Costa Adeje Hotels with Hot Tub

Great location, 10 minutes walk down to the beach. There are 2 pools, one heated and always sun beds available. Did hear they had a booking system for these but we never had to. Bars, restaurants and a shop on the complex which was useful. The only issue was they had live music on from 4pm every day and it seemed unnecessarily loud. It didn’t bother us too much but can imagine it would be a nightmare if you had a balcony closer to the bars. Apartment was great, balcony overlooking the pool and very well equipped. The staff left a bottle of wine for my partners 30th while we were there which was a nice touch. Would stay again, but would definitely recommend emailing ahead and asking for a room away from the bars.

Just got back from 10 nights (6th Dec to 16th Dec) at the El Mirador. So my simple review is of the prestige section of the hotel as we stopped in room 1208. Firstly firt time here in this adults ony hotel, on arrival everything looked and felt very impressive with very kind and welcoming staff, we got a basic tour before being taken to our magnificent room that had a lovely balcony with two chairs and two sun lounges. The room came with its own mini bar and wine fridege plus jars of snacks etc (the chocolate cones are amazing) these are filled up each and every day with the simple request to have more soft drinks as I dont drink alchohol also adhered too which was nice, I have to say my wife does like a glass of wine but the wine in the wine fridge was all red wine, bit starnge we thought. The sunbathing area including the little booths that contain all drinks and snacks where perfect. Breakfast in the prestige section was simply brilliant. The spa was small but if youre in pretige its free so we visited pretty much everyday. But the best bit about this hotel is the staff, nothing is too much trouble, I cant rember all the names but Jonathon (butler) Davide (waiter at breakfast) are just two out of the many amazing staff. Today is Tuesday 17th December so first day back and Ive booked to go again for 10 nights on the 8th Febuary 2025, I have also upgraded the room to a ? I think its a junior suite in the pretige section so I am so looking forward to my second visit here. P.S we ate out at the evening every night bar our final night where we ate at the hotel restaurant, It was genuinely the best meal of the holiday, the Tacos plus the Guinea fowl was to die for.

This has been the most disappointing holiday I have ever had. Please read on, but if you want my quick summary: This hotel is good in some ways, but the price is grossly wrong for the level of service it is delivering. It is a hotel of days gone by, but it has kept its outrageously high prices, and fails to deliver at almost every turn. I have stayed in hotels 1/4 the price and had better service and experience. This hotel is the definition of all fur coat and ... well you get it. We paid over £8000 GBP for 4 adults for just 6 nights stay, and this only included breakfast. This also was in the off-season of October. Overcharged on arrival: The hotel charged me twice, resulting in £140 in unnecessary bank fees. Although refunded, this mistake shouldn't have happened. Dead flowers: Wilted flowers were left all over the hotel. Unsafe conditions: Plug sockets were hanging off the walls. Filthy environment: The floors and corridors were dirty, and the grout looked like it hadn't been cleaned in decades. Plumbing issues: My parents' room smelled of sewage due to faulty plumbing throughout the stay. Flooded bathroom: My grandmother's shower basin was blocked with someone else's hair, causing flooding. Inaccessible for elderly: The hotel’s layout made it almost impossible for our 85-year-old grandmother to move around, contrary to what the photos suggest. Exorbitant fees: After paying over £8,000 for 6 nights, we were still charged £20 per person to play pitch and putt on the hotel's own grounds. Unhygienic breakfast: Dirty cups were used at breakfast. Shower hygiene: Previous guests' hair remained in my shower basin for the first three days. Poor poolside facilities: Towels at the pool were often ripped and frayed, yet still in use. Unsafe lifts: My mother nearly broke her arm tripping due to unsecured mats inside the lift. Inconvenient lift service: One lift was out of order, and we were told to just walk to another, without any assistance or apology. Not a 5* attitude. Not even a sign on the door to apologise for inconvenience. Waiting for lift for my elderly grandmother to be able to get down to breakfast at 9am was a nightmare. The reception just didn't care. Poor hygeine around pool: Soap dispensers appear to never have been cleaned in years. Unclean exercise area: The decking for morning stretching was covered in bird droppings that had clearly not been cleaned for months. Inadequate room service: Ordered a pasta arrabiata, which arrived as overcooked pasta with barely any sauce—a complete embarrassment. Absurd poolside restrictions: Denied food by the pool without wearing trousers, then told we had to order snacks 24 hours in advance. No basic options like crisps or fruit were available, despite charging €190 for a massage. If this hotel had of cost half the price, we would have probably overlooked these issues, but throughout the holiday we noticed more and more problems and we just feel totally ripped off. This 6 day trip was not worth

Where to start…dirty bedding, dirty towels, broken flooring… looked like red/ blood marks in the bathroom. Bedding was not changed until we asked, when we asked for fresh towels, they all had black/dirty marks on. Our room door was damaged. Dirty plates, cups, glasses and cutlery in the restaurant. We ordered a fresh pizza at the pool bar, and they brought it out cold, then asked for a fresh one and we could see it was the Same one warmed back up. The evening restaurant we was served raw chicken. My partner then took a small bottle of water into the restaurant to take some medication with his food, and they come over to us and told him he isn’t aloud to bring his own water in and we have to pay for a glass bottle which was €2.50. The lady who told us this then carried on telling the other staff and making it obvious by pointing at us and all talking, a few staff then kept looking over at us rudely. My partner hadn’t even take a sip of water. Also noticed the milk at breakfast was very lumpy, this might explain why.. we had early breakfast (6:30am) the day of our flight home. And the milk/ food was already out, no heat or refrigerator on to keep the food hot/cold enough. I dread to think how long the food/ milk is actually kept there without following food temperature procedure's. We also noticed that the cleaners/ maintenance staff were letting themselves in our rooms without knocking. Me and my partner were getting changed and a cleaner walked into our room. The lock our side was on but they still managed to get access. The second time this happened my partner was in the shower. None of the staff knock the door to let people know they are entering. A lot of the staff are really rude, especially when you ask for something. Nicely location across the beach but very noisy on the *****. I wouldn’t recommend.

We were dreading what we’d find after reading recent reviews in January but had no reason to worry at all! We stayed in a suite, No 2012. The lift was quick, no waiting around. It was a very clean suite of rooms; comfortable with a balcony view of the main pool and lovely sunsets. We were surprised to find a fridge full of assorted drinks in the fridge at no extra charge. All inclusive 4* resorts we’d normally stay in usually incur a charge for these! The towels and bedding were good quality & comfortable & we slept very well. We had a huge jacuzzi bath in the bedroom area that did take around 25 mins to fill but was lovely to try. The bathroom included a big, walk-in, rainfall shower. There were over two dozen wooden hangers in the wardrobes and a shelved area too. We took a kettle as in the write up it said tea OR coffee making facilities, when there was actually a coffee m/c AND a kettle with everything you’d need to use them. We paid for a safe for our 5 day stay at €20 and received €5 back. Robes were included in the room at no extra cost. There was no shortage of sun beds & we enjoyed being by the pool bar on the upper floor where there was plenty of sun or shade, along with tables & chairs by the small cafe area. The food was good/very good; always something you’d find to enjoy & was fresh, hot & cooked well. The hotel made a special effort on Valentine’s Day where fresh red roses, canapés & champagne was offered at breakfast & evening meal on arrival at the restaurant. It was trimmed up nicely & a mariartie band played. All coffee machines provided delicious drinks. The orange juice was sadly lacking; more like a squash so we didn’t bother with that but there was always fresh fruit on offer. Almost every, single member of staff; the bar staff, animation staff, cafe bar staff, restaurant staff, reception was very friendly and polite. They were all very accommodating to our large, group of 12 of family & friends; a special birthday and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. We met & spoke to Mariano the proprietor who has a daily presence & eats his meals alongside guests in the restaurant. The measures in the Millennium Bar are of the like we’ve never experienced! Needless to say, we had a very jolly time! All in all, this was an excellent trip with great value for money.

Stayed here for my birthday after some initial confusion regarding the check-in process. I was really impressed with the hotel. The smell of the reception area is absolutely divine all the staff are lovely from housekeepers who work extremely hard to keep up the high standards to tje bar and waiting staff we particularly loved Nora on the roof terrace. The room was spacious with lots of storage, comfortable beds, lovely big bathroom and balcony. The roof terrace was our favourite place to be a great atmosphere with music and great views. Food was plentiful with lots of variety loved that there was lots of local Spanish dishes to sample. Also noticed plenty of choice for children too. Great entertainment at the front of the hotel and at the pool bar. Hotel is well located with great supermarket across the road but the on site shop is well stocked and more than reasonably priced. Enjoyed it so much I have rebooked to bring the family next year and can see us being regular guests

Stayed for a week during half term. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the reviews, I needn’t have been. I don’t eat gluten so was nervous about the labelling and choice. The majority of food is labelled really clearly and there is plain cooked fish and meat everyday. There was also a huge choice of salads. At breakfast there was a specific area of gluten free bread, cereal and baked goods. Plus a specific gluten free toaster which having stayed in lots of hotels is extremely rare. The drinks selection was really good and strong, especially at the bar near the entertainment. Lots of people put sunbeds out near the main pool but there was always lots of beds near the splash pool and that pool was less rowdy as there was no bar or entertainment. The hotel was incredibly clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful. The only thing that let it down was the view from our balcony, but we spent little time on it so it didn’t matter. We were there for Halloween and the kids entertainment was brilliant and the food selection and effort that went into it was exceptional. Overall a really great holiday

I don’t know why people slate this hotel, I have stayed here on several occasions, and I’ve never had a problem. it’s in a great location near to shops and bars the staff go out of the way to help you and make your stay, a pleasure. The room is the spotlessly clean, the beds are so comfortable and the best pillows ever. there is everything you require in the kitchen. Depending on which room you book is whether there is a hairdryer or not, but this is clearly stated in the brochure. Yes, you pay €10 for the TV remote, but you get this back once your stay is over. Who goes on holiday to watch TV? The pool area is lovely and clean, just like the rest of the hotel. All the staff from cleaners to reception staff speak perfect English and nothing is too much trouble for them. Keep up the good work Caribe looking forward to returning soon
