OOlivermiaoWe were attending a conference in Shanghai and, since it was the weekend, we decided to visit Moganshan. Although it wasn't peak tourist season, the charm of the mountains and countryside still captivated us. After some research, we booked FUFU Guesthouse in Houwu Village.
I originally booked a wabi-sabi style king room, but since the guesthouse had other room types available that day, the owner generously upgraded us to a deluxe king room with a 270-degree mountain view. Opening the door, the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows were like a giant painting, showcasing the beauty of Houwu Village without reservation. The distant, layered mountains and the charmingly scattered farmhouses created a tranquil and peaceful rural scene.
The room's amenities were surprisingly comprehensive. The underfloor heating made the entire room warm and cozy, even when it was chilly outside. The projector added a lot of enjoyment to the evenings; snuggling in the soft bed and watching our favorite movies felt like being in our own private cinema.
The service at this guesthouse was top-notch. Before check-in, the owner thoughtfully sent us helpful tips, providing detailed directions and check-in instructions, ensuring a smooth check-in process upon arrival. The owners were incredibly hospitable, treating us like long-lost friends, making us instantly feel at home. The owner's wife was especially considerate, preparing welcome fruit and coffee vouchers for every guest.
The guesthouse's breakfast was also quite good; you could order your favorite noodles or desserts. Unfortunately, we overslept and missed breakfast time. Unexpectedly, upon check-out, the owner's wife packed us corn, eggs, and dried bamboo shoots. Holding this warm breakfast, I was deeply touched; this thoughtful care made our trip to Moganshan even more unforgettable.
A fantastic mountain retreat experience, excellent value and a warm, welcoming atmosphere—highly recommended!

GGuest UserThis was my first time visiting Moganshan, and I booked the Shangpo B&B based on Ctrip's ratings and reviews. I was really impressed by the welcome letter, which showed the owner is cultured and thoughtful, and it immediately heightened my expectations for this 'paradise on earth'...
The B&B is nestled amidst mountains and bamboo forests, with a three-story, reddish-orange Tuscan-style exterior that exudes a vintage charm. It feels incredibly exotic being surrounded by the bamboo sea and mountains. The environment here is serene and peaceful, truly a 'paradise away from the hustle and bustle' as described in the welcome letter.
The room was clean and elegant, offering mountain views right from the moment you open the door. Every detail exuded a subtle luxury. My favorite part was the artwork in the common areas – several Picasso-esque paintings by Dutch artists, paired with light luxury, simple European furniture, creating a striking visual contrast between modern and vintage that sparks a unique aesthetic romance.
Both the Chinese and Western meals here were incredibly delicious, fresh, and exquisitely prepared. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner could all be customized to guests' requests; it truly felt like everyone was a VIP.
The service at the B&B was also outstanding. Coffee and mineral water were provided free of charge and unlimited throughout the day! The housekeeper was warm, attentive, and incredibly responsive to every request. This is, without a doubt, the best-serviced B&B I've ever stayed at. I will definitely be back!

Recently, I went to Moganshan for a short-term trip with my relatives and friends. Everyone wanted to climb the mountain bubble hot spring, so after a serious study for one night, I finally chose to go to the village. Moganshan Hot Spring Resort B&B (Firefly Base Store)
[Fee] I booked a double room on a certain trip, 850 yuan per night/room, about 425 yuan per person/night, including a soup, a tea in the stove, a horse riding experience (one person can be free, you can ride for 6 minutes), a golf experience (the kind of practice), Guangdong local hot to explode, It feels really good in winter in the province! Although we booked a double room, riding a horse can be free for one person. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the dream fairy equestrian knight club. In the mentality of coming, we will spend an extra 98 yuan/person, so that all people have experienced riding. There are many beautiful net red punch points there, you can take more photos.
[Service] Butler service will still be more active to ask us when to surround the stove, etc. After booking the hotel, remember to make an appointment with the housekeeper early to soak in the hot springs, because it is a private soup, each session can be soaked for forty minutes, every time the soup will provide flower tea and fruit, European-style fireplace hot spring, The scene is still relatively filmed~
[Dining] The homestay is divided into one store and two stores. This time I have eaten on both sides. One store has private dishes to eat. The per capita is about 100 yuan. I have tried the taste and the price is expensive. If you have breakfast, I feel that the second store is better than the first store. There are two or three farms nearby. This time I tried one of them called Weijia Farmhouse. It tastes good, about 80 per capita.
[Facilities] In addition to hot springs and barbecue places, the second store will be bigger, there is a large lawn with activities, but there is no hot spring, the facilities of the two stores can be shared, all in the firefly base, there should be a lot of fireflies in summer, and there is a summer night market. But I really want to complain about it. There is no slope at the entrance of the second store. It is not very friendly to friends who drag the box. The layout in the room is warm. The bathroom has a smart toilet lid and drying rack. It will not freeze the butt in winter. The bathing suit can also be dried immediately after soaking in the hot spring.

GGuest UserMe and my girlfriend celebrated our anniversary here. We wanted to book a really nice place. I came across this hotel that had a private sauna in the room and thought it would be perfect for a spa-like retreat. The room was gorgeous and spacious with a big tub in the middle, a sauna, rain shower and a view of the mountain. The owner was very polite and accomodating. She allowed us to check in early, brought us a TV when requested, and the breakfast was “home cooked style” where they used some fresh seasonal ingredients grown around the area. For those with cars it also has a sizeable parking area under the building. Definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Moganshan.

TtropismWe loved our time here! The staff are very sincere and friendly which made all the difference to our stay. They “saved” us when we and our dog were stuck in Moganshan at night, by personally driving down to pick us up - we were super grateful! The minsu is very clean and well maintained, and the meals we had there were all excellent. We loved the farmhouse chicken soup we had for dinner in particular. We also took a little hike around the minsu which was very pleasant. Would love to come back here again someday!

__CFT010000001002****Our two-day 'retreat' with my mom and grandma has come to a perfect end! A big thank you to our butler, Xiao Liu, for the thoughtful arrangements. He upgraded our rooms and every meal was delicious. The elders in my family are always so happy when they're in a natural, mountain setting. The rooms were spacious and had everything we needed – we didn't have to prepare a thing. Plus, there were charging stations for our electric car, so all we had to do was relax. We'll definitely be back!

AAnonymous UserThe host contacted me in advance to inform me of what to expect. On day of check in the venue was easy to find and free parking was available. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very warm and friendly lady. The hotel was beautifully decorated and very calm relaxed aura. The room itself was bright and airy. A huge bath large enough for 2 people and a large balcony. There were lots of indoor activities to partake in or many cosy places to talk, read or work. Overall a very peaceful place with a fantastic host. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area. Many thanks for amazing service! ❤️

YYiBabe_Meeting the deer/cute animal interaction: The deer are super cute and friendly, and the place is very clean. Most importantly, the staff service is amazing! We missed breakfast, and the staff even asked if we had eaten and then cooked us a bowl of noodles. Highly recommend, will definitely come again next time!
