JJasur MavlyanovWe recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Mo Yan Homestay (莫颜·莫干山Villa环山溯溪美宿（庾村广场店)) with our two children. The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic, situated incredibly close to the hiking trails of Moganshan. The amenities are equally impressive, featuring a large outdoor pool, a rooftop barbecue area, and an additional ground-floor barbecue spot. There are plenty of cozy sitting areas both inside and around the hotel for relaxation.
For indoor entertainment, the hotel offers a spacious billiard table on the ground floor, as well as an arcade gaming set that our kids couldn’t get enough of. Speaking of the kids, they were thrilled with the children’s themed room we booked. The room’s balcony provided stunning views of the river, mountains, and lush bamboo forests that front the hotel.
But what truly sets Mo Yan Homestay apart are the hosts. They are among the best we’ve encountered in China, making us feel completely at home. This was our second trip to Moganshan, and thanks to the incredible hospitality at Mo Yan, it certainly won’t be our last. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!

GGuest UserLocation: Opposite Jun'anli, very close to the starting point of Moganshan Cross-country Race. You can clean up your stomach in the hotel and walk over to start running. You don't need to store your bag, let alone queue for the bathroom near the starting point.
Environment: The whole villa with front and back yards is spacious and open. Because of the gate, it is private and well separated from the street. There is a large outdoor swimming pool and grass canopy in the yard. There are many small chairs, small tables, hanging chairs, and flowers and plants to rest and daze. The lobby on the first floor is very spacious, the sofa is very comfortable, and the combination of various exquisite furnishings and plants can show the boss's love for life. Many still life sketches can be taken in different small corners.
Room: The room is spacious, clean and tidy, needless to say, the bedding is well-received, the bed is just soft and hard, and the latex pillow is very friendly to my sensitive neck! I slept very well for two nights. I like the windows on one wall, with a bamboo forest outside the window, and a wall like a painting. The frame does not change and the content of the painting changes with the seasons. The quality of various toiletries and aromatherapy is very good. The blueberries for welcome fruit are also washed in a box, touching!
Breakfast: Choose according to the menu the day before. The boss specially prepares a special breakfast at 6 o'clock for the cross-country racers. The sandwich is well received! The sour soup noodles for daily breakfast are well received! The boss can take care of all kinds of taboos, which is touching!
Service: The boss is super nice, warm and thoughtful, beautiful and considerate, making people feel at home.
I hope that the track organized by Kalas next time will be different from that of TNF, so that there will be another reason to come back!

JJade TallowinWe had an amazing stay at this villa. The owners are by far the best part of the stay. They are so nice and friendly. The man drove us around town a few times and helped us prepare things for our bbq. He set everything up and cleaned it up. Whenever we offered to help he never allowed us. The room was immaculate when we arrived and everyday if we left the room no matter what time they would go up and clean it. We got fresh bedding and towels everyday which was not necessary but a very nice thought. Anything we needed we could just ask and they would help us. We did book this place over others based on they had a resturant but just be ware you need to have a minimum of 8 people in your party to use it. This was no problem for us though as we just ate in town down the road.
I would highly recommend this place for couples who want to sit and enjoy nature but also any families looking for a nice place to relax. They have an amazing garden and the pool was great too.
Honestly have no complaints! The games room was awesome too!

The buildings are mostly single-family villas, some retaining the local earth wall style, but the interior is European-style rural style, with story-filled utensils and art decoration, both wild and exquisite. The room is named after ”Mogan, Ziling, Mountain Village, Reading”, and the details are hidden in ingenuity.
The double bed suite room type, some of which are double loft structures, equipped with large floor-to-ceiling windows, independent balcony and bathtub, and the bamboo sea and mountain view can be seen by pushing the window. The facilities pay attention to comfort.
”Butler-style intimate” service, will wait in advance to help carry luggage when you check in. Dining is the core highlight. Afternoon tea and breakfast are exquisite and ceremonial. The villa owner, Mr. Wang, is very talkative and caring. Dinner is a private dish with Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai tastes. The ingredients are fresh and the taste is authentic.
Would recommend family and friends to stay again!

We got there after 8 pm on a Friday night and the front desk was available and waiting for us. They allowed night swimming and had great a spacious Karaoke facility. This hotel /BnB is pet friendly and so our 2 fur kids were not discriminated against and was treated with a great care. If I could suggest a few things it would be:
1. The cats in the cat enclosure have not had their space cleaned in weeks. There are feces and spider webs inside the 'space'. The cats never come out and look very unhappy. Please can they be better taken care of.
2. Rooms can be swept and cleaned daily.
3. Breakfast can be less dough based but some more fruit and healthier food options.
Overall, we would definitely visit again and really enjoyed such a warm environment.

Although Huang Fu's former residence is located in a bustling city, the moment you enter the courtyard, you're instantly struck by tranquility. The ambiance and furnishings of this large courtyard are truly worth savoring, reflecting the B&B owner's artistic taste and meticulous attention to detail. Recently, I went to Moganshan for a short-term trip with my relatives and friends. Everyone wanted to climb the mountain bubble hot spring, so after a serious study for one night, I finally chose to go to the village. Moganshan Hot Spring Resort B&B (Firefly Base Store)
[Fee] I booked a double room on a certain trip, 850 yuan per night/room, about 425 yuan per person/night, including a soup, a tea in the stove, a horse riding experience (one person can be free, you can ride for 6 minutes), a golf experience (the kind of practice), Guangdong local hot to explode, It feels really good in winter in the province! Although we booked a double room, riding a horse can be free for one person. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to the dream fairy equestrian knight club. In the mentality of coming, we will spend an extra 98 yuan/person, so that all people have experienced riding. There are many beautiful net red punch points there, you can take more photos.

However, if you're traveling by car, it's not an issue at all, just a ten-to-fifteen-minute drive. The service was excellent; they added me on WeChat early on and were always quick to answer any questions. We decided to hike the Jiang Gong Ancient Trail to the top of Moganshan with my dad on New Year's Day morning. We started at 7 AM and reached the summit by 8 AM. We were incredibly lucky to see a snowy landscape that morning, and even better, the sun came out around 9 AM, turning the sky a beautiful sapphire blue. PS: The EV charging fee is a bit high, surprisingly 1.9 yuan per kWh.

ZZoeVHThe service was the true standout of our stay at this B&B! The owner and his wife were so kind and welcoming to us during our stay. Anything we needed (included a request for a Bluetooth speaker and bicycles to explore the area) they accommodated. We ate lunch once and dinner twice there…the food was simple, fresh, and delicious. On our second night when we requested dinner we were invited to eat dinner with their family and have some beers, which made our stay feel warm and memorable—it was such a nice experience.
Although we are foreigners and have limited Chinese language ability both the boss and his wife were so friendly and thoughtful! Anything you need can be requested on WeChat.
The location is beautiful and tucked perfectly into the mountains (beware though, most restaurants and shops will require at least a 15 minute walk to reach…this didn’t bother us much though because we several meals at the homestay).
Overall, a wonderful stay that we would definitely recommend to others!
