Green Mar Hotel

The rooms are huge and cleaned daily, the beds are really comfortable. Aircon throughout the room works a treat. The staff are super friendly, and the hotel is central to everything. I would definitely recommend and stay here again 100% !!!

Fantastic. Ignore the negative reviews. I'm glad we did. Arrived early morning. Checked in by very helpful staff. Air con fee £10 per day- it was needed with temperature in the 30's at night and £5 per day for the safety box. Shown to our room. The rooms - bathroom with a powerful shower and hot water, large living room with 2 big sofa settees ( really comfy) side unit with t.v, fridge, kettle and 2 paper cups, bedroom with double bed and wardrobe with plenty of hangers (previous people must have left them.) balcony with table and 2 chairs. Everything was clean and tidy and cleaners came daily and left extra toilet roll and any towels needed. They don't change everything daily but we did find we had the odd dirty towel changed. No issues with the room. It's ideal for a base. Breakfast is Turkish breakfast or cereal, melon, bread and jam. Tea/coffee machine. Breakfast is served in the attached Friends bar. Some of the staff speak little English but if you speak first and try to communicate with them you will find they are really friendly, caring people. Mahmet, the one who likes to dance, is an absolute pleasure. He tries hard to speak in English and uses his phone to translate. He is an asset to the place and so caring, pleasant and helpful. I will miss my little evening dances. Siddal ( not sure if I have the name correct) Chico, to name a few made our stay a happy one with some brilliant memories to treasure. Music is played till around midnight but that didn't bother us. Pool area with steps down into it. I would recommend and return.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience at this hotel, very noisy as the balcony doors didn't shut properly, the curtains did not meet and the shower leaked through to the bedroom wall also a bad smell in the room mainly drainage areas of bathroom) As someone else has mentioned I had something taken from my room (ear buds head phones, but could not say exact time this happened).

I recently stayed in the green mar hotel from the 17th June to the 1st July the staff aren't very helpful especially the housekeeping I constantly had to ask for clean towels and bedding and toilet paper. The bar staff constantly ignored me if I needed help with anything. Also I may have been overcharged for air con and the safety deposit box I definitely won't be staying there again

Can't fault the accommodation, clean, comfortable and spacious, the view from room 301 is beautiful, air-conditioning in living room and bedroom (optional), 2 large comfortable setee's, fridge, kettle, up to date modern decor, staff couldn't be more welcoming and always willing to help. The pool is clean and well maintained, plenty of sun beds. Would recommend to family friends and other members of the public, just visit and relax and enjoy 😁🌞🌞🌞

Travelled with my husband and two sons, Great central location. Lovely hotel, rooms spacious and very clean, great pool area, fabulous bar and restaurant (friends bar) staff really friendly and made us feel welcome, would definitely recommend, we will be booking again.

Do not leave anything lying out in ure room as just recently back from there and had something taken from my room during the day when we were out. They do let maintenance people into rooms without informing u. Apart from this issue the rooms are lovely but noisy if facing the main road. The guys that work in friends bar below are great guys and make u feel so welcome. Personally will not be staying here again due to the above reasons.

Excellent Hotel, the rooms have all been refurbished and all have a bedroom and a separate lounge area and a balcony. The cleanliness is impeccable. There is a pool area and restaurant / bar. The food is good and they will accommodate all of your needs. The staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to help. It’s a central location, with a short walk to the beach. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed in greenmar again this year for 6wks.Fantasic refurb done comfy bed and sofa beds.The addition of wifi on all floors is fab for teens.Pool and bar area great staff are very friendly and accomaditing.would 100% reccomend
