. 5 Nieman Road, Chiang Mai City. Alley, convenient travel, suitable for a group of colleagues or friends to come out to play with live together, the service fee is not expensive, value for money .............!!!!!!!!!!
DDioneClean, quaint, there is a cute bar with live music and board games on the ground floor! I could hear chickens from my room on the 4th floor though so if you are a light sleeper please prepare ear plugs!
They don’t rly have any special amenities but a bottle of water is given daily!
